Powder room with backlit mirror, pedestal sink, manual bidet toilet.

Mitch and crew completed my powder room done in 5 days. They did a fabulous job from demo, electrical, plumbing, tiling to installing everything as I wanted. Mitch even came back to touch up the paint that didn't quite look right. Very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Tile floor after installation. Very well done and professional

I called Legacy Remodeling after I found water damage in the guest bathroom. Mitch's response was professional and very timely. His crew replaced the old tile, and installed the new ceramic tile in two days. Mitch followed up by coming on site and making sure his crew performed the work on time, and to my satisfaction. His crew was clean, respectful and talented. You can't ask for more than, this. Timely, professional and quality work. I'll call Legacy Remodeling again for the next project.

I rarely leave reviews as I find them a waste of time but with Mitch, I'm going to take my time to give him many thumbs up. If you are looking to remodel your Kitchen or Bath, Mitch is the man! Mitch works really hard to make sure our project was done on time and up to the quality level that we'd come to expect. His price will not be the lowest but he is very fair and reasonable. What's more important is he really knows his stuff! Our designer missed a few details but Mitch was able to adjust to it on the spot. He keeps his crew on task to ensure the project deadlines are met which is a huge plus when you take on a home improvement project. Thank you Legacy Remodeling and Mitch!

added backsplash, new mirror and medicine cabinets

We hired Mitch to do a bath remodel, widen the kitchen doorway, install tile floors throughout the entry, kitchen, bath and hallway and hang a new front door. We interviewed a total of 8 contractors, and he was the ONLY one to give us a written estimate. He is very pleasant and easy to work with and I work in the design build industry for a living so that says a lot. He suggests ideas and if issues arrive, as they always do in construction, he handles any problems promptly and respectfully. All the tile work was very well done, and I am particularly picky about details. They even finished earlier than expected, which was a real nice bonus since we had to move out having only one bathroom in the condo. We will be using him in the future for other projects and we can highly recommend him and his crew for your next remodel.

Finished area, new toilet, bidet, lighted mirror, vanity, flooring, exhaust vent.

I was delighted to work closely with Mitch for my 95 sq/ft bathroom remodel. We remodeled everything from floor, tiles, tub, vanity, baseboards, paint, electrical, and walk-in closet. With Mitch, you will not get a sales person with a fancy iPad or MacBook trying to upsell you. He won't have to justify any extra costs to pay office admin staff or a personal designer. You won't get any fancy 3D rendering of what your bathroom could look like. YOU are the designer and have complete creative control of your project. He will give you feedback on how to make your home modern and retain the best value. What does all this mean? Something that probably matters the most to you: cost savings!! He prices his project fairly and competitively because his goal is to earn your business for future projects.   Mitch is the business owner who will take your calls, your texts, he does all his administrative work and answers your emails. He does your billing, quotes, and he gets his hands dirty with doing some of the project work himself. He is proud of what he does for a living. His work is his passion and he enjoys what he does. His strongest asset is his knowledge of construction work, the reliable and dedicated hands-on workers he employs, and best of all is his customer service. You'll be greeted with "yes, sir/ma'am," "Whatever makes you happy is all I care about," "I want to build the bathroom of your dreams," "There's no pressure, I'm just here to help you." He has a positive attitude and he does his own quality control. Mitch will always ask if you have any questions, concerns and he will address them. He will rework or adjust an installation if you truly think it needs to be done. For example, even though it was sealed, I noticed that the drain for my new tub wasn't 100% overlapping the tub's cutout drain hole. It was probably not a big deal, but Mitch wanted me to have peace of mind and had his plumber adjust the drain so that it was properly centered and covers the entire cutout of the drain.   Mitch's prep work to ensure my property was protected was very much appreciated. For example, my flooring was brand new. Knowing that, he applied high quality flooring covers to ensure that my flooring was protected with the best products. Each place he or his workers stepped into was covered. I would recommend Mitch for your home projects. He will give you a fair price and like with any service provider you hire, just make sure to discuss everything up front, have open communication every day to ensure your project is going well. Mitch wants that as well. He is super professional and will be as transparent as possible to ensure that your budget is respected, and he will be available on your job site almost every day to ensure things are working smoothly.

Shower niche with smart dimmer lighting - so cool
Janet L.

Mitch and his team at Legacy were great with my master bath remodel! From start to finish the entire process was smooth. We started with the design choices, then on to the remodel. Mitch even added a unique lighting feature around the shower niche with a smart dimmer - I love this! Mitch and his team do excellent work and are trustworthy - I highly recommend him for all your home remodeling needs.

Replaced 50 year old white railings with these beauties.

20 stars if I could!…read more Everything about this company is top notch. I just bought a condo and I had a garage leak from a storm. :( Turns out it's from my balcony. The balcony was only 5 years old and it turns out it was done wrong. I found MFK on yelp and read through the reviews. MFK helped water test and found more leak originations than myself and another company. Their prices are right in line with other bids I received. It took a few weeks to get onto their busy books, but it was worth it. Mitch is the project manager and was fast with quoting, checked-in on site, and was always available. The 2 man crew, Gaspar and Alfredo, were amazing. They were on time every day and left it clean everyday. It was a 3 day job and it looks amazing. They showed me what they did every step of the way (I was curious) and I could see the nice quality craftsmanship. They had to rip out stucco on a wall and rip out the perimeter of my balcony to add flashing. They even found an area causing leaks just around the corner from the balcony and fixed that too (more stucco removal and flashing). They also did a few other little stucco fixes for me. Very reasonable price per square foot. Everything looks amazing. I also bid with them for roof maintenance (cleaning and sealing for 5 units in the HOA) and their pricing was the lowest out of 5 local bids. Don't use anyone else!

