The wait staff were soooo friendly! As soon as we stepped inside, our server Sunny greeted us and made small talk, even complimenting me. She was quick to take our orders, bring our dishes, and check on us/approach our table when we needed anything. She showed genuine interest and concern for us about the conversations we had. I have been coming here for years, the food is always good and fresh. We had 7 rounds of meat, the bulgogi is probably the best item on the menu, it's marinated to perfection. We chose to sit all the wait in the back away from everyone and it was very relaxing. We were able to be loud and laugh a lot without bothering anyone. This place is great for their price point. Parking can be challenging, ESPECIALLY on the weekend. There are 2 locations both on Colima so if you're meeting someone here you make sure they meet you at the correct location! We came on a Saturday at 6pm and there was no wait. This was not our first choice to celebrate Valentines, but they were the fastest to seat despite having 10+ people in line. The workers are quick, yet efficient. I love RH, I've never had to wait to get seated. The meat is good quality, the sides are great and there's plenty of seating. I literally like to try different meats but my go to are thin sliced pork belly, spicy pork bulgogi, brisket & shrimp. For $29.99 a person, we dove into the "all you can MEAT" experience, and folks, it did not disappoint!!! **Let's be clear, RH BBQ is different from RH BBQ 2 (and they are not affiliated w each other). My kids were all about the brisket (because obviously, they have excellent taste and they like to wrap it in rice paper and dip in the sauces), but I personally fell hard for the bulgogi. The sides were a delicious supporting cast. The corn cheese came out hot and sizzing like it just walked off a K drama set and knew it was the main character!! Delish!!! Service was fast and friendlier than your favorite aunt at Thanksgiving, constantly checking in to make sure we hadn't reached our meat limit and kept offering more food. By the time we rolled out, full, & happy, there was a line out the door. Great Kbbq waits for no one... but apparently, people will wait for great Kbbq. They changed our server about three times, and the girl serving us gave us terrible service the entire time. I did not feel welcomed at all. It honestly felt like my family and I were being ignored. Great Korean BBQ spot! They have a large amount of seating which is helpful with wait time. The staff was very friendly and make sure to get us seated quickly and get our drink order in. Beer, soju, and sodas and a food menu selection. Pork, beef, shrimp, and great sides like ramen rice, etc. I loved their grills because they were cast iron and didn't smoke and burn so quickly so the smoke wasn't so in my face. In need of some gains after a good workout this was one of the only KBBQ spot that was open early. I used to come here early college years and it was a bargain talkin bout $9.99! It is exactly the same, except the price. It's kinda dingy and sticky floors with not so clean chairs as we had to wipe them down even thoug they just open. The meat quality was OK, the brisket is a bit on the tougher side same as with the beef tongue. Pork belly and beef belly were the main stars as it was always part of the order. The cucumbers though, it was amazing. It was straight out of the fridge so it was refreshing after each fatty piece of meat. Service was great, she memorized our whole order without writing a single thing down. Very attentive. Although I felt bad as she was the only one waiting on the tables and there were quite a few tables. Parking. Parking here is tough as the lot is small and shared with quite a bit of other stores. Then ordered an extra set of rice paper, which we didn't get and instead they gave us normal rice. On top of that, my chopsticks packet had one chopstick in it. Not even a pair. And the sauce lid wasn't secured properly so it leaked half in the bag and in the container. They then would've qualify any of their mistakes as food items for any potential refund. RH Barbecue is easily one of my go-to lunch spots on Colima, and for good reason. Their lunch special is only $25, and you get a full spread with all the sides you'd hope for -- generous, filling, and a great value. Right now they have a great deal going: Buy a sake and get a beer included for $15. The food is consistently delicious, the sides are spot on, and the portions are worth the price.
