The place has the feel of a local neighborhood pub which has finished wood walls, flooring, & ceiling. There is seating at the full service bar, table seating along the walls, pool table in the back, a musician/karaoke stage in the front corner and TVs throughout the room. There is a patio area out back. They offer nightly entertainment such as DJs, karaoke (Tue), trivia (Wed), and live music. The food menu offers pub fare including appetizers, wings, chips & dips, salads, burger/sandwich plates, quesadillas, tacos, chicken & waffles, pasta, steaks, and desserts. The prices are moderate. The bar offers 12 beers on draft, beer bottles/cans, wine, cocktails & mixed drinks. I stopped by Fonzi's for dinner very recently. I sat up at the bar for prompt service. I got an ice water as I looked over the menu. For an appetizer, the Fried Raviolis ($12 plus tax) had 6 good size fried breaded raviolis filled with cheese including ricotta & seasoning) over a zesty marinara sauce. For dinner, the Basic Bit*h Burger ($18 plus tax) had a thick grilled beef patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, & pickle chips on a thick kaiser bun. The fries were lightly fried and very hot. Both the fried raviolis and thick juicy burger were very good and fries were decent. After I was done, I got the check with Upserve QR code, which was $32.10 with tax and before tip. I was able to pay the check on my phone, as the place was getting busier around 6:30 pm. The service was prompt sitting at the bar and I was able to watch some sports highlights on the TV. I would definitely come back here to try other food on their menu like the coconut shrimp, tacos, and cheese tortellini gratinati with chicken.

Went with the Tenderloin Tip which were perfectly prepared and accompanied with fries and green beans. The Old Fashion was good but lacking the craft ice that really makes an Old Fashion or any cocktail needing us. The noise level was high, but nothing out of the ordinary for a tavern. Somehow they manage to make it feel both healthy and a little decadent. We also love the flatbreads and deserts, and the chicken sandwich and burgers have been great as well - really can't miss. The only thing really missing is a few more solid vegetarian protein options - it would be wonderful to be able to get a grilled tofu steak on that Asian Quinoa Salad. Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

Jaime's was just a short detour from our route and well worth it. From the moment we walked in, the place had the feel of a neighborhood restaurant that locals probably don't think twice about--but visitors are glad they discovered. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout our meal. We started with the hummus appetizer, which was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. My partner ordered the fish tacos, while I went with the Fried Spicy Honey Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was outstanding--crispy chicken with just the right balance of sweetness and heat. It's the kind of sandwich I'd happily order again. One amusing moment came when I ordered a Manhattan. I don't think the bartender was normally behind the bar, because he had to look up the recipe before making it. It turned out just fine, and I suspect they have dedicated bartenders working the evening shift. Jaime's may be a little off the beaten path, but that's part of its charm. Good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere made this an easy five-star stop. We'll definitely keep it in mind the next time we're headed through the area.
