We hired Ameriside to install new siding across the entire front of our two-story house to cover…read morethe ugly existing stucco, and then paint the entire exterior of our home. Their cost was very competitive along with their projected time to finish. The siding team of Mike, Jose and Jerry was outstanding; we received a number of suggestions during the project which improved the overall look of the house with little to no cost increases. The paint team of Israel and Jesus was also outstanding; they were very meticulous in the prep-work and painting the surfaces with minimal impact to plants along the house. We highly recommend Ameriside for Siding and Paint.

When I initially received quotes from various companies I decided to go forth with ameriside as…read moretheir pricing seemed best. Unfortunately this was due to miscommunication as they thought I only wanted to replace 75% of the curb facing siding... not sure why anyone would do that but okay miscommunication happens. Installation: where it was straight shiplap across the front, turned out fine. The window was promised to have a symmetrical thin border across as I was sent photos from the James Hardy website... attached you will see instead it is geometrically cut out to avoid the flashing... could have been made thin and uniform throughout however I was told that it was not possible. Many neighbors have gone through other companies and have the same sized retrofitted window but had the siding all done in the same manner. Mine is the only one that looks like this. Even the installer said "I think it looks cool, we never see it cut like that..." but when it comes to housing clean cut and uniform works for us. I was told later, this couldn't have been known before hand until the old siding and window edges were taken down. However the installer knew it from day 1 and said so to me. I believe that whoever the sales rep is should always be forthcoming with the possibilities of outcomes and what it may look like vs showing examples from the company website yet delivering something else. When I went up on the roof to paint the fresh wood I found multiple spots that were not caulked properly or nailed down. (See attached photos). These were fixed later when they came out to install and fix the remaining portion of siding that I had to pay for as well that I thought was included in the original quote. Again pleased with most of it but a major focal point is the front window which did not come out to expectations of what was originally shown. Anyone can feel free to message me for more pics if needed.

It's a lot like owning a boat but I love the place. The exterior is covered with shake singles. They've been rotting and have provided a constant source of yummy food for the termites for many years. I have had several handymen and painters that promised they'd rehabilitate the shingles. Either they don't fix all the shingles or they do a bad job. I had almost given up. I found Excel Siding on "Thumbtack" I think. Finally I got someone that knows what they're doing. It wasn't cheap but l could see it was a lot of work. The inexpensive guys (handymen and painters) didn't charge much but didn't the job done either. So I'm happy with these guys and in a couple years (good grief) I'll probably have to hire them again.

The crew are fantastic and professional - they come on to a site, get straight to work, operate like a well-oiled machine, leave everything neat and tidy at the end of each day, and are finished before you know it with minimal disruption. Very nice bunch of people. I contacted Mark during a very busy time with contractors, and he was amazing at working me in to his schedule and was able to complete everything ahead of the estimated timeline. My project included removal of old and tired '70's rock facade and wood paneling, which was replaced with Hardie siding. Beautiful!

They are quick at responding text/call and really know what they are doing. On top of that, part of the project had to do with our insurance; we needed a contractor that would be willing to provide exactly what the insurance needed. We typed the proposal up, and Jeff filled in with what the insurance requested. We wanted to remove light fixtures in the living room and replace it with a pendant fixture, as well as recessed lights. The shades we bought ended up not being the perfect fit for the new fixture we wanted to use in the dining room, but Jeff and Chase were patient and knowledgeable to know how to "sand this, and cut that " and made the shades work and look beautiful! We are very pleased with their work and will definitely be using them again for all things home repairs. As a perfectionist, it's hard to find great contractors like them. They are very tidy and neat and really know what they are doing. We also like that they are honest and work with fair rates. Thank you, guys!
