Fried Pickles
Nancy P.

We had the fried pickles with home made ranch, patty melt with fries, wagyu burger with sweet potato fries. Service was good, the food came out hot and quick. Pickles were so good and crunchy with the home made ranch. The patty melt and wagyu burger were juicy and delicious. One of the best burgers in town. There's plenty of parking in the park.

Well I got a to go order placed in the restaurant and walked out not looking at it which is my fault apparently but it was all tied up so it would've been hard to get it open Drove 25 minutes home to find that I didn't get what I ordered. My daughter is so disappointed because she got two measly little chicken tenders when she was supposed to get the two sliders. When you place it to go order in person, it shouldn't be wrong and they weren't busy.

I had been looking forward to trying Ground, so today we stopped by for lunch to grab a couple burgers. We ordered an appetizer of loaded fries to start. These came out only about five minutes before our burgers arrived. The queso was very mild and the ranch seemed to overpower the dish. For our meals, my husband and I each chose a build your own burger with the wagyu beef. The beef had a great flavor and we both enjoyed our burgers very much. My husband said this may be his favorite Tennessee burger that he has had yet! Our sides were fried pickles, which were okay but not the best I have had, and tater tots, and we shared the two. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our visit, and the burgers will bring us back for a return visit. If you find yourself in Franklin and craving a good burger, be sure to check them out.

Food On point! Had the Philly Cheesesteak, cesar salad, and Cubano burger, and everything was done really well. The Cheesesteak had a great cook, peppers were still crunchy, onions soft, beef well seasoned, the bread had exceptional flavor and was toasted well. My only thing was the inside fell through the bread as soon as I picked it up, so it turned into a knife-and-forker. The beef for the burger was well seasoned with a nice coarse but not too coarse grind, cooked perfectly and again well-seasoned. Fried piclelswas a good touch along with also having fresh veggies to add as toppings. Service Great! We got to know the owner Matt and learned this location opened 5.5yrs ago while the Cool Springs location opened 9yrs ago. He was very personable while the food was ready quick. Ambiance I really enjoyed the feel of the space at the West Franklin location. Had a real comfortable, like I was eating at home feel. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

Gotta love this place!! Small town burger joint in Franklin, TN amazing food, small town atmosphere and awesome staff. I just placed and order to go, which you'll have to do there as they aren't currently taking to go orders over the phone. It is really easy though, walk up to the counter (basically to the kitchen) and use the large touch screen to place your order, they make it really really easy to customize your food with their POS system. I got two Pioneer burgers to go with fries and they were all done and ready to go in less than 10 min. The staff was super nice, some young hard working gentlemen, and the place was clean and had a great small town diner vibe. I definitely recommend it here!

The wings were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The second accommodation was the baked potato. They were able to provide a side of shredded cheese accompaniment upon request. Third accommodation was the virgin pina colada. I thoroughly enjoyed my half salad, which was plenty especially when paired with the wings app. The best part of salad were the freshness and quality of all the ingredients. Even with the way it was dressed and presented, the care and attention to detail was obvious. There's also the lobster bisque and Pavlova dessert. Loved it and it was picky-kiddo approved, especially that Pavlova which was just divine! We were very lucky to have dined with a performer player her guitar. She had a beautiful voice. We were also very lucky with our waitress. She boxes all our leftovers for us. We certainly recommend dining here. Everyone was warm and welcoming, including other guests.

By itself of as a side, this is probably the best thing on the menu (imo) but plenty of other great items. This trip I had the Island Burger, double patty, lettuce, red onion, tomato and of course cheddar cheese. This comes with a side sooooo Chopped Beach Salad! It's a generous side serving of the salad. A Very satisfying meal. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely evening in Westhaven! Keep it up Kokomos.

The menu has so much variety & a lot of different kinds of flavors to choose from. I went with a classic plate with tofu and two sides of mac and cheese & Brussels sprouts. We had three little kids with our group and got lucky with an open booth table in the back corner. I appreciated the light and fun decorations and the kids had a good time looking around and of course crawling on the booth. Lol! Afterwards I learned this is a chain and there's one closer to where I live so I will absolutely be back!

