This place was so weird. We walk in and sat ourselves. Found our own menus and after waiting 10 minutes realized it was self service. Ordered on our phones and didn't realize the $18 burger didn't come with sides. Went to the bar to order drinks and they were out of the first 4 options we ordered. Got a flat as hell Mille light and switched it out for something else. The bartenders were super nice with the beer swap but it's such a weird experience and very off putting. read more

I've been to brewbury a few times and it's always been excellent! We stopped in for happy hour and enjoyed appetizers and drinks. Zack was our bartender/server and I have to say he makes the best margarita I've had in a long time! He mentioned they use good quality lime juice and it makes all the difference. Breweries usually aren't known for their mixed drinks so I was pleasantly surprised as I'm not much of a beer drinker. For food we enjoyed the brewin' onion, made in-house, fresh not too salty and well seasoned. We also had lemon pepper wings and buffalo wings. My only critique is the lemon pepper is very very salty. Buffalo was delicious, very good sauce. Wings are great quality, fresh and meaty. Great prices, what a happy hour should be! Excellent service from Zach and the other staff, they were on top of everything. They have tables and plenty of bar seating, they also have a very nice patio. We asked the waiter why there was a smell and he stated they just laid fresh mulch. When we left, we looked at the surrounding beds and there was no fresh mulch or landscaping work done anywhere on the premises. I've been to Brewbury many times over the years, and it's always been a great place for a night out with good food and drinks. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a real disappointment. To our surprise, they've made some major changes. It's now essentially self-service. You have to order all of your food through your phone, and if you want any type of drink, you have to get up and go to the bar yourself. I'm not sure what the owners or managers were thinking with this new setup, but for us it completely changed the experience. Part of what made Brewbury enjoyable was the table service and relaxed atmosphere. Now it feels much less welcoming and convenient. To make matters worse, there was an unpleasant smell throughout the building as soon as we walked in. It's not something you expect--or want to experience--when entering a place that serves food. It may be worth investing in a better cleaning service or addressing whatever is causing the odor. Sadly, these changes have lost me as a customer, and judging by the conversations we had that evening, they've lost several others as well. I hope they reconsider this approach because it has taken away what made Brewbury such an enjoyable place to visit. read more

This is a fun space with plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating and games. The drink and food selections are good, the mozzarella bites are so good! Cocktails are okay but nothing special. Service is pretty inconsistent, both times it felt like the servers were more worried about socializing than actually serving, even though it was not busy either time. read more

No game audio. So, strike one. Nice staff, but service can be slow and inattentive. Outdoor space is nice. TVs out there too. Indoor ambiance is meh. Lighting is too bright. And the thunk-thunk from the Pop-a-Shot can get annoying. A lot of TVs, but too many with redundant games. TVs Food is forgettable, as are the beers they brew. Stick with Modelo. Best thing might be a guy who works there who dresses like DJ Khaled. We think he's some kind of manager. Maybe a relative of the owner? He is fascinating to watch. For a local establishment that promotes itself as World Cup central, I have yet to see it open for knock-out round matches, including the last 2 USA games. My time spent at Brewbury was terrific. From the minute I walked in and sat down, I was greeted by staff that was kind and helpful. My bartender, Jenn, was superb and delivered an elevated service I rarely encounter. The cocktail glass was taken directly from the freezer and had a hollow, stubby stem. The drink was briskly shaken, strained into the glass, and tasted perfect. The Castelvetrano olives used to garnish the beverage added a sophisticated touch and were delicious. As an olive lover, I asked for more and was delighted when Jenn delivered me a shot glass full of olives to add to my drink; this was exceptional and highly appreciated. In addition to martinis, this establishment specializes in beer. They brew six at a time and have nine on tap. I sampled a few and, again, was highly impressed. The ambiance is casual, yet sophisticated. It features pool tables, basketball, and copious amounts of televisions that display content for everyone. You can even invest in a growler to take homemade beer to go. The food was served hot and fast from the kitchen. The wings, pizza, and fries were all fantastic. read more

