Solar

Hello there Linda helped me out in the process and she was really helpful and always picks up your phone even after the contract was signed. ( most contractors will stop picking up your phone after signing the contract ) . Linda was always professional and I hate to say I even bug her on weekends and she always gets back to me and pick up my phone to answer. Everything went smooth after contacts they got me in like 23 days. Boss naveen was also a lot of help there was couple of issues in the installation and he solved them in a quick and effective way. If you looking to get solar look no further go with nippon

The installers were awesome and got me going quickly. So regarding the communication issues I had with the company, things happen, people get busy and sometimes delays do occur. I'm just glad we were able to get everything resolved. Pricing, I did get a couple of additional quotes and Option One blew them out of the water. Could it be those other companies assumed I needed the parts and labor? Maybe, but I was very clear that I had the parts already. Bottom line it never hurts getting quotes and going from there. Service, so I got all the paperwork done yesterday early afternoon and was scheduled today (5/1) at 8am. I do realize there needs to be a buffer between appointment time and actual arrival time, I usually just assume an hour after the appointment time. But the techs were here at almost exactly 8am. As I have very limited knowledge on solar panels, the fact none of them fell off my roof (panels or techs) and nothing blew up, then it's safe to say they did a fantastic job. In the end my system is fixed and I'm happy. Also if I ever need work done on my system again I'm calling these guys up.

Everyone I spoke with was kind, patient, and took the time to explain things clearly. They also helped resolve an issue that had been left behind by a previous installer, which I really appreciated. It made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. Their pricing was very reasonable, and their response time was impressively fast. Overall, I couldn't be more grateful or happy with my experience. I highly recommend Option One Solar to anyone looking for reliable and professional service.

I am writing to formally file a complaint against UniverCity Solar LLC, located at 242 East Airport…read moreDrive, San Bernardino, CA 92408, regarding unresolved roof damage, ongoing water intrusion, broken promises, and what I believe to be negligence and misrepresentation that dates back to 2022. UniverCity Solar has visited my home on two separate occasions over the past several years to address a roof leak that developed after the installation of their solar system. During those visits, their technicians identified cracked roof tiles as the cause of the leak, repaired those tiles, and sealed the affected areas. Despite these repairs, the roof leak continued. In January 2023, I communicated directly with Aaron, a representative of UniverCity Solar, who acknowledged the damage and promised that the company would repair the interior damage caused by the leak, including repainting the roof area stained by water intrusion. Aaron repeatedly delayed this work, citing a lack of available personnel, but reassured me multiple times that the repairs would be completed. At one point, he even stated that he intended to hire a professional painter to perform the work. Trusting these assurances, I waited in good faith for over a year, during which time no repairs were made. In late 2026, heavy rains resumed and caused additional damage, including deterioration to the drywall and window sill in my dining room--the same room originally affected by the roof leak. On December 3, 2026, UniverCity Solar sent Adam to inspect the roof. At that time, they claimed to have discovered damage to a board outside the solar panel areaand abruptly stated that they were no longer responsible for any repairs. This sudden reversal is unacceptable. Regardless of any newly identified issues, UniverCity Solar previously diagnosed the leak twice as being caused by cracked roof tiles, which they stated were responsible. I relied on their expertise and professional assessment. If their current claim is that the cracked tiles were not the cause, then the company is still responsible for misdiagnosing the issue on multiple occasions, which directly resulted in delayed corrective action and increased damage. Due to the age of the damage and the prolonged delays caused by UniverCity Solar, I am now unable to file a homeowners insurance claim, as the issue is no longer considered new damage. Their failure to correctly diagnose and permanently resolve the problem has directly hindered my ability to seek insurance coverage, resulting in financial harm. Additionally, I am deeply disappointed to learn that Tim, the salesperson who sold me UniverCity Solar's services, misrepresented the company's roofing credentials. I was told that UniverCity Solar carried a full roofing license, only to be informed later by Aaron that they carry only a limited roofing license. This discrepancy further undermines my trust in the company. I am especially disheartened by this treatment given that I have provided over three referrals to UniverCity Solar, all of whom became paying customers. This level of neglect and refusal to honor written and texted commitments--copies of which I possess--is unacceptable and does not reflect the service that was promised to me. At this point, I am unsatisfied and disappointed with UniverCity Solar's conduct and believe their actions constitute negligence and potential malpractice. I am requesting that UniverCity Solar be held accountable for: * Honoring their written and verbal commitments * Repairing the interior and exterior damage caused by the roof leak * Addressing the ongoing water intrusion issue in full I processed additional complaints to the Federal Trade Commission report number 195345513 and the Better Business Bureau under the Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California division.

Thank you very much to Brian Kocher and Jackie over at SoCal Energy Group…read more Brian Kocher was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. While Jackie was persistent with communication, Brian was able to visit our property and talk to us at a time that was great for us. Brian was on time for our appointment and gave us all the information we needed to know about switching over to Solar Panels. My family will be saving hundreds of dollars a month (literally) and we owe the thanks to Brian Kocher from SoCal Energy Group for switching us over.

Buyers Beware!! We…read moreare having an awful experience with this company. They used a classic "bait and switch" technique on us. My wife and I "own" the solar panels that came attached to our new DR Horton home; however, after living in the house for one year, we decided to purchase additional solar panels from an agent we encountered at a kiosk at the local mall. The friendly sales agent visited our home a few times in an effort to convince us, because I was beginning to get a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach. With each visit, the salesman commended us on making such a wise decision to "purchase" solar panels. He discussed all the tax benefits that come along with solar panel ownership, before finally having us sign a digital contract on his hand-held device. Immediately, I asked for a copy of the contract I had just signed, but I was told that the installer would bring the contract to our home in a matter of weeks. However, weeks later, when the installers arrived they had no contract for us. They told us the contract would most likely come in the mail. (Well, it never arrived.) Now that it's February, it's time for us to prepare our taxes. Hence, we telephoned the company to inquire about when we could expect to receive solar panel tax documents. To our astonishment, we were told that we hadn't "purchased" the panels; rather, that we are "leasing" them from the company. Furthermore, the agent suggested that their company would be receiving the tax credits, not us. We rushed to our filing cabinet, in search of our contract, only to discover that it was never sent to us! We would never "lease" solar panels from anyone!! Even when we first purchased our home, we were faced the choice to either "lease" the panels that came with our home, or "purchase" them. We Purchased them. That was a No-brainer decision to make. Similarly, we would never then choose to "lease" solar panels from this new, particularly-deceptive company. We plan to fight this tooth and nail. Moreover, we would never want this to happen to anyone else. Dr. Griffin