Possibly when it is nicer weather so I can take advantage of the patio. The only reason I am giving FC 4 stars is because the tables are SO close together ( you could literally hear people's entire conversations). It is also a bit pricey but, heck , I do not mind paying up a 'lil for good eats! Stop in & give it a try. There is something for everyone on the menu. Bon Appetite !

I found a very simple website with menus, but not the ability to order ahead of time. I got the vibe that it's a brand new business just getting up and figuring itself out, so I'm more willing than usual to give it the benefit of the doubt and some time. They have a cassette tape theme going on, so I guess the owner has a thing for older music and the culture of cassettes, which aligns with the "mix tape" loyalty club. I suppose that also has to do with the name. All the sandwiches have "fun," but non-helpful names, so I had to read all the descriptions a few times to get an idea of what they had. He pointed me to the option that was most like an Italian sub that I was craving. It wasn't clear, so I had to ask about where I tell them how I would like it (no tomatoes or mayo, etc) and the answer was right there at the register. I didn't see general options anywhere, so I didn't know how else I might customize, plus I was in a hurry and not in the mood to have that conversation right then, or in person, for that matter. I paid (kudos for having contactless payment options!) and went to the other end of the counter for a brief wait, then I got my sandwich and was out the door (my order was 'to go.') The sandwich was good, I ate it all and enjoyed it. The nature of its construction made it less stable and more fall-aparty than I was expecting to eat while driving (part of the reason to get a sub), but I made do. The bread was a little disappointing. It was good, but I think my expectations weren't aligned. I wasn't offered a choice of bread and I don't remember if there was an obvious "choose your bread" display right by the register or not. It was white sub bread. The outside of the bread was just as white as the inside; I guess I'm used to the outside of the bread being a little darker than the inside and a bit stronger to hold everything together. It was a bit more crumbly than I was expecting or thought was appropriate for a sandwich. This also meant it was more flexible, as in while I'd hold it to take a bite, the back of the bread would lift up and let things fall out that I had to put back, and then adapt how I was holding it to keep all the good stuff inside. I don't remember the bread having any flavor, it was just an edible tool to hold the sandwich innards. Normally I'd add oil/vinegar to an Italian sub, but I'm glad I didn't here or it would have been a bigger oily mess to clean up rather than just putting it back when things fell out. Bottom line for me (if you had a different experience or have a different opinion, I'm happy for you), it was good but not amazing. I don't think I'd stop there again when I'm in the area unless I'm starving again. If it were closer to me, I might keep my eye on it to see how it matured and adapted over time to maybe have options I liked more, but I won't be making the trek to where it is in Franklin just to get a sandwich there. However, since my taste isn't universal, if you're in the area and curious, I'd say give it try. You may really like it and the cassette thing may speak to you. I wish the owner only the best! Tangentially, nothing to do with the food or business: It's on a busy road and the entrances there are a little tricky, so just be aware and don't pull in slightly too soon and find yourself in the wrong parking lot that isn't connected.

Service: polite and efficient. (One member of our group thought it was just perfunctory. I felt otherwise.) Food: brewed coffee - meh. Other breakfast food - very very good. Avocado toast was seasoned nicely and slathered generously with mashed avocado. Breakfast tacos were judged just fine. Eggs Benedict absolutely five stars!! Perfectly - runny yolk - poached eggs on top of tender Canadian bacon sitting on lightly toasted English muffins, all covered with a delectable slightly lemon-forward (I loved it) hollandaise. A small, albeit adequate, portion of hashbrowns, accompanied the eggs along with a few fresh greens. I would order this again in a heartbeat. Ambience: here's where Fika stumbled a bit. While, it is technically handicap-accessible, including wheelchairs" it is difficult for someone in a wheelchair to maneuver as attested by folks sitting next to us. Tables are so tightly packed, it is difficult for anyone to maneuver through to get to a table or all the way to the back to get to a restroom. Fortunately, everyone who was there the morning we visited was reasonably polite and made way for a few people who had some ambulatory difficulties, myself included. Biggest drawback for our group of three was that the acoustics were/are horrible. Nothing on the bare walls or ceiling to muffle or enhance the sound. Screaming children (not a complaint, just an observation) sent piercing squeals reverberating off the walls. Polite conversation was virtually impossible. My suggestion would be that the owners hang some sort of draperies or whatever to absorb the deafening cacophony.
