OK, so an update. Alright, Group Therapy, you convinced me. This is my new go-to bar. When i want a cold beer served competently and usually with a smile, I know where to go. Your $2.50 domestic pints have conquered my resistance. Your friendly clientele has removed my hesitation. Even when I walk in and don't know anyone, someone will usually start talking to me, or they don't mind much when I start talking to them. Yes, sometimes you're not very busy, and I'm OK with that. It's a great hole in the wall beer bar. They also have wine and other drinks. And the prices are good also. G.T. is a great place to go and be yourself (or to celebrate an occasion with friends). This place is very friendly with good service and good locals. There is beer pong, darts, pool table, and events on weekday nights and weekends. For a dive bar it's not bad. It is on the opposite side from the restaurants in this location, so if you want to bring food in here to eat you have to go get it unless it's pizza. They have a Limited selection of wines, but my Chardonnay was alright. I had a Groupon for $20 for two people. It was $30 for a total of four glasses of wine. Been going here for years. Has everything you can want in a dive-bar. Cheap beer, friendly faces, free pool on Mondays and you can play poker for beer chips on Thursdays. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there is no liquor, only beer and wine. read more

You know when you walk into a place and you can tell they just gave up. That's my first 60 seconds of this place. Several TV's on with no volume and no music playing. Just a bunch of people sitting around drinking cheap beers. I noticed the change of ownership sign on the window out front. I used to like going here, but it seems the owners or whoever is making the decisions has no idea what they are doing. The crowd is very up and down, sometimes there are 2 people in there at 11pm on a Friday night and sometimes there is 20. I guess it depends on the bartender. I hear they cancelled karaoke, which is the only reason I used to go. The drinks are pretty inexpensive...they don't take credit cards...and I wouldn't recommend going there if you do not like beer because that's all they serve. Only one pool table. I've gone here several times and Kay is by far my favorite bartender, super sweet and friendly and definitely keeps her bar clean and attentive to all the patrons. So, I'm forced to watch the hockey playoffs at a small dive bar and JUST when they get the TVs turned to the game, some selfish fool comes up and puts $100 into the jukebox - which apparently supersedes the TV audio here. This is after I called ahead before coming, and asked in person before ordering a pizza and a pitcher. Not really happy with 'management' right now, especially when the attitude of the passive-aggressive 'little girl' behind the bar is beyond any kind of employee/customer relationship. Me and my friend go to dive bars for the low key atmosphere. love places that allow us to get away after work and get to know like minded adults. After reading some reviews online we thought we would try this place and went to this bar expecting a good time.my friend order a bottled beer which the bottle was so frozen he had to wait for a new one.I tried to order a mix drink which Daniel said they didn't have the right stuff to make the drink so I replied with the next mix drink I could think of. I then noticed her looking it up on her phone which I began to feel like I was being difficult and quickly opted out for a normal tap beer. A short time into our stay the bartender For some reason felt compelled to gossip about customers, Informing us on thing such as customers that would creepily hit on us and was informative about which bartenders we should trust or avoid and what nights we should or should not visit. Which it just seemed as if she was attempting to detour us and other costumers from visiting any shift but hers. She also spent some time on her laptop studying for school and had a bit of attitude when asked for another drink because she had to pause her personal activities to serve us,she didn't seem to be a big a hit with a couple of the other regulars either . Outside of the bartenders unsettling childish school girl personality ,the customers seemed to be friendly, playful and respectful. the jukebox was on the ami app which was easy to play music from our phones, The pool table was only fifty cents a game and they had dart boards. We may have just hit this place on an off night however because of the lack of service and the place closing before the advertised closing time we are not sure if we will be visiting anytime soon. read more

This is not a downtown bar scene. You don't need to dress up super "smutty." This place is home to some regulars who are really quirky characters but I feel are for the most part, good people. You can come here with a group of friends or by yourself and not feel unwelcomed. Prices are real good, and there have been improvements in staff and atmosphere since my first visit here many years ago. The only quibble that refrains me from giving this place a full five stars is talent recognition and retention. In order for a business to prosper and perform, there needs to be an emphasis on retaining talent and also rewarding valued employees. With the all encompassing responsibilities and closing of the bar duties left to their hardworking bartenders, you might as well make them both your manager and bartender for the days they work. I really liked a lot of the girls that work here, especially Emily and Liz. But if you don't reward your hard-working & talented employees with due diligence, it may be too little, too late. read more

This is a great bar. Lots of different beers on tap, bar is well stocked, great juke box and very fun and friendly atmosphere. Many flat screens with lots of sports. A lot of people playing new electronic dart boards. This bar is extremely clean. Great place to watch sports or just hang out with friends. I've had the best time here! read more
