I always stop by San Jacinto to visit my grandma and could never find a good pizza spot until we tried Grumpy Tom's Pizza. My family ordered the salad, wedge fries, and of course the pizza. we have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years. They have always had the best pizza in Southern California. Friday we ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and salad. When we picked up our order Friday afternoon and got we found out all we got was pepperoni no sausage made a call and of course bring it back. Well of course why didn't you check before you it pasta salad was a half a can of black, sliced olives. You could not the salami if you wanna call it that. The environment is very nice and inviting. They have a few games for the family to play while waiting for the food. It was very well lit and really clean. Then entire staff was super nice, and friendly. They really made my experience an even better one. I think the prices are reasonable compared to the portion sizes. Sadly there is a noticeable decrease in quality after the change in management a few months ago. This was our go-to pizza place for years now. The pizza used to have a delicious, thick doughy crust while still being fully cooked in the middle. Now the pizza is more comparable to the $6.99 pizza sold at LC. My pizza today had a cardboard-like crust and the middle wasn't even cooked all the way! I don't think we'll be returning. read more

This is hands down the best pizza I have ever tried. The pizza dough was airy and fluffy and crust as you get your first bite. The aroma of flavor as you walk in the door, the ambiance was absolutely perfect, cozy, yet vibrant with a mix of hard rock and the lighting was amazing. I also love the games that grumpy toms, it a great combination while my family waiting for our pizza. I also appreciate everyone working, I am blown away by the service I received. I just got a bunch of frozen sides that weren't cooked long enough. All the toppings on my pizza just fell right off super doughy but the flavor wasn't bad. But it sucks you wanna support these small businesses and they always wanna do ya dirty. First and last time coming here wasted 62 bucks plus the small tip I was able to afford. read more

While the service was okay (the young ladies at the counter were kind), I was disappointed by the $10 lunch special. The slices of "jumbo" pizza were more equivalent to the size of a medium slice at Dominos for reference. They had the consistency of being under a lamp for some time. My mom and I came to this place for dinner tonight, I ordered mostacolli, my mom ordered spaghetti, when the order was brought out, my mom's spaghetti had plenty of sauce, mine barely had any, I asked for more sauce, the server said there would be a .75 charge for additional sauce, but i wasn't asking for additional sauce, I just wanted a normal amount, not extra. Since I hadn't even touched my meal, and was very unhappy with what they served me, I requested a refund. And instead of just giving me some sauce which cost pennies, they would rather waste food and give a refund and throw away the meal. Their customer service SUCKS!!!! I ordered from you today Friday May 9, but to my disappointment the pizza was pretty much crappy. I order med pepperoni well done as your crust is always soggy.