Stopped in with wife and son on a Beer Passport adventure. FOOD: Perogies themselves were good, but the accompanying sour cream and scallion oil that was poured over the top was not. They should have served it separately in a small ramekin, giving you the opportunity to dip if needed. My Chicken Avocado BLT was good, but if not eaten quickly, the bread began to fall apart? The Barria Taco Melt had the potential of being pretty good, but the Tortillas were slightly burnt, and the dish as a whole was a little dry and lacked flavor. It needed a better dipping sauce? or perhaps some sort of Salsa mixture to bring out some freshness. The Beer selection was minimal at best and none of their beers stood out as being very tasty, with a majority of their beer pours that I observed being "headless" (improper storage, Co2 pressure?) SERVICE: Our server (B) was ok, but it seemed like the entire wait staff had just gotten over with training (not a well-oiled machine). AMBIANCE: Great neighborhood location. Nice interior with plenty of T.V's but some of the channels with the same football game on were not in sync which was a bit annoying. Recommended only if in a pinch. read more

We had a double header in Middlebury and searched for restaurants to eat at afterwards. Brewbury has great reviews and was only a mile and a half from the field (which happened to be diagonal from Quassy as well) so we decided to try it out. The menu is good size including a little something for everyone. Classic offerings included grilled cheese, chicken tenders and salads while other items had a delicious twist to them like the friend pretzel with rosemary. The place was large and not too busy upon arrival. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside there are a few arcade games as well as two pool tables. It's only $2 to play a round of pool something that my kids enjoyed. There were also multiple tvs broadcasting all types of sporting events and a strange little cartoon. Lights hung from the ceiling giving the restaurant a nice atmosphere. We start off with drinks and apps. I tried the espresso martini flight for fun. It came we 3 small martini glasses and 3 different flavors; butterscotch, cherry and one with sprinkles on top. It was cute and a fun experience. The mozzarella bites were absolutely delicious. My kids who didn't dare touched them ate a ton. They reminded me of cheese curds. The fried rosemary pretzel was served with a honey mustard and classic nacho cheese. The rosemary gave the flavor a kick and the pretzel was delicious. Next came the Nacho Burger. Delicious; jalapeños, cheese, tortillas, and pico YUM. It comes with avocado as well but sadly I'm not an avocado fan. I upgraded my fries to sweet potato fries and they were delicious as well. We also ordered a caprese wrap. I loved every bite. It was the perfect cool summer lunch on a hot day. After we finished eating the kids had to have dessert. We ordered two brownie sundae's and a make your own s'mores station. The brownies in the brownie sundae's were warm, extra chocolatey and worth every penny. The s'mores station on the other hand was "fun" but not worth the money at all. For $18 you get 2 Hershey bars, 1 pack of graham crackers split in half, and maybe 10 marshmallows. For a product cost of maybe $4 paying $18 seems a bit much. Needless to say we experienced it once and won't again. Anywho we would return for the food and the experience. Not only do they brew their own beer but we learned they also own a vineyard and offer their wines by the glass or bottle as well. This place is definitely one you will enjoy. read more

I went to Brewbury last night with two friends. The bartender asked to see our IDs and scanned them. We are all over 21, and I am almost 22. She brought back the IDs after looking at them for 5 minutes, and she told us they were fake. There were multiple other people our age at the bar, drinking. A strange coincidence that just our IDs failed. The place was also filthy. We went next door to Pies, which is always better. Never going to Brewbury again. read more

