The explanation given was that they "don't want just anyone test driving certain cars," which was surprising and disappointing, especially after being invited to visit. As a serious buyer who had already secured financing, the requirement felt unnecessary and highly unprofessional. I was genuinely floored by the experience. For this to come from a national company made it even more shocking. Lesson learned.

While all the mechanics were busy Ronnie took time to research this annoying issue and found a service bulletin that said to adjust the strike plates alignment, then because that didn't do the trick he looked inside the door mechanism and found the door wasn't releasing because the upper latch needed adjustment, there is only one adjustment bolt he showed me and then fixed it. He proceeded to educate me on my new NV and helped me understand other things. Ronnie is to be commended for his superb customer service and attention to detail. All kinds of debris was in the glove compartment. I called the manager and he really didn't have much to say.
