As most I'm sure I seen this featured on Shark Tank. I was excited to see our town had open a Fat Shack. I alway like trying new things and so me an my wife decided to give this a go. Not here to dog a place out but it was not good. The food was bland and not fresh. Couldn't eat all of what we ordered not because we ordered to much but it was just NOT good. Second the place itself. Tables were dirty the floors were dirty, flys everywhere. Not exactly a scene you want to consume food. Made me wonder if the dinning area is this dirty what does the kitchen look like? Then the price/value. Me and my wife got two wraps I did the full portion she did the half. Over 60 dollars .For what we got and what it ended up being to say the least we were disappointed. Will unfortunately never return. Sad cause what was presented on Shark Tank and how great it looked was far from reality. read more

College town favorite, I'm sure. I imagine late night friends soaking up the drinks with all the fried, yummy food. Just stopped by on a random Saturday afternoon while traveling to Colorado with a group of friends. We had the Fat Cow, Fat Shack, Deluxe Angus, fries, and wings. First tip... the fat burgers are NOT burgers. They come with what is on the menu. So it's not a burger with chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, etc. Just the ingredients. We didn't understand that I guess. The Fat Shack and the Angus burger were incredible. It's pretty cool how they take a bunch of stuff and roll it into a sandwich. Unique idea and awesome combinations. The fries also received rave reviews. The employees were polite. The service was fast. The place was clean. I don't think I would choose this place again on my own but it's worth the stop to try out. I would definitely go again if invited. read more

Waited over TWO HOURS and finally decided to exit the restaurant without receiving my food because the restaurant stated they were "busy". I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. My family and I were visiting manhattan, Kansas for the first time and our first stop to eat at was at Fat Shack. For our party of 3 we were just looking for a snack size portion for all of us. This restaurant had really great options so we had to choose their specials: Burger Lunch Special and Wing Lunch Special. Everyone was so very kind to us from the woman in the front explaining the menu to us to the cooks. What the cooks had done for us was beyond our expectations. They separated the two specials we got into three individual plates for my family and I with an equal about of the wings, burger and fries (see photo). How awesome was that right?!!! Everything was phenomenal - the fries were perfection, wings were delicious, and burger was very yummy. We actually wanted to order more but we knew dinner was coming up shortly so we couldn't spoil our appetites. When we're in manhattan, we'd definitely come to Fat Shack again! Thank you to the cooks and everyone who was working there at the time. Ya'll made our experience in Manhattan a pleasant one. read more

We've ordered delivery from them a few times, every time something has been missing, usually fries. The food is good, though, so when we saw they were open later on Easter night, we ordered. Then 45 minutes later after our delivery driver gets there to pick up the order, they cancel it, saying they're closed. They'd initially confirmed the order when we placed it AND they are still showing as open on DoorDash, so I guess they just decided to cancel the order for laughs. I cannot recommend anyone try to order from this place, it's just not worth it. read more

I completely understand why this fast-food restaurant choose this name. It is very fitting. I was really looking forward to eating here, but the restaurant just did not meet my expectations. The food was average, nothing you couldn't easily make at home. Honestly, it would probably taste better at home. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1, is because their deep-fried cheesecake bites dipped in a strawberry sauce were fantastic. Good is great. To bad a carry out order takes legitimately 45 minutes from ordering to getting the food. This place should just be shut down as a store front and just do cooking for door dash. This is the 5th or so time where the food took long. This was the last straw. As I waited the first 15 minutes from ordering the person behind the cash register looks at me and goes "oh well we just had to start the fryer so it's going to take an extra few minutes". Food is amazing! I absolutely love the burgers and sandwiches. However the service is complete trash. I get it's not fancy at all but McDonald's has better service that this place. No one ever welcomes you or says hi, especially now since that they don't take your order due to covid 19 I guess?? They make you do it on there computer that they don't sanitize after each person... I also witnessed a girl come in for her shift, immediately get a drink, get on her phone, and then had food dilivered to her for her to say she was going on break every though she had been there for 6 minutes. Another thing(covid related), I'm 90% certain that manhattan is requiring all food industry people to wear masks while at work and none of them do. I work at a local shop in town and we're required by the town to wear masks. So I don't know why they think they can't. As much as I hate wearing the mask I still have to follow the rules. Ordered here once before, ended up having to drive to the store myself to get my order after already paying for a delivery. Just ordered again about 30+ mins ago and my order is still "being prepared" doubt this one will show up as well. Love paying for absolutely nothing as a broke college student. They staff was very down to earth and friendly. I ordered a 6 PCs lemon pepper wing and and fry and man was it extremely hot and fresh. Works for us older folks too. ;) Large sandwiches stuffed with chicken fingers, fries, mac 'n cheese, and sauce were a hit at our table. I couldn't finish a regular-sized sandwich, which is pretty unusual. Fries were crispy and good, while the burgers rated a "better than McDonalds." Staff was friendly. Not great, much better off heading to Hilo or getting cheap Chinese. Food was cold, undercooked, and soggy. The wait was more than 30 mins.

Waited 30 min for an online order, was told to "get comfortable because it's gonna be a while" by one of the employees. Have been coming here for a couple years so I know the wait isn't exactly instant, but her response to me showing her an automated message was so rude, probably because I interrupted her conversation with her friends, during a busy time at that. After waiting another 30 min, I finally asked for a refund, and as it would turn out, my food was already finished, and had been when I originally arrived, but instead of bothering to look at my phone or the order number, I was told to get comfortable. The refund was issued or so I was told, I never got the money back and obviously didn't take the hour old food either. Even after calling again, the $48 or so was never refunded. After coming here for years, I'm finally fed up with the terrible service, highly recommend you skip this place, won't be here for too much longer anyways. read more

I didn't receive any sauces and I even paid more for double the sauce. We ordered chicken fingers dipped in bbq and another in Buffalo...they were very fat and not very appetizing looking...and then I bit into a chewy meat piece and had to spit it out. I tried a couple more little bites and they were okay, but the fat meat was grossing me out. Also, we ordered a large size of onion rings, and there were like 6 in there. Makes me wonder if I wouldn't have paid extra for large, then would I have only gotten 2 onion rings? The fried macaroni was mushy on the inside. Lastly, I know I should just expect fried food that is delivered to not be the same as dining in but nothing was even a little bit warm. I can confidently say that was the most unhealthy thing I've ever consumed. I had the "Fat Doobie" and my goodness was it fat. Loaded with all things unhealthy and smothered in honey mustard it was quite the experience. The honey mustard was over kill and I was left feeling nauseous after eating only half, all I could stomach, of my "regular" (massive) sized sandwich. There was so much honey mustard coating the various junk foods that it was almost like having different textures of honey mustard since all flavors had become muted to the overwhelming flavor of honey mustard. The restaurant was generally dirty, and none of the counters and tables where clean. I had high hopes and I was dissapointed. Terrible! They have a sign that says curbside service with the phone number. I called to tell them I had an online order and ask them if they would bring it to my car and they acted like I was an idiot. I said curbside pick up is on their sign and they act like he had no idea by talking about. They then said that they had a window I could just go to the window. I had to wait for my food for 10 minutes even though I ordered to be done at 4:30. Everything was cold except for the funnel cake bites. I didn't get my drink or my side of fries.
