    Mix Grill for 3
    Win C.

Absolutely amazing! A patient recommended me this place and it only took us months to try. We ordered the Mix grill for 3 and it was so much food that I wasn't expecting. It came with rice, fries, pickles, picked cabbages and cold slaw. The chicken/beef were the star of the show and they were so tendered, juicy and seasoned so well (with minimal salt). I saved the lamb for the hubby cause I'm not a fan of the gamey taste. we also ordered a side of the babaghanoush and it was so good! I will definitely be back to try their Shawarma

Wow-- what a huge portion for the price! If you're looking to be full, this is the place to be. Otherwise, you will want to ask for a to-go box at the end The meats are well seasoned with grill flavor, and you can choose any amount of salads and sauces you wish to include inside the pita/laffa. Get ready to open your mouth as wide as possible to bite into this! We haven't tried the entrée size yet, but the portion size of the pita/laffa is already generous. The fries still have the skin on and remind me of Belgian fries Pro tip: the garlic mayo dipping sauce is da BOMB, especially with the fries. If you're a sauce boy like me, you can ask them for the squeeze bottle of the garlic mayo :) The waitress serving us provided impressive service and was very organized. She was attentive and respectful when taking our orders and was observant and aware when we had requests. The space was well lit with high ceilings and well ventilated as well.

Delicious shawarma with an array of different sauces! I had the combination of lamb-turkey and baby chicken shawarma wrapped in laffa. I would definitely recommend this option and fill it with sauces and salads. I got the garlic mayo which was amazing, as well as tabouli, tahini, babaganoush, and Moroccan eggplant. One sandwich is more than enough to fill you up. You can even split a sandwich if you get some sides. We also tried the falafel and the arais. The waitress was very nice and gave us a bunch of extra sauces to dip our meal into on the side. The restaurant is a bit cozy, but fits the family vibe, and they keep it pretty clean. Street parking around the neighborhood.

Baby chicken shawarma with fries on the side (this looks small but it's actually huuge)

The food is very flavorful and delicious! My friends and I went for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised with what we got. There are so many different ways to make the pita/entree bowl you want. I personally got the baby chicken shwarma with hummus and lafa bread with the fries on the side. It was so good, and SO BIG! I could barely even finish half the sandwich. The kind waiter also gave us all the sauces to try, and oh my goodness they were all so yummy as well. My favorite sauces were the "spicy sauce", which isn't too spicy, as well as the garlic mayo and the tahini sauce. The restaurant has a counter area where you can order the food and ask for what to place on it, and there is a back area you can eat restaurant style as well. The sunday afternoon we went, it was initially quiet but then the restaurant got really busy! This place is definitely well loved- you should try it too!

I recently went on a falafel quest to Queens and tried several places. Since the closing of my favorite place Hummus World in Roslyn there's nothing on Long Island. This was the best falafel sandwich I've had since going vegan. Great favorite, awesome hummus and tahini, pickles, red cabbage and spicy carrots. I also brought home mixed shawarma of chicken and lamb for the family. Authentically carved from the spigot. Other places pull meat from a draw and fry it up but not here. The place was packed mid-day. Manager was very friendly once I figured out the you order in the back. She recommended mix shawarmam with Israeli salad and fries. My son never lifted his head up while eating lol. Worth the drive and I'm already planning another trip. The atmosphere is clean and neat but no thrills. Food was still awesome even after a drive back to Suffolk County during rush hour traffic. Great job! Order in the back at the end of the counter and get a ticket unless you're staying. Then the front crew makes your food to order. Don't forget to ask for a couple of spicy green sauce and to pour your own tahini. You'll want a few. Absolutely delicious!

    Pita schwarma

My boyfriend has been telling me about the fries at Grill point for two months ever since we went to another schwarma place he didn't like. We came here when it was very busy around 6:30 on our way home from a long drive to a very important and difficult appointment with a Rabbi in BK. The girl at the front with pretty blonde hair was nice and friendly. She took our order and made us feel comfortable despite the hectic feel. I got a lamb schwarma plate, and he got a schwarma pita. Mine came with two sides, a salad, and a pita. I got potatos and grilled veggies that had perfect flavor. His came stuffed with lamb schwarma, chumus, salad and eggplant. Liz was so nice and came over to our table with a huge smile, kind words and big plate of fresh french fries. I don't know if she realized she just made our day. Aside for having a very emotionally draining day, my bf had been sick the last two days and couldn't eat a thing. I hadnt even seen him eat onc the whole entire day. I was very worried about him getting too weak. Liz also mentioned she noticed him eating seldomly. One thing he said amazed him was how the line workers were so friendly and didn't get stressed out with tons of people asking them for so many things all at once. I agreed that I was very impressed with their patience and how they asked us if we needed anything else and even said "good bye and thank you for coming". I worked in restaurants myself and seen the stressful environment that comes along with it. This was the opposite. There is a long wait sometimes but the food is fresh and hot, and you will be treated nicely. All that makes this the greatest kosher grill in Queens. Highly recommend to all! Don't even think twice.

