I had my vehicle's windshield repaired at this shop about 5 months ago. Unfortunately, the repair did not last, and the windshield is now having problems again. I returned to the shop expecting the owner to inspect the issue and provide a reasonable solution, but instead, he became extremely upset and angry. His attitude was unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility and trying to help a customer who had already paid for a service, he chose to argue and become aggressive. A business should stand behind its work and treat customers with respect. I am very disappointed with the quality of the repair and especially with the way I was treated. I would not recommend this shop to anyone based on my experience. read more

So far so good! Phase 1 of the repair to my daughter's Mercedes C300 is done. I called from a recommendation from a buddy from Muffler City. He gave me Senior's Automotive as a reliable reputable garage for foreign cars. I called, they looked up the car's motor vehicle vin from the License Plate on file with DMV, and the issue is one of her windshield wipers wasn't working. I thought the motor went bad. He said there's only one motor not two like I thought in the vehicle specs. So it's probably a linkage issue, you know the connection between the two wipers something happened. Next day brought it down and under an hour later said it's fixed, but temporarily, it should get her by until we order a replacement part. So Phase 2 Next: Ordering the part and having them fix it fully. (Will update review when completed). Nice to know they diagnosed and fixed it temporarily till the parts ordered come in and they can finish the job right. So far impressed. read more

I took my car here for a new water pump system ??? Pete told me that I needed one back in June, and I waited until September with no issues the entire summer. I am a young woman and don't know much about auto mechanics; however, I wish that I had read some reviews before I chose one or that someone has told me that this situation could possibly happen. Brought my car in on a Tuesday and was told it would be done in the next day or two. Picked it up Thursday afternoon. Drove it less than ten miles, and it overheated and battery died. Barely made it off the highway to a side street. Had to call a tow truck and have it towed to the shop. I paid at first but eventually, I was reimbursed. The friend who was with me had to walk a mile in the rain with my dog home and I got a ride with the tow truck. The mechanic did not fully screw on a couple of bolts and caused the damage. It was 100% their fault. They admitted that. Car sat there for a week for a $22 part that he could not get from in state. I had a friend staying at my place watching my dog while I was out of town and he was stranded without a car his ENTIRE TIME HERE. I am a teacher and had to take $30 Ubers to work twice a day and was out hundreds of dollars. He apologized when I went to get it, but it hardly was enough. I'm not mad anymore because there is nothing that I can do, but I suggest going somewhere else. This was such a monumental financial burden and time suck. I feel like I should've been comped for some of the work or the cost of all the Ubers, but Pete's response to me asking was, "No, mam." I don't have any resentment at this point, but just want to warn other people to try somewhere else or get something in writing about what they will do if they don't fully fix the problem. I don't have a lot of money and this has affected my life :( read more

Pete and his crew provide quality service at reasonable prices. They are good for everything from a basic oil change to more serious work on your vehicle. It's hard to trust some mechanics these days, but you can rest easy when doing business with seniors. Brought in one car for steering shaft replacement. Had to come back as it was rubbing and squeaking. They got it right , so far , on the second try. Brought second car in for steering shaft and new tire exchange. Within 24hrs one tire is flat 15# pressure. Fill it up and next day another is flat and the one I filled is at 20#. I'm in Willow and it takes an hour to find someone to fill them up. Sems the stems are bad. They were fine when I brought it in. I get it things happen but to have to bring two different cars back in to get it right within 10 days is not ok. On top of it I get attitude. Don't come here unless you got time to go back and forth until they get it right. read more

Fuel pump replaced on 04 Honda Odyssey. Repair was done well. Unfortunately lift gate was pushed in from bumper pushing it or someone backed into it while there??. They claim no responsibility. Beware and check for body damage before leaving. Take pictures before and after. read more

Had car in to replace front rotors and wheel bearings. Took over a day for them to do the job and they charged about 50% more on parts than what they cost retail (ex: rotor retail $63.99, their charge $111.00). I drove the car for about 12 miles after the repairs when there was a jerk to the right and smoke was coming out of the wheel well. I lost control trying to get to the shoulder, fortunately I was only doing 40-45 mph and no one was beside me. Had the car towed back to Senior's and had to wait another day before it was fixed. Was told the bearing spacer was missing and must of "fell out during reassembly". No mention of them paying for the tow or for my inconvenience having to bring the car back and being without for another day. Will never go there again. read more

