If my husband wouldn't have been home I wouldn't have let him in. He wore dirty clothes and walked around in dirty socks with huge holes. I doubt he showered before he came out and sweated the entire time. Every time I went to check on him, he was on his phone with either his granddaughter or changing the music he was listening to. Jim had done the quote for both of our tile bathrooms and for new caulking in the shower. The worker spent more time trying to talk me out of the caulking and saying wanted to set up grout work with another company he knew. A three hour job turned into 6 hours, we never say the worker bring in any equipment to 'steam clean' with and when I asked he said they only give me these yellow rags and product. When I asked him about their cleaning product that Jim had mentioned, he told me to just buy some hydrogen peroxide and mix it with some dish soap as that is pretty much what the cleaner is. I highly doubt that he did much of anything. I was so disappointed with the service that i didn't want them back in our house even to look at the crap work but after 11 months and our tile shower looking poorly I finally called and asked them to come out. Warranty...what a joke! The estimator that came out was happy to tell me that they don't warranty caulking but would happily send me a quote for redoing the job for $125 "even though it shouldn't look that way in less than a year" was his comment. He also conveniently didn't have their wonderful product to clean with to see if it would help any, but more than happy to ship me a bottle for $30.

Unfortunately, I'm deeply disappointed with the outcome. The rugs were picked up and returned several weeks later, still damp and--most importantly--still smelling of urine. I waited until they fully dried, but the odor remained. When I contacted the company, they offered to re-clean them. I agreed, though this meant another lengthy wait and dealing with pick-up and drop-off again. The second time, the rugs were dry upon return, but still smelled strongly of urine--now mixed with an overpowering fragrance from the cleaning solution that was so intense it caused headaches in my household. I asked to speak with a manager, and Rob informed me they don't offer refunds, but could clean the rugs again. At this point, the rugs had already been gone for over two months, and I had no confidence a third cleaning would fix the issue. I declined and asked again for a refund due to their failure to meet the original guarantee. Rob said he'd look into making an exception and follow up with me. That was over two weeks ago, and I haven't heard back. The rugs have now been in my home for several weeks, and they still smell like urine covered by heavy fragrance. I feel let down not only by the poor results, but also by the lack of follow-through from management. I would not recommend Sweets Chem-Dry if you're looking for reliable odor removal or responsive customer service.
