Ok... Came in about 3:00pm... Very slow to be seated though the restaurant was half filled... Seated and very slow for our waiter to come and greet us... He was a little arrogant or I was hangry... Caddilac Margarita tastes like water and tequila ( tastes bad), Bloody Mary was spot on. Food was typically great.. overall, the service here was subpar vs. my previous visits to this and other locations... Maybe they we understaffed.. but not typical nor impressed.. first time 3 Star for Gringo's... Just my opinion. read more

Made sure our food came in a timely manner, our cups stayed full, our table clean, and even went out of her way to clean the floor from the mess the previous patrons made. Came here to meet up with a group of friends - we had lots of little ones with us. Our waitstaff were so thoughtful and put us in a room where the kids could be more free to roam and make more noise. Each kid had a coloring sheet and lots of delicious chips and salsa! We got the cheese quesadillas and bowl of tortilla soup. I had no idea how big the tortilla soup was going to be! It was hearty with a bunch of veggies, rich broth, and delicious chicken. I got fresh avocado on the side and that elevated the soup so much. The kiddos enjoyed every cheesy bite of their quesadillas. Unfortunately the soft serve machine's chocolate was putting out liquid and the vanilla was not fully set but we still helped ourselves! Definitely recommend this family friendly place - the food is delicious and you get good service! read more

Gringo's is one of my favorite places to grab TexMex in the Spring area! The salsa is by far my favorite thing to order (I typically order this to go when I want to eat chips and salsa at home). Sitting inside of the restaurant always has great service and a busy atmosphere. To-go orders can sometimes be hit or miss, but typically are pretty good. The parking lot feels safe since there are a number of other businesses nearby, and always a security guard in the lot when you enter the Gringo's area. Our latest try here were the Banderas Enchiladas and they did not disappoint! read more

I came in with my Dad after spending all day moving furniture and working on my new house and she was absolutely AMAZING with us!!!! First of all we came in close to closing (sorry!) and you'd never have known from the wonderful service we got!! She kept drinks full and we were very thirsty from the whole day!! Apparently you are only allowed to have two beers here. Even after waiting 45 min to be seated. You can have more jumbo margaritas if you like, but getting a third beer, out of the question. They will cut off! Makes absolutely no sense and they were extremely rude. Will never be back read more

Normally we love it here but this time my varacruz fajitas were raw and watery. No one is perfect but for the price we expect it to be good but we were disappointed. Our server was real nice and the place was clean so I hope this isn't the direction they are going. read more

I grew up next to the original gringos and every location I have ever visited has served solid tex mex. It's always delicious and fresh. The ambiance is nice and relaxed. It is comfortable and they have a free ice cream machine. Today our server, Rebeca, was amazing. She was attentive and prompt. I have been a customer of this particular Gringos for years so it pains me to write this. On Thursday evening I bought a quart of green sauce. The chips were stale so I asked that they be replaced while I was still at the puck-up spot. When I got home, I put the sauce and chips away. On Friday my intent was to enjoy my purchase. Well the sauce was like water and the chips - yes stale. I took everything back and spoke with a manager who replaced all items, but really wasn't happy about doing so. Fast forward to Saturday. I get my chips and salsa ready to eat and not only were the chips stale, the green sauce was so hot that even the people in the house who like hot stuff couldn't eat it. Since the sauce has never been like that, I can only guess that it was intentionally spiked with hot flavoring to teach me a lesson. Well it worked- I NEVER write reviews, but this was warranted. I will never-ever use this Gringos again. My tongue and throat burned so bad and still my stomach is upset. It was awful - simply awful. read more

Came here to use babes $25 gift card from Christmas Secret Santa Exchange. It was packed for a Thursday afternoon. Had to wait 30 mins for a table. The chips sucked but the salsa made up for it! Seemed like we had to wait another 30 for our food to cook as well. Had a michelada and a combination plate with black beans. The beans came brown at first. Then it was more a dark brown and wasn't good then black beans. Which was a bit upsetting cause I love black beans. Babe had a seafood plate which way way better than mine! Tex Mex restaurants are a dime a dozen in these parts, but Gringo's sets itself apart on ambience, value, and impeccable service. Danny took care of us today on the massive outdoor patio. So you know the deal right? Every time you go to a Mexican restaurant, the first thing you do is dig into the irresistible chips and salsa and before you know it you're wishing someone would come and refill ya. Not a problem at Gringo's with Danny on the case--basket was refilled before we reached the bottom, and he brought a salsa dispenser to top off our bowls too! This is madness. In my business we call this a "customer delighter" and what sets you apart from the competition. I'll divert my attention from the chip replenishment process to comment on the food--excellent. Our table hand flautas, burritos, and pulled pork enchiladas. I can speak personally for the enchiladas and they were fantastic. Only wish there were more on the plate. Only two were served. Then when we got our check I paid it online because there was a QR code on the receipt to pay it quickly. After we left she followed us to the parking lot and said we didn't pay our tab which we did. When I told her how I paid it she said next time I need to let her know but she wasn't around. Just not a great experience. I paid more than what I expected and still was questioned. read more
