PLEASE RENAME YOUR BUSINESS - "BAD CHOICE" - poor design's incompetent staff, and delays, delays, no answers... and little no understanding in what a functional kitchen design is. If you cook, or understand how a kitchen should function - stay away. We got boxes for cabinets after providing requirements, installers used our backyard as their bathroom, leaving a mess of materials and scape - after the "quality install". *Update: in an attempt to reach SOMEONE, my husband emailed Mike, our sales guy & once again he saves the day. FROM VACATION may I add! Mike emailed us back first thing the next morning saying he was on it and within an hour, the guy who's in charge of the scheduling texts me back (at 9:40am.. I text at 5:23pm the night before). They scheduled 3-3:30 the next afternoon to come out. The installers showed up at 11am... thankfully I was home but they fixed our counters. Honestly if it weren't be Mike, I don't think it would have ever been fixed. If I had written this review a month ago, it would have been a full 5 stars but after terrible post-install follow up, I'm leaning more towards one star instead of two... We dealt with Mike at their Robinson store & he was super helpful and informative. After shopping around for our kitchen countertops, we realized their price couldn't be beat so we scheduled our install. There was a mix up in the scheduling (I blame my husband, he blames them). He swears they said Wednesday at 2:30 and they were calling me at 3:30 that Monday asking to be let in. I didn't bother to care about them being an hour late as we had complete days mixed up. It was very hard to communicate with the two gentlemen doing the install. I don't believe the one guy spoke any English at all.. They left holes in the wall but since we were putting in a backsplash, I didn't quite care about that either. It wasn't until we installed the backsplash that we realized they added a shim under the left side of the stove, but not the right. Leaving a decent gap between the back splash and the stove. We both called 4-5 times before we actually got someone to respond to schedule a fix. They were supposed to be here at 3:30 today. It is now 6 o'clock with zero communication from anyone at New Choice. We've called a dozen times, text & emailed... I had JUST recommended that to a friend and debating telling them to go elsewhere. This review is straight forward- I am a repeat customer, so that should say something. Their prices are unbeatable. The quality of stone is good. Actual fabricating is good as well. The not so good is there lack of post sales support - do not answer phone or return calls. No one speaks English at their fabrication plant, so if you pick up pieces or have questions you are in trouble. Similar issues with installers, in all four cases for me, the installers spoke very little English and where very messy. First install was master bath in winter..I had slush and salt in my entrance way all the way up my stairs, through bedroom and into bathroom that I needed to Clean when they left. Imagine spending 3-4 months building your dream kitchen, spending your savings, only at the Final Step NEW CHOICE ruins your kitchen, this happened to us. Not only did they ruin our kitchen, they ruined the joy/experience of building our first dream kitchen. If you don't want this to happen to you, read below (Also, I normally give 5/5 stars on google reviews, so please realize, it takes A LOT for me to write a 1 star review): It's taken a lot for me to write this as I tried from April 2019 until July 5th 2019 to get something resolved. New Choice has been responsive, yet nothings been resolved, it's like running in circles. They want you to think they care, but they don't listen or even actually do anything to fix the issue at hand. To preface this - their installers do not speak English AT ALL, so be prepared to be on the seat of your pants because they do not care about your personal property and you cannot communicate with them to be careful. First - they dented and scratched the entire side of a new $4,000 kitchen-aid refrigerator pretty bad. It took new choice 1 month to even turn the refrigerator into their insurance company. Second - they installed the quartz counter-top unevenly. Currently, its now pushing up against our back-splash and causing the entire tile to shift up as well as my contractor advising me, if they remove/replace the counter top, the tile will need to be done again. New Choice has been silent on the back-splash, it's almost like it's ignored. Sorry, but i'm not paying a contractor to do it again. If you're offering to fix things, fix EVERYTHING you've broke, not just the counter-tops. Their insurance provider is a complete and utter joke. Once they told me the name of the place, I knew I was screwed. I never heard of them and after not being contacted for weeks after being told it was turned in, I googled the insurance company and then I really got a dose of reality of what was to come. A gentleman called me, sounded like hew as working out of his parents basement. He was dry and rude. It took the insurance company another month to even get an adjuster down to see me. The adjuster, who was a 3rd party adjuster, was very nice. He said "You have a lot of damage and work that needs done because of this I see". He advised me that he only takes notes and pictures, the insurance company handles the rest. He did say "I don't think you'll have too many problems getting this fixed by the insurance company". WRONG - The insurance company called me back and told me "We're not covering the tile, the damage happened after the countertops were installed and thus not covered". I attempted to explain, but all the guy did was laugh and treat me as if I was a nut case. I'm at a true loss of words. My wife and I patiently waited 3-4 months to build our dream kitchen and this company ruined it, period. We're STILL, in JULY, stuck with an un-even countertop, backsplash that is slowy being pushed up and a unsightly scratched and dented fridge (The dents and scratches run the entire way down the fridge). read more

