Since the prior owner sold the business, things have gone way downhill there. Take my advice and never bring your vehicle to this place. They don't deserve your business.

Jeremy told us that wasn't the case and showed us how good the brake pads were still and explained where the noise we had heard was coming from. He said we didn't need the work done, so we decided to get the oil changed! He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. We are so lucky to have stumbled on to this place. Honest and so friendly.

Another issue that happened with them was my other car was brought in to fix my heat and they didn't fix the fuel pump, which led to all my gas leaking out. Under no circumstances should you go here. A warning to Subaru owners: Do not take your vehicles to A & A The Shop!!!!…read moreMy car was towed to A & A for repair. They failed to check that my car was locked in their lot. As a result, someone got into my car and totally trashed the interior! After chasing the person out of my car and despite seeing the extensive damage to the interior, they did not notify me or my husband! Total negligence on their part while trying to place the blame on the tow truck company! The owner REFUSED to pay for the cleaning and sanitizing of my car saying, "I didn't cause the damage, the homeless guy did!" I had my car towed to another repair shop and had to file a claim with my insurance company to pay for the cleaning and sanitizing of the interior which cost $350! A & A lied about so many of the mistakes they made regarding my car and despite us being long time customers, they were totally uninterested in making the situation right or in keeping us as customers! This business is totally unethical and was not willing to accept any responsibility for their negligence!!!

I included the header flanges with bolts and gaskets. After ten days, I checked in since I had heard NOTHING. I was told he didn't have the correct flange to connect it to the existing muffler. Did he order one? No. Had anyone called me? No. So I told him I would get one myself. A few days later, I delivered two flanges, just in case! Four days later, the project is done. Did he screw the hanging O2 sensor back in? Nope, just left it hanging. So, we had a small exhaust leak until we got home. THIS: 200 dollars per hour. Special equipment? No. Special training? No. Parts in stock? No. High-tech computer diagnosis? No. Amazing welding? No, but sufficient. $200 per hour? Yes. Final cost - over 700 dollars. When I asked our front guy, he told me the owners set the prices and that he's just doing his job (collecting the money). Tristen, the welder, nice enough guy, friendly, competent. But it is amazing that the owners believe their work and shop is so precious that they demand that kind of hourly rate for muffler work. To be fair, I noted later that it is posted in a small frame behind the counter. But even at that price, this service did not come close to $200 per hour. Would other specialized services that require a 10K+ diagnostic computer, subscription, and experience, etc., justify it? Perhaps. But pipe bending and welding? No. To be clear, Tristen's work was fine after I provided all the parts, but the pipe This kind of blanket rate is what tells customers to keep shopping if you need exhaust work done in a timely and fair way... and don't forget you'll be charged an extra 3% for using your CC. ;-)

So its ok. Elliot and the rest of the guys have always been curteous and honest regarding charges. I notice there are some negative reviews here in life people cannot always be perfect at the end of the day, and a lot depends on your williness to be patient and to give the shop the time to do the work - if you leave it to the last minute to get work done you run the risk of there not being enough time to do the job or creating a safety issue for them.

I returned to the shop expecting the owner to inspect the issue and provide a reasonable solution, but instead, he became extremely upset and angry. Rather than taking responsibility and trying to help a customer who had already paid for a service, he chose to argue and become aggressive. A business should stand behind its work and treat customers with respect. I am very disappointed with the quality of the repair and especially with the way I was treated.