The food is disgusting, the staff are terrible at their jobs, and the younger owner is one of the rudest people I've been unfortunate enough to have interacted with. It's loud, boring, and trashy. Brewbury sits adjacent to Vyne, their sister fine dining restaurant and event venue. They are of the same Yimoyines operations, yet Brewbury is the more casual, family-friendly space. When you walk in, your eyes go directly to their expansive bar. It looks like something straight out of midtown Manhattan. It sits in the middle of everything, with 360 degree seating, surrounded by their 30 televisions. I see ample space for game days/nights, mingling with strangers, and an all around good time. To the right are their huge distillery containers, as they brew their own beers, courtesy of brewmaster, Jim. In addition to beer and wine, they also have a fully stocked bar with a large selection of spirits AND slushies! I love a good adult slushie so when I first saw those machines churning away, I was excited. They offer a full menu, including a variety of small and large plates, salads, wraps, flatbreads and desserts. Not everything is fried, and there are plenty of vegetarian options available, which is a plus. Noah was tending bar this evening, and as with all of the bartender, he was very attentive and nice. Chavez, Nick and Shelby, are also really great bartenders here. If you're unsure of what to choose, ask away and they will certainly hone in on your desired bevy and dish. The brewery is open to families until 10p, when they become a 21+ establishment. Brewery Brunch is also an option every Sunday. Their wings are really good, as are their beers. My fave would have to be both their Haka Time pilsner, and their Backdoor Cover stout. Purchase a 1 or 2 L growler for $8/$16, and take home you choice of artisinal brew on tap. This is a great place to visit to unwind, relax, play some pool, and have some good food and drinks. The kiddos can keep occupied with their arcade games. I happen to arrive early for an event next door at their event space and needed something to nosh on after the drive. I had the opportunity to visit Brewbury previously for a private event, so I wasn't opposed to stopping in again. Brewbury sits adjacent too and shares a parking lot with Vyne. A fabulous event space and venue by the same owners. However, Brewbury is more of an everyday spot with a casual family-friendly atmosphere. Think neighborhood bar, meets brewery, meets sports bar with arcade games and lounge area. The space accommodates all with a centered wraparound bar, pool tables, and plenty of TVs throughout. To the left you will find the couches for lounging along with the pool tables and arcade games. To the right are their distillery containers, where they brew their own beers. You will find tubing apparatuses running along the ceiling above leading to the taps. In addition to beer and wine they have a fully stocked bar with a large selection as well as a full food menu. With an array of wings, salads, wraps, flatbreads and bar snacks. On this evening we sat @ the 360 bar where we had the pleasure of being assisted by Noah who was very attentive. Not wanting to over indulge, I went with a split order of wings. Half "lemon pepper" and half "mango habanero" with a side of ranch for dipping. The wings were cooked well as requested and the lemon pepper was on point, a dry rub, thankfully not overly salty. Unfortunately I was not as big of a fan of the mango habanero. A wet wing that didn't pack any heat from the habanero and slightly too sweet w/o a significant mango taste. For drinks, I am not much of a beer connoisseur, however I have enjoyed both of their Transfusion - Tito's cocktail with ginger simple syrup, lemon & grape juice, and a splash of club soda. & Piña Colada - Malibu, piña juice, crème de coco. Rarely do I give a restaurant a 3 star rating another chance but hey I'm a loving guy. I came here over July 4th weekend and got seated promptly. For those of you who have never been to Brewbury it's decorated like a brew pub. Lots of screens, cool looking brewing equipment and some fun arcade games for the kids and adults alike. Last time I came here I was disappointed in the food but since then they have changed chefs and really got things together. Service was quick and efficient. They have standard pub fare. The brewbury pizza was just outstanding. Our table got a few but the oink oink buzz buzz was so good. The spicy meats and the drizzle of honey...it was just a party for my mouth. Wings were great. Three people in my party ordered them. My brother wished they had a nuclear option for the hot wings. We opted for wine that night and no beer but their beers are good as I had them before. The bar scene in here is great. Overall it was a great night and some great food. It's a nice option so close to my house. read more

