we ordered carpet for living room and hallways and Hardwood laminate for dining room…read more The carpet installers were GREAT. They worked fast and efficiently and were in good humor and personable the whole time and cleaned up efficiently. We would give 5 stars for this service. The floor guys were rude and snide to my wife (I was not at home at the time). They did an awful job on the thresholds with jagged edges. Bad craftsmanship. My wife and I are both professional artists, she a painter and I a potter, so we know good craftsmanship. I wouldn't hire these guys to build a dog house. The staff at the store did not seem too concerned. They sent out another person who did not know how to effectively fix the problem he put a little calking in one ragged seam and moved the threshold I had previously made to cover the awful finish job on the other doorway. If this review were only for the floor installers I would give one star at best.

I am a designer that used Paracca for years. I purchased a house and hired them to remodel two…read morebathrooms and kitchen floor. The job was terrible. I happen to come home while they were installing the bathroom tile and doing with no spacers and it was all over the place. They redid and when I returned it was just as bad. The returns of the shower they did not start with a full tile but fit uneven pieces (none the same size). I have never seen this done EVER and I do a lot of remodeling. The back wall of the shower literally has a bow to it, so obviously no backer board was used in the application, which is standard protocol. I had Gary Paracca out to look at these things as the tile was a handmade tile and extremely expensive and he did nothing. The hickory floor that I put in all areas is split and cracked all around the edges where they nailed and get worse with time. Right in the middle of the floor they put to pieces of wood that were defective and have chipped off chunks. The toilet that they reset in the master came pouring through the kitchen chandelier. I have contacted them for 8 years over and over and over. You would think they would care about repeat business and the competition that has moved into the area for flooring and tile. Ego is a bad thing to have in a business like this. I have not taken any of my clients there in years and will not. i value my customers and appreciate the fact that when they are spending money it is a big decision. Hopefully this will save someone from the pain. Sincerely Bette Jean Moore

I recently purchased a 150 year old home in Pittsburgh, which means I've had to deal with plumbers,…read moreroofers, and all sorts of contractors. When it came time to do the floors, Marino Flooring stood out as the most professional, high quality and reasonably priced of all the companies I've dealt with since buying the home. His expertise and responsiveness was one of the first green flags I encountered. Throughout the job he was very clear about expectations and treated my home as if it was his own. After the job, I couldn't be happier. Andrei and his team truly stand out. Simply put: if you are doing any kind of flooring in the Pittsburgh area, go with Marino Flooring. Update: I recently had an HVAC contractor come out last week. As he was leaving he said "whoever did your floors did them right!"

They also replaced all the balusters too. They did an amazing job. I don't think I've worked with such amazing workers ever. They were kind, friendly, worked the entire time, fast, detailed, and produced high quality results. To top it off, their quote was fair and they aren't out to rip people off with over priced quotes. They even allowed my talkative, rambunctious, 5 year old to follow them around and eat lunch with them. I could not have asked for a better experience. I trusted them fully. They were patient with us and allowed me to take my time in deciding on a stain color. They did such an exceptionally wonderful job, that months later we are still talking about it. Everything about them personally and professionally was just wonderful. Hire them for your next flooring job. Thank you!

I thought my shims might of moved. upon further review and wasting my time I relieved that the width of the flooring varied. I took pictures and left it like that. sent pictures to the ll flooring. I was assigned a case manager to investigate. i ripped 6 rows up to correct the problem. the project is now finished and I was informed today that they wasn't taking any action due to floor being completed. so it's been 5 days today, two days before Christmas and they expected me to leave me customers floor unfinished until they did there investigation. 5 k on a 500 sq foot floor and they don't stand on there product? over $6 dollars a square foot. on top of that I have at least 15 pieces of flooring with white stains on them that will not come off. I WILL NEVER USE THETE PRODUCT FOR ANYTHING!! I have always used them. I will be spreading the word to all my contractor buddies not to use these guys. it's pathetic. I've worked with a lot of 'retail' home supply companies for house projects over the last few years…read more(Lowe's, Home Depot, etc) as well as some other contractors, and I have to say... I was impressed with Limber Liquidators from start to finish. And I'm not easily impressed when it comes to these sort of things. First, the prices: I'm sure it's not secret that they are incredibly well priced. And if you do hire them for installation, you also don't have to pay tax which is another perk. Second, the retail staff: No commission, no problem. They talked us through our options, the add-ones, the pricing, everything. We chose to do our own demo and to pick up the bamboo flooring to save a couple bucks, and they loaded my truck and were friendly from Day 1. And they let you return any unused material. Lastly, the contractors: Nice guys, did the job exactly as we asked and were done in two days. Cleaned up after themselves, which you don't see much these days. Overall a perfect experience, and probably the first time I'd recommend a local retailer for contractor work.
