We went here today for Korean BBQ its our to go since my boyfriend only lives 10 min away from it but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet after we were seated, it took about 20 minutes for someone to come back and check on us. During that time, we had no meat on the table or anything to cook. The younger waitress with the ponytails was especially rude and unwelcoming. Sony, the other waitress working, was also very rude. Both of them would walk around checking on other tables and asking if they needed anything, but they seemed to completely ignore us. It honestly felt like we were being intentionally overlooked. We shouldn't have to keep trying to get someone's attention, especially when the restaurant wasn't busy. The lack of attention and the attitude from both waitresses made the experience very uncomfortable. The food may have been good, but the service completely ruined the experience for us. Tried RH BBQ for the first time recently and it exceeded our expectations! It's located in a busy plaza so parking is challenging. We came around 9pm so there was no wait at the restaurant. They have two options: regular for $29.99 or premium for $34.99. We went with premium and it was totally worth it - loved the Kalbi Short Rib. Tofu soups are usually meh at ayce kbbq but surprisingly it was good here and flavorful. The service was great and everything came out quick. We've been to this strip mall numerous times and saw RH BBQ but never went in until Sunday. Parking here can be tricky, as it's a busy parking lot and spots are relatively small. Once we walked through the front door, the hostess was friendly and seated us in front, but another staff member told us the location is quite hot, and had us moved to a more air conditioned location. We decided to get the regular option as the only option that we would have gotten from the premium would have been the galbi. We order beef brisket, beef belly, beef bulgogi, and beef steak for our first four meats. We asked for the banchans of our choice, a steamed egg, cheese corn, tofu soup, ramen, thin sliced pork belly, marinated beef belly was ordered during our meal. Everything was pretty good. The textures and flavors were nice, but the ramen was a bit off and I never seen steamed egg come in a small little sauce sized cup before. Another interesting thing about this place? They have tortillas as a side order option. I always wondered how a fusion of kbbq wrapped in a tortilla would be, but didn't try it on this visit. Maybe in the future. We did see numerous other tables placing tortillas on their grills though. Overall, RH BBQ is an excellent value and the food was decent and fresh. I have been coming here for years, the food is always good and fresh. We had 7 rounds of meat, the bulgogi is probably the best item on the menu, it's marinated to perfection. In need of some gains after a good workout this was one of the only KBBQ spot that was open early. I used to come here early college years and it was a bargain talkin bout $9.99! It is exactly the same, except the price. It's kinda dingy and sticky floors with not so clean chairs as we had to wipe them down even thoug they just open. The meat quality was OK, the brisket is a bit on the tougher side same as with the beef tongue. Pork belly and beef belly were the main stars as it was always part of the order. The cucumbers though, it was amazing. It was straight out of the fridge so it was refreshing after each fatty piece of meat. Service was great, she memorized our whole order without writing a single thing down. Very attentive. Although I felt bad as she was the only one waiting on the tables and there were quite a few tables. Parking. Parking here is tough as the lot is small and shared with quite a bit of other stores. And the sauce lid wasn't secured properly so it leaked half in the bag and in the container. They then would've qualify any of their mistakes as food items for any potential refund.
