Hobby Lobby is a retail chain that has about a thousand stores across the U.S. and sells products such as craft supplies, home decor, and holiday decorations. I shopped in this particular store in Robinson Township once. The store had a large selection of merchandise. I saw decorations for Thanksgiving and Christmas, mirrors, candles, some small furniture, fabric and yarn, flowers, party decorations, art supplies, model vehicles, paints, etcetera. Prices were reasonable. I bought only a couple of small items, because I did not really need anything. I personally would visit this store mostly for holiday decorations, although I do think that it would be good for people who have artsy hobbies. There are far less problematic companies with better junk stores than this. Shop somewhere that doesn't fund hate. Honestly the choice is easy not to give money to these people. Their custom framing department will sell bad and defective goods then tell you to pay them more money to fix it. Only go to them if you want to pay $200 for a custom Frame then 6yrs later have to pay more money to get a new frame. This is no doubt one of my favorite stores. I often visit for paint supplies. I like the supply of acrylic paints and this is the one store I know I can find an extra large size canvas. I also really love the home decor items and find myself wondering around.. in aw... wishing I had more money!! h haaha ha .I want everything!! There's coupons available..I believe it's 40% off. I like the selection of gift bags and gift wrap.. fresh and different. The frames.. I love the selection. Another reason that keeps me coming back is that the checkout lines go super fast.. Came here looking for fabric and a certain tool for reupholstering...they didn't have the tool nor the fabric but they mos def had some good things on sale.. I have been managing my finances (better) so I did not but anything but OH BOY if I weren't trying not to save more I would have walked out with a cart full of stuff. They did have some empty aisles but 99% of the aisles were full of goodies. Definitely take a gander and buy something..although they didn't have the tool or fabric for me I still Ended up buying ONE item! read more

I came here looking for a small display case for some art and was unable to find what I was looking for sadly. The store was a bit empty in a lot of spots so not sure if there restocking for Christmas. They did have a lot of painting supplies and they also do custom frame work for photos and what not so I thought was pretty cool. They also had model rockets that fun to play with but hard to find. If your looking for basic craft supplies I would recommend this place. read more

I love this place. It's a giant craft store plus more. It's pretty much like a Pat Catans with a little bit more... which I love. I can spend hours looking at the paint supplies dreaming of what I would buy if I would just stop moving around and get back into painting. They also have some funky furniture. We are up north visiting and I always have to stop at Hobby Lobby. Well we had so much fun we went back 2 more times and we are planning 1 more visit before we go home. The Robinson Twp store in Pennsylvania had the best sales people and customers. EVERYONE talking and laughing with each other, you would have thought we were all neighbors. I tried to explain to a sales associate what I was looking for she said oh we have that right here. How she figured out what I was saying is beyond me. As soon as a line was starting at checkouts 2 more opened and our items were carefully wrapped. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for making shopping fun again. read more

Are you crafty or just like to decorate? This is the place for you! This store is a dream come true for crafters. There is fabric, ribbon, glue guns, art canvases, paint brushes, paints, fabric paints. . . . You name it, it's probably here. For decorators there are baskets, candles, silk flowers, picture frames, wall hangings. . . The list goes on and on. There is a wedding section with cake toppers, place cards, guests books and all things wedding. I picked up a few things for my vow renewal. They have a greeting card section and all kinds of party supplies. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. If you download their app you can get coupons. I saved 40% off of a roll of ribbon. The coupon was good for any regular priced item in the store. The ribbon I bought was the only thing I bought regular priced because they were running great sales. read more

I finally got my boyfriend to join me at Hobby Lobby.. aka told him we were going to the mall then just came here because i knew he'd say no. How about that?! I really enjoyed it here... especially the home decor. All of the pictures with the cute sayings, the floating shelves, the distinctive themed aisles. It was awesome just walking around and checking it out. They had a GREAT selection of fabric and art supplies. I'm excited to head back and get a few things for our place. This place is awesome! I check out their sales every week and try to go in to get what I need. They have the best floral section, prices are awesome and there is so much to see. Tons of home decor, accents and really cool bird cages as well. My husband loves this place too so that says something. On a side note, they are closed Sundays, pay their employees extremely well and they do offer 15 types of birth control to their employees. Many people were telling me they were not going to Hobby Lobby because of what they heard about them through gossip. Complete hog wash. Very disappointed. Employees were not only unknowledgeable they were rude. Many of the same products are available online at a much cheaper price too. Funny thing is the owners claim to be religious and pro-life yet the stores are filled with Chinese products where abortion is not only legal in many cases it's mandated. the all mighty dollar is more important than their religious beliefs and hiring knowledgeable employees. Went to this location with my mom just to look around. I had been looking for Disney Villain fabric all weekend, and my mom thought that maybe Hobby Lobby would carry it. This location is just the typical Hobby Lobby. They had clearance scattered throughout, so it was somewhat exciting to find a clearance item that you actually wanted. read more

I cannot state enough how slow this store is. Hobby Lobby's check out system is so archaic, it has never taken me less than 15 min to check out no matter how many items I have. They constantly have 20 people all over the store... stocking or tagging or just facing shelves, trying to look busy. And ONE cashier. Because their registers are from the early 80's, they have punch in each code and as most of Hobby Lobby's employees are older, this takes FOREVER!!!! I'm literally standing in line as I write this and I've not only been in line (with only ONE person in front of me) enough time to write to write this, but I didn't start it when I got in line. I visited the recently opened Hobby Lobby in West Mifflin. I had never been to one before. I'm sure that many people like places like this, but I don't. The store is full of cheap, flimsy merchandise made in China. I did see one item that is made in Cambodia. The "decorative furniture items" are cheap, flimsy items made in China. I did not find a single item made in America. I was surprised by this because this company seems to tout its conservative values. If you are looking for this type of merchandise, this is the place for you. I will never go there again. read more

I love this store they have alot of cute and unique items, however its overpriced, i only buy items on sale for 50% off or use a 40% coupon printed from online. I have nothing but positive things to say after my many experiences with this Hobby Lobby. I came in looking for a yarn I was working with which I couldn't find anywhere and not only did I find it but they even offered to order more if they didn't have all that I needed. I thought this was really nice and also great customer service and I had never received that type of help at any other craft store. The staff was all very friendly and many even would take the time to ask what type of projects I was working on and even to bring pictures to show them back the next time! I will never purchase here again. Very poor customer service and racist employees. I was embarrassed with other customers in line staring at me because the cashier could not see the line on my hundred bill. She even called the manager as if i had counterfeit money because i am African American. She also did not allow me to use my coupon on 2 separate orders. Not a traditional hobby shop, more of a craft shop for women. The name is very misleading. The best thing about them is they always have a 40% off downloadable coupon so that if they do happen to have what you want you can save big on 1 item. When buying fabric, watch as Hobby Lobby measures. They will routinely cheat you out of an inch or two. I bought 3 yards, wasn't paying attention (and I know better). Get home and fabric is 1 3/4 inch short. I bought 3 yards, not 2 yards 34 1/4 inches! Called manager & he was "offended" that I said this routinely happens & they do it on purpose. Also, when checking out, know the prices of your items. I was buying yarn on sale & girl rings it. The regular price comes up. I tell her it is on sale. She looks at the ad & types in an even higher price than regular price! I tell her that is the wrong price & she shows me ad, which has several types of yarn at different prices. It clearly shows the type I was buying & the sale price, & she tries to tell me I am buying the more expensive. There is a label on the yarn which says the type it is, & it is clear in the flier that it is the yarn on sale at the lower price. Hobby Lobby tries to cheat their customers in any way possible. read more