Located in Kew Gardens, Grill Point is a corner grill serving up Israeli grilled foods. Walking through the door, you are immediately greeted by the sight and smell of chicken shawarma roasting on a vertical broiler. Its a relatively small restaurant with wooden chairs and tables. We ordered: Eggplant in tomato sauce Chicken Shawarma and rice Ambience / Decor: old school wooden tables and chairs. Food: Chicken Shawarma was very well seasoned and very flavorful. It has the aromatic char from the grill, but is still very moist at the same time. Adding the house hot sauce really elevates this even further. The Eggplant in tomato sauce is the perfect dip for the huge Laffa bread they give you. Service: Very friendly people who will explain the menu to you. TL/DR: Grill Point is the jewel on Jewel Blvd. This is my go to place if I am ever in the mood for Israeli grilled food. Just be sure not to bring any food from outside, as they have to keep the place Kosher.

Baby Chicken Shish Kebab in Pita

Tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it. I was a little intimidated to go inside since it was so busy and I didn't even know what to order. As soon as I came in, I noticed how fresh the salad bar looked. I ordered their baby chicken kebab with pita that comes with fries, any fillings, and two side salads. I got their cold slaw and pickles. The cashier was super friendly which was great. The line to actually get your food was long but worth the wait. The men of the grill were super friendly and prepared my food to go. When I got home, I enjoyed my chicken kebab. It is honestly the most delicious kebab I have ever eaten. The chicken was super moist and juicy, the flavor was delicious mixed with the hummus, white sauce, onions, cucumbers and a green spicy sauce they added. The fries could have been a little crunchier but the meal overall was super satisfying. Will definitely be returning and trying other items from their menu.

Love their shwarma but it's so pricey! It's over $12 to get a shwarma. But I justify it by the fact that it's kosher and yummy!

Chicken Chapli was great before but I wanted to try the jujeh kabob because it was pictured in the menu. I always assume if the restaurant chooses to feature a particular dish visually on the menu, there must be something to it. It's good. Similar to the chapli the jujeh kabob has that intimidating color and spicy aroma and you'd naturally feel timid about burning your esophagus. But it's not like that. The bone in chicken pieces are very tender and there's citrus notes there along with the char from the grill. Super tasty.

While perusing the menu trying to figure out what we were going to order I went back and forth between the combos. I looked at their combos to see if there was anything that could feed a family of two, but everything was geared towards a family of four and more. The combos are ridiculously priced. You'd think you were buying a few catering trays. We ultimately settled on two orders of the Two Chicken Tikka and the Chicken Samosas. I asked for extra white sauce and Pamir did not oblige. I didn't care for the samosas, nor the chicken tikka meal. My husband liked it. He also preferred the white sauce from here instead of Kabul's. While the food was decent it doesn't compare to Kabul. It was a solid 3.5. I was really taken aback by the size of the chicken kebabs and the portions we received. The kebabs were extremely small. There wasn't enough for any leftovers.

The manager (or owner, not sure) lady was super friendly and gave us some recommendations, some of which we followed. We ordered the rice pilaf, which was moist, soft but not overcooked, and amazingly seasoned. The roasted eggplant in tahini was terrific; it was roasted to perfection with no bitterness that sometimes eggplant could have if undercooked. The carrot salad was spicy yet refreshing. Lastly we had the beef luyla kabab (the ground beef kabab) and Pargit (young chicken) thighs kabab which both were melting in our mouths. You didn't need teeth for that. Again, its easy to overcook over the grill, but not when you know what you're doing. The offered their home compote for a refreshing beverage, which was indeed appropriate for this summer day and without the extra sweetness most compost have. Don't judge it for being Glatt Koaher. It will take any doubts, if you have any, with your first bite! In conclusion: come hungry, you'd want to eat everything on the menu. I took the takeout menu as I know I'll order some, given I live in the neighborhood. My apologies, we forgot to take a pic of the kababs!
