Valerie was very helpful in helping me choose a rug and was very patient as I made several trips home with samples and then returned them for more. They worked fast and efficiently and were in good humor and personable the whole time and cleaned up efficiently. We would give 5 stars for this service. The floor guys were rude and snide to my wife (I was not at home at the time). They did an awful job on the thresholds with jagged edges. Bad craftsmanship. My wife and I are both professional artists, she a painter and I a potter, so we know good craftsmanship. I wouldn't hire these guys to build a dog house. The staff at the store did not seem too concerned. They sent out another person who did not know how to effectively fix the problem he put a little calking in one ragged seam and moved the threshold I had previously made to cover the awful finish job on the other doorway. If this review were only for the floor installers I would give one star at best.

My newly replaced/refinished hardwood floors are so beautiful that you may almost wish you had to…read morereplace yours! :) I recently had a refrigerator leak that affected my kitchen, dining room and part of the family room hardwood flooring. I was very impressed with Andrei and his assistant -- both the knowledge and skills they displayed as well as friendly demeanor. Some of my hardwood replacement had to be special ordered because I have three different widths and one width was no longer made to stock. Andrei searched until he found where to special order the size -- this saved the project -- as the original sizes had to be maintained in order to complete continuity. I admire my new and refinished flooring every day and never tire of looking down at it! On top of that, the cost was a fair price! Do not hesitate to hire Marino Flooring!

When it came time to do the floors, Marino Flooring stood out as the most professional, high quality and reasonably priced of all the companies I've dealt with since buying the home. His expertise and responsiveness was one of the first green flags I encountered. Throughout the job he was very clear about expectations and treated my home as if it was his own. After the job, I couldn't be happier. Andrei and his team truly stand out. Simply put: if you are doing any kind of flooring in the Pittsburgh area, go with Marino Flooring. Update: I recently had an HVAC contractor come out last week. As he was leaving he said "whoever did your floors did them right!"

I was impressed with Limber Liquidators from start to finish. And I'm not easily impressed when it comes to these sort of things. First, the prices: I'm sure it's not secret that they are incredibly well priced. And if you do hire them for installation, you also don't have to pay tax which is another perk. Second, the retail staff: No commission, no problem. They talked us through our options, the add-ones, the pricing, everything. We chose to do our own demo and to pick up the bamboo flooring to save a couple bucks, and they loaded my truck and were friendly from Day 1. And they let you return any unused material. Lastly, the contractors: Nice guys, did the job exactly as we asked and were done in two days. Cleaned up after themselves, which you don't see much these days. Overall a perfect experience, and probably the first time I'd recommend a local retailer for contractor work.

Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.