From start to finish, I am very happy with my experience with New Choice. When looking for a granite fabricator, my brother in law suggested New Choice as they had installed granite in his kitchen. When I called to talk to them about granite colors and options, Marshall suggested I go to the warehouse they use, Mont Granite, to look at the actual granite slabs. I emailed him a rough drawing of what my completed kitchen would look like and he provided me with the total square feet needed. After making a choice at Monte Granite, I called Marshall back to get a price based on a couple color options I was interested in. (Monte Granite does not have the prices listed on the slabs as prices vary slightly between fabricators) Marshall responded quickly with quotes and I was able to make a final decision on my slab. After I had chose my slab at Monte, I put half down at New Choice and they took care of the rest. They communicated with Monte to have the granite slabs delivered to their location. New Choice then held onto the slabs until I was ready for the install. When I finally had an approximate date for the cabinets to be installed, I called Marshall back and scheduled the measurung. Tip: They are busy with installs so call at least a month before your cabinets will be installed to get on the schedule. Marshall will work with you if there is an issue. When it was time to measure, they arrived on time as expected (in fact, they were a bit early) and didn't mind my request to take their shoes off (I was in the middle of having the hardwood floors refinished). They even had a suggestion as to how to make my powder room look more finished. Tip: have your sink/s there as they take it with them. Now for the best part, they were back to install in the SAME WEEK! Typically, this would take 3-4 weeks but, since I had picked out my granite slabs well before then, they were able to quickly fabricate to my measurements and install that Friday. Trust me, when you don't have a kitchen for several weeks because of construction, the faster you can get your countertops in the better! Marshall also worked with me and allowed me to bring tile samples to New Choice to compare against my actual slabs so that I could find a good match for my backsplash. New Choice claims to beat all competitor pricing and has a wide array of options including 2cm granite for those who are interested but more cost conscious. read more

I love love love my new kitchen - from the affordable price to quality of the cabinets, granite and every detail is top notch. The service from the initial decision making of selection, comparison to installation and service was all excellent ! They did what they said they were going to do and the time of the installation was so quick. It was done in a week ! It has been a year and I love my kitchen more now than I did the first day. The quality of the upgraded cabinets is poor. The dove tail joints are poorly fit up and several of the cabinet boxes were split at the dove tail joints. Communications with installers was very difficult and numerous return visits were required to remedy misalligned drawer issues and soft closing problems. After many calls to office personnel, attempts were made to fix the soft close double trash bin cabinet hardware problems. The installation guy placed a shim under the ball bearing drawer slide. All of the ball bearings have fallen out rendering the trash bin inoperable. No return calls to address this problem. I ordered a replacement Rev A Shelf soft close unit at my expense and having it installed. Not a good experience from many perspectives. The recurring I ssues have lingered for over a year. read more

If you truly want to use New Choice Home Deco then buyer beware! They remodeled our master bathroom this past summer, and while the finished product is beautiful, the journey was a very painful one. First and foremost, you must DEMAND that they use both certified electricians and plumbers (we've had two problems with our new toilet which a certified plumber eventually had to correct, and our family room ceiling had to be repainted). Second, they do not have a reliable process to insure that a) all the materials have been received and are undamaged AND b) are as per your written contract (our cabinets were incorrectly ordered and then some replacements were wrong when shipped). Third, they did not follow the agreed upon design and contract drawings. Fourth, their site workers spoke little to no English, so be prepared for communications problems. Fifth, you must DEMAND that the showroom designer be at the site project kickoff meeting, so you are sure that the site workers know the actual scope of the work. YOU will have to be the unofficial on-site project manager or there will be errors. Some errors may be "cast in concrete", therefore uncorrectable. Lastly, read the contract they ask you to sign. If it's their standard one, DON'T sign it! You have little to no rights under it if there are any problems. Make sure the contract you sign gives you the right to force them to correct errors, that they secure all applicable permits, that they follow all applicable laws and regulations, and that you can cancel the contract for cause or convenience, with who pays for what defined for each case. We have more remodeling work to have performed, but we will no be using New Choice Home Deco again. read more

My problem with New Choice was the deceptive advertising. They advertise some very low prices that you actually cannot get once visiting the showroom. If the price is too good to be true, it likely is. My suggestion is keep looking at reputable suppliers where the pricing. In addition limited English speaking people outside a few people in sales. read more

I selected New Choice for my granite countertop installation after visiting other granite companies in Pittsburgh and Ohio. It was a rather large installation in terms of square footage on four different counters. When I stopped at their showroom in Wexford, Charo, the sales representative, and I discussed my needs, explained my options, and then brought samples to my house. She even met me at their granite suppliers' warehouses and were we reviewed the aspects of the granite slabs that were available. From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Charo was fantastic and made sure that I was completely satisfied. Simon, the lead installer, was extremely knowledgeable about all stages of the fabrication process and also was committed to a proper installation with this crew. From start to finish, this was a great experience. I recommend New Choice highly because of these personnel and the great job that was done with Charo in the lead. read more
