I had the Philly steak sandwich which was delicious albeit somewhat light on the steak. The fresh fries were some of the best I've had. Ordered a chicken gyro yesterday- and PAID for extra Tzatziki sauce- as it was clearly written in bold on the order. I also wanted the tomatoes and onions. What I got was a gyro with NO sauce- none on it or on the side. And thy seemed to have skipped the onions. This is NOT the first time this has happened. They are charging sit down prices for service that's subpar to McDonald's. It would awesome for them to make it right- I'll change this- but how? read more

Came here for dinner and the location can be easily missed if you're not looking for it carefully. The parking set up is in the back and the entrances are situated from the back. The bathroom are a bit weird as the men's and women's bathroom are situated both in the back hallways on opposite sides. Half of the restaurant is shared with Carvel so if you want dessert right after, it's right there. The area is well ventilated and has AC running, though you can eat outside if you want to. They offer a lot of burger options and we opted for BBQ burgers and island burger (it is just a regular cheeseburger with thousand island dressings). The cool part is that you get to add your own toppings (some are free, others are extra). The burgers weren't anything extraordinary but very good decent burgers done right. We also opted for some cheesy bacon fries and curly fries. They were done just right, not too salty. read more

They'll literally prepare any style of burger, anything you want, and the food is always consistent. Heard about this place from a good friend who told me about a Mac and cheese burger with bacon and I had to give it a try. I ordered that and waffle fries. The fries were probably the best that I've ever had, I didn't even use ketchup on them, just gobbled them down how they came. The burger was delicious as well but slightly dry with all that Mac and cheese. Next time I'll ask for some hot sauce on it or a little bit of ketchup if they don't have that. Nice little spot out front to eat if you don't want to take it home or eat in the car. Prices are reasonable and plenty of parking with easy in and easy out. read more

I stopped by over a week ago since I haven't been there in a couple of years. The restaurant wasn't busy and they had a good amount of employees working behind the counter. I ordered my food and went to get a drink. Once I went to the soda fountain it wasn't clean counter was sticky and soda splattered everywhere. I went to grab a seat and all the tables were available but one. It was very difficult to find a seat or table that was clean. Either there was ice cream, food or crumbs on the tables and seats. I had to clean my own table. Before covid they always had someone wiping down the benches and table. The food was good but I can only imagine if they don't clean the are you eat what about the cleaning where they prepare the food. I wasn't going to leave a review but I never heard back from the owner after sending an email. I'll give them a try in the future but hopefully things change. read more

What a great burger joint. I would've given them 5 stars, but for two things. I saw they had gyros, but when I inquired, they had only chicken or beef. Gyros are supposed to be lamb. That and they got my order incorrect, I ordered a Philly steak and I got a chicken Philly. However, it was so delicious, I didn't even notice until I had eaten half of it and the kid at the counter was so pleasant and enthusiastic, I just didn't want to bring him down. The place is well lit and very very clean. In addition, it's combi Ed with a Carvel ice cream sho, both of which share a common dining area. My order came up fast and very hot. The condiments were organized and mai Tain's, again very clean. They have a choice of three different fries with your meal. I had the curly fries. Despite the error, I recommend this establishment and will return for the high quality food and fast, friendly service. read more

I actually came here because I wanted to go to Five Guys but was too lazy to go to Shelton for some, and I had wanted to try this place for a while. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, and it hit the spot. The fries are not obscenely portioned, but they're also not half soggy either, so it's a win. Great food whether you want hot dogs or hamburgers. You can put a bunch of items on your burger with no added charge, but we all know that they're added into the cost. The place is spacious and you can have a nice ice cream sundae after you slobbered over yourself in delight. When you're waiting for your food they give you a device that lets you know your food is up. There are lots of umbrella tables if you choose to eat outside, and the establishment is AC'ed if you choose to eat inside. Plenty of parking in the back. Not easy to get in and out of the restaurant due to the traffic on New Haven Road. read more

Meh, not so much. Maybe I am a burger snob, but I totally disagree that this is in the ballpark with 5 Guys. You can tell the burgers are frozen, and not freshly made. I would actually put this on par with McDonald's, and would only recommend this if you had the time to sit down and eat, and wanted an alternative to McD's. And maybe it was because we went around their grand opening, but the Carvel ice cream tasted fake - like alternative sweetener and not real sugar. would it kill these guys to actually give boxes or containers for the take out? i mean really is it that expensive? and why is it that every time i buy fries from here, they're inedible? i've tried every type of fries they have. they're all just those super hard and inedible crunchy fries that most people throw away. with these guys, probably 5-10% of the fries are edible. it's a shame. they have good sandwiches and good service and the place is nice. but as long as the owners pinch pennies on containers and garbage french fries i can't recommend this place. read more

My husband and I went to G's Burgers today for the first time. From the minute I walked into this restaurant I knew I was in for a treat. Immaculate, bright, friendly staff, terrific menu, reasonable pricing and the best Philly Steak I have had to date. My husband ordered "The Hangover" Burger with fried egg/bacon and he enjoyed it very much. Since I have been ice cream free since Nov 1 I decided today was the day to indulge and I had an ice cream cone. Love he offers specials for the ice cream. Today was buy one get one free sundae. I was tempted but had to stick with a lower carb dessert . We live in Derby and will be making more trips to this wonderful place. Great job to the owner. Great burger place! Probably the best in the Tuck outside of some of the better bar and grill places. I've been there about six times in two years and was never let down.
