Juan Manuel Lobato and his crew are the best company I've ever worked with on any project. If I could I would give them 10+ stars! They were on time every day and worked quickly and always with a smile. Then completely cleaned up each evening. Their attention to detail was amazing and all of the little subtleties they added really made the difference. Circle Vents, small window corner siding and boxes for all electrical. Anytime I had a request and I'm a detail person, they responded with a smile and quickly addressed it. We also replaced our termite filled fascia with Hardie fiber cement material and they trimmed it out beautifully and now will last our lifetime. I've been fixing up my house for years. It's a large wooden house near the beach. It's a lot like owning a boat but I love the place. The exterior is covered with shake singles. They've been rotting and have provided a constant source of yummy food for the termites for many years. I have had several handymen and painters that promised they'd rehabilitate the shingles. Either they don't fix all the shingles or they do a bad job. I had almost given up. I found Excel Siding on "Thumbtack" I think. Finally I got someone that knows what they're doing. It wasn't cheap but l could see it was a lot of work. The inexpensive guys (handymen and painters) didn't charge much but didn't the job done either. So I'm happy with these guys and in a couple years (good grief) I'll probably have to hire them again.

Things started out badly when he forgot about our initial meeting. After coming to an agreement on…read morefixing my deck, Roland wrote up a contract that we agreed upon. His crew was less then qualified to build a deck. His communication was awful and the only time he would come by was to pickup his checks. After the job was complete and his final check was cut, Roland told me to call him with any concerns. After a few days, I had a chance to look over the entire deck. I found corners not matching up, loose boards, the step fell off the bracket, other steps were not straight, the deck has a wave in the boards,etc. I called Roland and he immediately said i should have let him know the day they finished. He called me a liar 10 x's and said he was not fixing anything. After filling with the BBB, he changed his tune and sent a guy out but limited what work he would do. After 3 attempts to fix the failures, he gave up and will not fix the deck correctly so now I am having to hire another decking company to do the work correctly. FYI, his own guys said he was incompetent and most of his crew have quit. They also told me he had friends write Yelp and Angies List reviews to boost his rating. His favorite saying is "time is money"! Good luck if you hire him!
