The car was in good shape but they did find a few suggestions to upgrade the ride and safety, such as old tires were starting to dry rot, and breaks needed maintenance. The staff on the phone and in person was very friendly. They got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I was able to walk down to Sandie's Restaurant and grab lunch while waiting. I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

Replace radiator fan with the one in the trunk. 2. Check the transmission fluid and replenish if needed. 3. Find electrical short in the driver door that controls the alarm that reminds you that the ignition key is still in the switch. Weeks later he called to tell me was still waiting on the "fan" to arrive so he could put it in. Also, that he had to flush out the transmission and replace all the seals due to the fluid "being burnt up". And that after "hours and hours" of looking he could not find the short. I called him back to remind him that the replacement fan was in the trunk, the transmission fluid was fine when I drove the car to him, and I had told him exactly where to find the short. He then said that the fan would not fit (two separate auto stores said it was an "exact match"). He stated that the fluid was "gummy" and he still did not know where the short was. When I paid the bill, He had charged me $1100.00 for labor alone, not counting parts. He is either completely incompetent or a crook, OR BOTH!