I hired MFK to remove and replace an old balcony in my residence. Mitch visited the site and…read moreprovided me with a detailed written proposal and a reasonable price. He also accommodated my comments and the changes I requested on some work items. He was very professional and we had great communication through completion of the project, exchanging multiple email messages and phone calls. The crew was always on time, efficient and responsive to my requests and cleaned up well at the end of each work day. I also retained them to replace my damaged wood sidings and trims. Martin did a great job custom making wood panels for me as my residence is relatively old and no sidings matching the original ones were available in the market. They completed this job efficiently as well. I found this family owned business trustworthy and will continue recommending their services to friends and family.

Hand Crafted Metalworks

I had a very disappointing experience with Hand Crafted Metalworks…read more From the beginning, I was extremely clear about what I wanted. I provided a reference photo on the very first day and made it known that I am very detail-oriented, especially because this was a major custom staircase railing project costing around $20,000. I wanted the finished product to closely match the design, proportions, style, and overall look of the reference photo. Unfortunately, the process became frustrating and confusing. Instead of feeling like my vision was being understood and executed, I repeatedly felt like the design was being scaled back, reinterpreted, or changed from what I had originally requested. Multiple revisions were needed because key details were not reflected properly, including how the railings were supposed to continue down the lower steps and terminate at the bottom. One major issue was that the shop drawings showed a rectangular/square wood cap, even though the reference photo I provided showed a round wood handrail. That was a major design difference, not a small detail. For a custom project of this size, I expected the drawings to accurately reflect the design direction I had communicated from the start. Another major frustration was the coordination process. I hired Hand Crafted Metalworks expecting them to manage the project. Instead, I felt like I was being put in the middle between their metal team and their wood subcontractor. I was connected directly with the wood subcontractor, who appeared to be unaware of important details, including that the wood was already part of the original quote. At one point, it felt like I was being asked to coordinate or clarify things that should have been handled internally by the contractor. There was also confusion around the timeline. A timeline that had been discussed as approximately six weeks later appeared to become September, which was a significant difference. When I asked for clarification, the conversation became defensive instead of simply explaining the scheduling change. Overall, my frustration is not just about one isolated issue. It is about the entire process: repeated miscommunication, inaccurate design assumptions, unclear subcontractor coordination, changing expectations, and a feeling that I had to keep fighting to preserve the original design vision I clearly communicated from day one. For a high-end custom project, I expected a much smoother and more professional process. Instead, I felt like I had to constantly correct, clarify, and manage details that should have been understood and handled by the company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I'd post only after the credit card dispute is filed, not before, and keep screenshots/emails organized in case they respond publicly.

Our experience with this company was extremely frustrating. After paying our deposit, the project…read morewas ridden with missed appointments, poor communication, and repeated mistakes. Our primary point of contact, Chris, was responsible for coordinating the project, yet we frequently had to make multiple calls just to get updates or receive a response. On one occasion, workers arrived at our home, informed us they needed to leave to purchase materials, and then never returned that day. The problems extended far beyond scheduling. The initial measurements taken for our custom railings were inaccurate, resulting in the wrong product being fabricated. When installation day finally arrived, the wrong order was delivered. We were assured the mistakes would be corrected, only for another incorrect order to arrive later. The same crew was repeatedly sent back to address the issues, yet the problems remained unresolved. The quality of the installation itself was also concerning. The railings were improperly installed, caused damage to our walls and floors, and portions of the installation began pulling away from the wall within a month. Given that stair railings are a safety feature, this was particularly alarming and further diminished our confidence in the company's workmanship. What should have been a straightforward project turned into months of delays, repeated errors, broken promises, and constant follow-up on our part. We were repeatedly given timelines and assurances that were never honored, and obtaining updates often required persistent phone calls. The most disappointing part was not the mistakes themselves, but the lack of accountability and follow-through. Every issue seemed to require multiple calls and reminders, yet meaningful resolution never came. After months of frustration, we ultimately canceled the contract because we no longer trusted that the project would be completed correctly or safely. Mistakes can happen in any business, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, between the inaccurate measurements, incorrect fabrication, poor installation, wall damage, communication issues, missed appointments, and failure to stand behind the work, our experience was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this company.

They took out our old wrought iron rails and redid the whole balcony in cedar. It was a bit of a hunt to find cedar boards that weren't wavy and crooked, but they didn't settle and even drove hours somewhere north to find good lumber. They had amazing attention to detail--perfectly planing, sanding and staining each piece, and making sure I was happy with all the construction details throughout the process. I'm so happy with the end result! They were also thoughtful about other details, like neatly tucking their tools away on the side of the house and covering them with tarps at the end of the day. They shop vac'd and tidied their work area every day, mindful of the fact that I have two young kids who play in the back yard. Ted even brought us a batch of his homemade peanut brittle on the last day, which the aforementioned kids greatly appreciated :) Oh and Ted's bid was a good deal lower than the other bids I got for the job.
