The installers were awesome and got me going quickly. So regarding the communication issues I had with the company, things happen, people get busy and sometimes delays do occur. I'm just glad we were able to get everything resolved. Pricing, I did get a couple of additional quotes and Option One blew them out of the water. Could it be those other companies assumed I needed the parts and labor? Maybe, but I was very clear that I had the parts already. Bottom line it never hurts getting quotes and going from there. Service, so I got all the paperwork done yesterday early afternoon and was scheduled today (5/1) at 8am. I do realize there needs to be a buffer between appointment time and actual arrival time, I usually just assume an hour after the appointment time. But the techs were here at almost exactly 8am. As I have very limited knowledge on solar panels, the fact none of them fell off my roof (panels or techs) and nothing blew up, then it's safe to say they did a fantastic job. In the end my system is fixed and I'm happy. Also if I ever need work done on my system again I'm calling these guys up.

After years of getting different high pressure solar companies to come give us their spiel and then…read morenot feeling very comfortable with taking the leap into solar, we finally did it with Solar 360. The company and Sales Representative, Sherry Farrell, came highly recommended to us. Once contacting her, she was quick to respond, set up an appointment and present us with a proposal. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional, largely thanks to Sherry's outstanding efforts. Sherry's expertise and dedication were evident from our very first interaction. She took the time to thoroughly explain all the available options and made sure we understood every aspect of the installation process. Her friendly, disarming demeanor and willingness to answer all or our questions truly put us at ease and gave us the confidence in our decision to go with Solar 360. Sherry worked with our HOA to help get us through the process. She made it so easy for us. Now that the installation is complete, Sherry continues to provide us with proactive communication so we know what to expect with our energy bill and our overall system. The installation team was equally impressive, displaying professionalism and efficiency throughout. They arrived on time, worked diligently and left our property spotless upon completion. Installation only took 3 days. We are very thrilled with the results. We highly recommend Solar 360 Building Services, particularly Sherry Farrell, for anyone considering solar energy solutions. Her exceptional customer service and dedication to excellence make an invaluable asset to the company. Thank you, Sherry, and the entire 360 team for providing such a positive and rewarding experience.

Since our original review we have emailed almost every 2 weeks to be met with either no response or a message that said they will not be work with us any longer. We received a formal civil suit from the solar panel supplier demanding we pay for panels that we already paid solar 360 for. We have tried to work with that company and they too are now nonresponsive. It has been 5 months. Our battery is still broken and our system is still not operational. We have filed a complaint with the state attorney general and the state license bureau and have placed credit card disputes with the credit card company. We expect to be in arbitration soon as it seems to be our only course of action at this point.

With so many options out there for solar install companies it was all a bit confusing. After doing…read moreresearch and reading reviews some great and some absolutely terrible I decided to to give Simply Solar a call as the reviews were nothing short of great. They were very prompt with their communications which was a great start. I scheduled an appointment with William on Aug 19, 2019. Here's the thing I loved most about the salesman William. He wasn't pushy at all with getting me to sign a contract or bugging me constantly if I had made a decision. He did check in a few times if I had made a decision but again not pushy. Not sure about anyone else but I hate pushy sales people and instantly get turned off. But back to William, he is a down to earth and up front salesman. Very knowledgeable about the product he is selling and helped direct me in the right direction. If your looking for honest accurate info William is your guy. So after meeting with 2 other companies just to see what my options were. I pulled the trigger and signed on with Simply Solar. The cost was a bit higher than the others but well worth it. Next person of communications was Ashley who is in house to keep the project moving forward. From start to finish her communication and timeliness in response was excellent. Ashley was constantly on top of communications with my roofing company as I was getting both done. As soon as the new roof was on the install Techs came in. I cant remember the names of the install tech but there were 2 of them and again like everyone else at Simply Solar they were top notch. Friendly, Super careful with the new roof, and went over exactly what they were going to do. I didn't realize how quick they would get it installed in just 2 days including a panel upgrade. After that was all done Dan again who was awesome came by to finish the stucco work where they had done the new panel upgrade and made it look finished. So now everything has been installed and we are just awaiting confirmation from SCE to go live. I have heard horror stories of people waiting months to be approved for going live with their solar. Simply Solar again was on top of communication with SCE and our system was up and running in less than a week after the install. Over all I think the whole process once things got started was probably less than 2 weeks. AMAZING!!!! Its been about 6 months now since I have had the panels and im so glad we got them. The first few months we were in the hole with SCE as the days were short but now that the days are longer and more sunny were putting more into the grid and chipping away at our yearly bill. At the rate this thing is running we should be close to 0 due. If your looking to go solar and want the best service, product and experience this is your go to company.