First time here and they made a terrible first impression. We went in the early evening. We asked for the high top table but the hostess sat us at a low table because it was too difficult to get to the high top table. We sat for a long while as staff just walked by us not acknowledging us. Finally our waiter came over and told us he would be right back. Our waiter was the only person that was taking care of tables walking back and forth, while other staff were just walking around talking to each other and not helping anyone. The place was not busy at all. We finally ordered our drinks, appetizers, and our meals because we could tell everything was going to take a long time. I asked for an entree and I was told they were out of it. After asking for two more entrees I was told they were also out of it. I asked the waiter what they had left and he went to confirm. After he told me what they had left I was finally able to order an entree. After waiting another really long time because our waiter was the only person bringing out food for his other tables some of our drinks came out. The waiter had to make our drinks because the bartender was just talking to someone not paying attention. Our entrees began coming out before the appetizers. I told the server we didn't have our appetizers yet and he said one of the appetizers was delayed because it was burnt. He then brought out either the same burnt appetizer or another one that was burnt because it was terrible. The rest of the entrees came out and they were not good. By this point we just wanted to leave. I asked for the check and told the waiter how unhappy we were with our experience. He apologized and got the manager. I explained everything to him and he just apologized. He didn't offer to take off the burnt appetizer or an appetizer if we come back to try them again or even a drink. He just sorry and thanks for letting him know. We paid our bill and left the waiter a fair tip because the terrible experience was not his fault. The other staff, kitchen staff and manager were the problem. Not sure how they would get through the rest of the evening with two entrees left. We will never return. Terrible business. I hope the waiter can find a better place to work. read more

Our first time here. The food was very good however the service was super slow. Kids' meals and appetizer weren't too long of a wait but then we waited another 30 minutes for our meals. We ordered the kids' ice cream when we got our meals and had to ask for them again which took another 30 minutes to get. We had to ask for things several times and they didn't always return with itAlso , don't like that 4 adults and 2 children are considered a large group and 20% tip is automatically added to the bill. My husband loves beer and loves trying original brews. When we arrived we were greeted by a great bartender name Chavez. He was very attentive and good at his job. The beers on the other hand wasn't great, their sour was not good. I had to slam down the 5oz pour. The DIPA my Husband sampled was disappointing that he could've even finish it. So I would say don't get beers here. The highlight of the afternoon was the wings. You can get 2 flavors in one batch of 12 which is a bonus. We tried their sweet chili and dry rub. Chrissy our server was great. Very attentive. She gets 4 stars. Overall, the food and beer is lacking. Beer tasted watery. The "stout" didn't taste like one. Jerome the amber was palatable as was the cider. We ordered the flat bread and when you saw it; it just looked unappetizing. Too much cheese and just looked thrown together. My friends "Philly cheese steak" looked like it was made of hamburger. Not actually sliced steak. My friends enjoyed the apple strudel dessert. Second time visiting Brewbury and it did not disappoint. Met up with a friend for a small bite and drinks to catch up on life and to check out brewbury for a possible gathering as is a perfect venue to get together as there's something for everyone. We shared the nachos and we added chicken for extra protein. My friend and I both opted for a glass of Prosecco. It was chilled to perfection that we had two glasses . I had the smash burger and the wife had the chicken sandwich, was awesome. Cooked excellent and the light beer was perfect! Loved sitting outside for dinner as well. The amazing part is the staff. Our waitress was so attentive and nice. Then there was Jordan, what a great guy and he made sure we had everything we wanted. We mentioned when sitting down my wife had back surgery. Jordan came over a little while later asking if my wife was comfortable and if she needed anything. Wow! Cauliflower Crust Pizza is very good, wings are always soggy and undercooked (ordered well done). Excellent outdoor bar, mixed drinks are way overpriced for a sports bar and the homemade beer is not good at all. They do have bottled beer and other name brands that are reasonably priced. read more

We had an informal engagement celebration here a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. Alyssa was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. I underestimated how much food we would need and underordered. They threw more pizzas and wings together at the last minute and they were delicious. It's quite loud inside but definitely a fun place with some games, bunch of TVs and a great craft beer selection paired with a full bar Appetizer - Mac and cheese bites. They weren't bites. They're huge. Very tasty and served with a side of Buffalo sauce. I ordered the all American burger with some add-ons. It was a very good burger. Cooked the way I wanted with a toasted pretzel bun. The side order of fries was extremely small though. 5 or 6 fries. My wife ordered the burrata salad. She enjoyed it. Decent size salad. For dessert we got deep fried Oreos. They were good.
