Gui Gui 9292 is easily becoming one of my go-to AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. You really can't beat their pricing--the lunch special is a total steal at around $22.99, and the dinner menus are super reasonable starting at $29.99. The meats are surprisingly good quality for the price point. Definitely load up on the beef belly, brisket, and marinated pork. The fact that they use real charcoal grills makes a huge difference in the flavor compared to standard gas grills. One of the best parts is their self-serve hot bar. It has all the sauces, side dishes (banchan), salads, and even tortillas for wraps ready to go, so you aren't waiting on a server just to get a refill on kimchi or brisket sauce. Speaking of service, the staff is attentive, quick to change out the grill, and fast with the meat orders.

Food quality is amazing in addition to the service and price. I come here at least once- month. Amazing place.

Amazing quality and service! Hardly ever a wait and the price is the best around. I come here at least once a month

Stopped by on Sunday, 05/03/26 for the first time with my boyfriend. I personally heard about this place through Instagram. There is also another location in La Habra. We took advantage of their $22.99 lunch deal (every day, 7 days a week from 11:30am-4pm) which comes with 32 unique items! - 1 lunch special = $22.99 - 1 lunch special = $22.99 - 1 Sapporo = $8 SUBTOTAL = $53.98 TAX (9.70%) = $5.26 OVERALL TOTAL = $59.24 *** Also left $15 tip in cash *** My favorites were the kimchi, mushrooms and corn cheese. This place also serves TORTILLAS!

This is another disappointment from social influencers. With these types of places I just have to stay away! I keep getting sick with vomiting and bathrooms right after I eat these meat left out in a buffet style setting. I came bc they were notoriously known for cheap lunch prices. However, I only made it for dinner. It is still cheap at 30$ but the quality of meat seems to be not the greatest. The inside isnt too big and its dim. The service was really great and they were very helpful and kind. I ordered the steamed egg and maybe this would be redeemable, but NOPE! My eggs were burnt and it felt like eating am omelet.. it was so thick and filling. The only good thing was the seaweed soup. that was unfortunately also left out at the buffet bar.

Tofu Soup. Good spiciness for me! ( ^_^)b

We had a great time at Gui Gui 9292. This spot is such a reliable and solid spot for good quality KBBQ! My wife and I came by a week ago around 8PM and it wasn't too busy on a weekday night. The parking lot has many spots. The interior is set up nicely. There's a so many tables and plenty of booths. The TVs were playing the Dodgers that night and we were seated fast. They have different tier options on their menu. Menu A, B or C. All of them are competitive to other spots. We opted for the C menu which was $29.99. The staff explained they have a self serve area for some of the Bachan and most of the pork protein options are self serve. The staff and particularly our server was awesome he checked in on us and even brought some banchan to the table when it needed to be refilled. The restaurant uses the buzzer system if you need anything from the wait staff. Our go to options are always the beef belly and brisket. The portion and marbling were good on each of them. Their steam egg was delicious and that tofu soup was spicy! Just the way I like it lol. The self serve aspect is fine with me on the certain banchan and other sauces. The overall ambiance and service was great. We definitely are adding Gui Gui 9292 as a dependable KBBQ option to our list. Especially since this part of Rowland Heights has so many to choose from. Definitely dont' sleep on Gui Gui 9292. They are legit in my eyes! For sure go out a give them a try if you have that KBBQ craving! ( ^_^)b

Just by looking at the lunch menu, you probably should come here. You really don't get the prices of $23 for lunch ayce anymore. The deal was too hard to pass up since most kbbq places are around $35+ for sure. I recommend coming here on opening time to avoid the lunch rush. A lot of the stuff is self serve, like a buffet style, such as fish cakes, rice paper, fried rice, korean noodles, sauces, and other marinated meats. However, I would just ask the server for the brisket and beef belly since those tasted a lot better. For the value, this place was great. The grill was somewhat lackluster since it kept causing us to change grills and I just wish that the service can be a little better. The servers were a little slow to respond to the button. I just wish there were more servers around, but I guess that's how they keep the prices low. I thought this would be like a hole in a wall spot but overall, this place was well kept. The only funny thing was that the booth seating was just 3 regular chairs out together... thought that was pretty funny. Regardless, we'll definitely be back!