My son had a drivers test and I didn't have a front license plate. I know a complete duhhh moment. I was told to try Senior Automotive behind the DMV. They not only were extremely nice, but supplied bolts and installed the new plates. I would highly digest them based off their kindness. I will be using them. read more

I was told by a muffler shop to give Senior Automotive a call to have a diagnostic done on my vehicle. We recently purchased a used vehicle from a not-so-honest dealer and had a check engine light come on the day after we purchased it. We took it in to have it looked at and they were fast at finding the problem and answered our questions about our options on repairing it. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who felt for us getting duped. They told us to call with any questions we have and that's just awesome. My family has been using Senior Automotive for all of our repair work, tire changes and oil changes (on four different vehicles) for several years. Today we terminated our relationship with this company and we will NOT be using their services ever again. I am sad to be writing this negative review because in some ways this is a good company. I believe them to be good mechanics who charge fair prices. But I cannot tolerate OBNOXIOUS, deliberately RUDE, and STUPID behavior. Here's what happened when I showed up today for a seasonal tire change and fluids maintenance... I made an appointment for 1:00pm. I'm ALWAYS on time. When I hopped out of my car, it was exactly 1:00pm. Maybe by the time I reached the office it was 1:01pm; maybe. When I walked in, Pete told me it would be at least an hour wait because they'd just taken in another car. There was no one entering the garage bay, and no one waiting in the reception area, so they'd have had to have aken that car into the garage several minutes before I arrived - just BEFORE 1:00pm, which means they chose to disregard my appointment. I was nice about it and re-scheduled for 2:00pm that same day. I had to switch an appointment due to their delay, but I'm loyal to businesses that I like and didn't want to make a fuss. When I returned at 2:00 (on the nose), Pete was behaving like he was angry. I said (nicely), "You know I had an appointment, right?" He replied: "Yeah. At 1:00. You got here at 1:05. We don't WAIT for anyone." He even made a snotty face and gesture at me as he said those words. O...M...G...! In reply, I said,"Your clock is fast, because I walked in here at exactly 1:00, and when I sat down to try to re-schedule my next appointment my phone said 1:04 and we'd already been talking for a few minutes. And before that, I had to wait a couple minutes for someone to come to the front desk (even going in and out again to make the bell ring a second time). So there's no way I was five minutes late." Pete insisted his clock was correct. I said that my phone can't be wrong because it's automatically set. The mechanic eating his lunch behind the desk started laughing at this point. I have no idea if he was laughing at how ridiculous Pete was being, or if he was laughing because I was being so rational about it. In any case, I'm thinking this can't be real because even IF Pete were telling the truth, and even if his clock were correct, they'd STILL taken that other car back to the garage just minutes before my appointment, which means that even though they are unapologetic about being quite late themselves, they don't afford customers even a one minute grace period. That's the best case scenario for Pete, but even then, it's BS because iPhones keep reliable time. Anyway... I was still being calm and polite, but Pete shoved the service slip at me and walked out of the room. I signed it and put my keys on the counter. By 2:08 he still hadn't returned. I had no idea if he intended to service my car, or continue with his weird tantrum, or punish me with a lengthy wait. But it occurred to me that this kind of behavior is outrageous and completely unacceptable. I didn't want him to service my car, so I left. I will never return. I took my car, my husband's car, my mom's car, and my mom-in-law's cars with me. I also took with me my good opinion of them. I am at a loss for why any small business would wantonly alienate their friendly, loyal customers, or so casually lose four customers in one day over something so bizarre. In the past, I've enthusiastically recommended this business to people, but I can no longer vouch for their professionalism. Mistakes are easily forgiven. But this kind of creepy, and abusive behavior is a deal-breaker. Who wants to show up at their mechanic's not knowing whether they will be greeted warmly or subjected to a game of silly harassment.
