This is the Cypresswood and Stuebner Airline location. The establishment was clean and restaurant always appears clean whenever I visit. The service is really dependent on your waitress. It's been hit and miss for me. The beef nachos are always good along with the drinks. I'm definitely a regular. This restaurant has lots of comfortable seating that's spacious too. I love the layout which makes you feel like you're at a private table, plus a quiet experience. You're not yelling over the crowds and/or music. It really is a great experience eating here. Our waiters and waitresses are always efficient and kind. The food is incredible. The fajitas and tacos are delicious and the tortilla soup is very unique and yummy. The chips are salty perfectly and brought out fresh and warm. I love the Amazon green sauce here too. read more

Great Place to come enjoy some Tex- Mex food. Every time I come to this location I get great customer service. If there is a wait I'm never waiting more and 20-30 minutes. I started off by ordering the Egg Rolls which were very flavorful. The cilantro cream sauce that it came with was a good combination. The poblano sauce and chicken enchiladas were delicious and the Shrimp/ Beef fajita quesadilla hit the spot. As a professional in Customer Service at one of largest Fortune 100 companies.. I take pride in appreciating when a customer spends there money they expect courtesy and respect, that was definitely not received from Grinngos Restaurant in Spring Texas last evening! Our team of of 12 members were dining and having a great time waiting for our food , talking and laughing when one of their Managers " Mike" stopped by our table stating could you please calm down and lower our voices ... since it was such an odd request music was playing loud and we were having regular conversations.. we asked had anyone complained we were confused.. Mike said No one had complained but HE felt HE NEEDED TO SAY SOMETHING.. we once again asked why ... He responded rudely because he thought it and that was just the way it was... it was an unbelievable response for us patrons that was having a regular team outing..defi discriminating and left such a disrespectful manner! Thiis location and Manager Mike will never have to concern about 12 customers and their families or friends returning to this restaurant... such a DISGRACEFUL Experience !! I grew up in Pearland - and a fan of Gringo's. Fast forwarded an undisclosed number of years - I have a Gringo's near me on the north side. This restaurant is next door to my son's swim school so we often pop in after swim class. During my last few visits, they've sat us in the bar area - and during the last few visits, my experience has been less than stellar. Mostly, it stems from service. I know restaurants are running bare bones due to staffing shortages, but the folks that were covering my table just flat out disappeared. In both of the last two visits, I had to flag someone else down for service. During one of my last visits, I also placed a to-go order. The order was only partially filled. I like Gringo's overall - especially their burger, but I'm just bummed on the recent consistent experience. read more

We are regulars at this location, but still call out on times of exceptional service. It was Friday so we may sure to get on the wait list and were 28th in line, but timed our arrival perfectly. They were busy, but our server, Jay Van, made sure to stop by and say hello and that he would be over in a sec to get our drink orders, but wanted to let us know he saw us. Sure enough, he was back in just a few minutes. It was very busy in there and we were tucked in a back corner, but he made sure to check on us, and when he did, it never felt rushed. He had mentioned he'd only been there a couple of weeks, but he seemed very comfortable and really added to our experience at one of our favorite spots! Food, as always, was on point! read more

Horrible service. Waited 20 mins for our drink order and the waiter never even thought to give us water while we waited. Then, one person ordered a bottle of beer and it expired in January of 2024. Sent it back. Asked for a different brand and yes, another 10 mins to get that. Our food came out timely and tasted ok. But our waiter literally checked on us 2 times. The food was ready for pick up in a reasonable time frame as well as the gentleman that brought the food out was pleasant. The queso was Ok. The chips were light and tasty. The presentation of the food was good. The flavor, not so much. The rice was bland and not your typical spanish rice. The fajita chicken seasoning was similar to Taco Cabana flavor. My husband said his ground beef taco wasn't that good either. Maybe it was a hit or miss type of night. It wasn't for us. But give it a try. You may like the food. read more

You can never go wrong Gringo's... The food is good for the price and the customer service is always amazing.

We went to Gringo's again this weekend and we're reminded how lucky we are to have such a reliable go-to Tex-Mex place in our neighborhood. Gringo's is everything you want from a local Tex-Mex joint: excellent food across every variety, reasonable prices, professional service, and very very consistent. I don't understand the negative reviews here - they must be going to a different place or ordering different dishes, but we've been all over the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Make no mistake, this is not fine dining but this is neighborhood Tex-Mex at its best. You get what you pay for here, and more. We have ranged far and wide trying to find better or cheaper or more, and keep coming back. It beats El Tiempo on price and consistency. It beats Goode Company in The Woodlands on price. It beats Chuy's on everything. Sure, five stars seems generous, but this restaurant is exactly what it purports to be, and it does it every day, all day, and always has. read more

The chicken for fajitas good quality tender chicken breasts & steak, fresh veggies & the rice excellent. I almost NEVER eat the rice at Mexican restaurants because it's so bland & flavorless or tomato based rice, not here it was packed with flavor. So went here today to have some soup and take away last nights adventure buuuuuuttt not so bueno.. Chips came out fresh indeed but very oily.. Tip-- let drain or sit for a minute before serving... I don't want to see or touch the grease. Then soup came but was lukewarm and I believe we were the first customers of the day so there is no excuse for that.. Hmmm what else... Strawberry lemonade is way too syrupy, tortilla strips u put in soup as a topping were stale, refried beans had no flavor and quesadilla was all cheese... I mean I came bc it's by church and its convenient but they never quite get the food right here... The staff is nice and service is good but the gringos towards sugarland is way better!! Great food, customer service was amazing, the bartender was super sweet and was giving me so many options and ideas, she's some what talk and wears glasses, didn't get her name, but she was fantastic; I got a shrimp avocado salad, and it was amazing, it had beans, corn, and tortillas curls (and more) that added an amazing texture to the plate, it was pretty good, didn't get to eat the shrimp since I'm a vegetarian, but my friend said that they were great!!!; I do wish they had some vegetarian or vegan options on the menus, but other than that, it was great!!!! read more