Came here recently and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, always checking in and changing the grill when needed. The meat quality was fresh and flavorful, and I liked that they also had newer menu items like ramen and sushi to switch things up from a typical KBBQ spot. Everything came out quickly and the side dishes were solid too. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a fun atmosphere for groups. Definitely a great place if you're craving Korean BBQ in the area. I'd come back again.

$50 for 69 items? Sold! Gui Gui is a solid choice for KBBQ in the Rowland Heights area. This price point is great considering you get premium meats like ribeye steak, short rib steak, and fresh rib. They have fully stocked bar to grab additional items to enjoy with your KBBQ along with less pricey meats like chicken and pork. If you want less variety at a lower price point, they have options for that too. Also the atmosphere here makes me want to drink and have a good time. Service was quite attentive too!

*Thank you Q and a nice lady server for the amazing experience :)* I'm a total lunch deal lover!!! But I still can't believe Guigui 9292 has an all-you-can-eat lunch special 7 days a week--even weekends Starting off strong with their self-serve buffet area featuring marinated meats and side dishes around 26 items to choose from We went for Combo C ($30), which includes: Pork belly Pork jowl Steamed egg Tofu soup with meat - kid loves Kimchi fried rice Beef brisket (included in lunch special) And oh my god... the lunch special starts at just $23!!! Honestly didn't expect the meat and banchan to be this good for the price. We tried the $22.99 lunch menu and it was definitely worth it. We also added the steamed egg and kimchi soup (my favorite...usually ayce restaurants don't make it well) for a little extra and both were super solid. We mostly ordered the beef brisket, spicy beef belly, and pork belly. Everything had good flavor and wasn't dry at all. They also have a buffet style area with some appetizers and meats!

Came back again! It was Sunday and for lunch we wanted something meaty but not too expensive so I remembered this place had a special menu until 4pm for $20, now it's $22.99 and much has changed. We got to choose where to sit and we chose the booth again. They had plenty of seating when we came in and the place doesn't seem any different from last time. The window walls can be hard to see since the sun sets and the rays can burn your eyes! The first order we asked was brisket be beef belly while we got up to grab the rest. Good foods were the fish cake (peppery!), marinated pork belly, bulgogi, beef belly slices, corn cheese, radish wraps, miso soup, and marinated pork steak. The ones we could've gone without was the regular pork belly (tough), pumpkin (hard to chew), and brisket (lean and chewy). The available appetizers were limited as well so we focused on meat more!! The staff was friendly, the seemed busy and forgot to give us water and then we didn't hear from them until we flagged one of them down. They price kids at height and my son was half price. He didn't eat munch of the meat but he did eat a lot of rice...

Staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant has plenty of space and is clean. I got the menu C and I enjoyed the variety of food. My favorite was the beef belly soy marinaded. I also liked the bar where you can grab unlimited rice paper and tortillas so I don't have to ask so often.

Everything we had tasted so delicious and flavorful, even the side dishes that consisted of kimchi, fish cakes, and some chives. We kept asking for more and the employees were more than happy to keep them coming! For food, we got the bossam, sulungtang, and yukgaejang. The bossam arrived on this grill that kept it warm throughout the meal, which I can appreciate. The sulungtang and yukgaejang were both phenominal and hit the korean comfort food cravings. Get the purple rice!! Not to mention they had deals on alcohol too. I believe $5 for beer and $7 for a soju bottle -- cant beat that in this economy! Overall, the food was filling, seasoned well, and well portioned without being overly expensive. The only downside was that our waters were never refilled during the meal, although it honestly looked like there was only one server working at the time. Despite that, the service was still quick overall, and I'd definitely come back again to try some of the other items on their menu.

The meat is not too sweet like a lot of other places. It's lightly caramelized, really tender and seasoned just right. You get the sweetness from the meat, umami from the soup and everything just goes really well together. I always refill the side dishes at least twice whenever I come here. Our other combo came with galbi that was cooked really well -- smoky, tender, and slightly sweet. We also got the spicy cold noodles which had a nice chewy texture and the flavor was well balanced. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for Korean comfort food with good portions and variety. The combo meals make it easy to try different items, and I'd come back to explore more of the menu.