We had our chimney…read morecleaned and after that work we had a roof leak during a rainstorm, so I contacted 3 roof contractors and told them the history of the possible damage and the following took place. First company arrives in a Tesla and then uses my ladder to climb into the attic and reports we have to have a moisture test with various monitors for possible mold and then we will have our lab provide a 16-page report.... $970. Question how much to repair the leak? We will not give a quote until you pay the $975. Thanks, and bye. Number 2, another Tesla and this fellow walks around the lawn and says we will replace the cap around the chimney box. $3500, Thanks, and bye. Number 3, Walks the roof, inspects the attic for leak and reports we must remove 4 solar panels, replace 500 square feet of plywood and replace the shingles, the damage was caused by the solar installation and with a senior discount, $8,750. Keep in mind the roof has not leaked after the solar was installed, 11 years ago. Mr. Joe installed our solar and no one will move our system but he and his crew. We call Mr. Joe, his crew arrive in a work truck with ladders, inspects the attic and finds no excessive water damage to the plywood, removes the chimney box lid, climbs inside to inspect and reports, replace the cap and you are good to go or use some sealant and flex seal first and review the results. THAT IS HONESTY, INTEGRITY AND SKILL!!! We have known Joe for 11 years and we are grateful we located he and his company and you will be too!

Will update when I hear back. Would not recommend SolarMax at this point until they improve their customer service. Look into other companies and their service reviews since you will most likely have to contact them multiple times with questions about the system/billing. They were very prompt and quick with reaching out and getting back to us when they were trying to sell us solar. However, now that we have been customers for years and our sales rep left, it takes multiple calls to even get through to customer service and then multiple follow up calls after since they have to email other departments to get an answer and do not call back. It seems like they are short staffed and for a big company like this should invest in more staff for customer service. That way they can provide the same experience we received in the beginning. It's been almost a month after I initially contacted them and my question still has not been answered. Seems like there is only one customer service rep and she definitely needs help.

My family and I had solar panels installed by SolarMax several years ago. Recently, we noticed…read morewater damage in multiple areas of our home. After inspecting the roof, I discovered a very concerning issue. When SolarMax installed the solar panels, they hired a roofing company to modify the roof beforehand. That roofing work was never properly completed, leaving a large section of the roof without shingles and exposing bare wood. As a result, there are now multiple areas of our home showing signs of water intrusion and possible mold. I immediately contacted SolarMax and informed them that this was an urgent matter requiring prompt attention. More than 24 hours have passed, and I have not received a response. I was told they would reach out to the roofing company they used, but there has been no follow-up. What I do not understand is how SolarMax could proceed with installing the solar panels, mark the job as completed, and leave our home with such a significant roofing defect. I am extremely concerned about the potential extent of the damage to our home, as well as the possible health implications for my family. I have never had allergies in the past, yet I began experiencing them shortly after the panels were installed, which raises serious concerns about mold exposure. I am hopeful that SolarMax will take responsibility for this issue and fully address both the roofing defect and any resulting damage to our home. However, I am very disappointed by the lack of communication and urgency shown so far.
