The manager cursed at my 90 Year old grandfather. I brought my car in to have the hood opened after a very small fender benderand which had occurred a month earlier. The car had been running perfectly the whole time in between, including this day.They opened the hood and put in some fluids. Then I went to leave (15 minutes had passed at most) and the car would not run at ALL. They looked at it and after about three minutes said "well, we don't know, you aren't getting any fuel pressure at all." I was naturally upset and wanted to know what had happened. The manager said that it was just coincidence. When I questioned this, he literally began screaming at me and just going crazy! He demanded that I get someone to tow it instantly and told his mechanics not to even speak to me (this was in the first 30 seconds of the conversation, I was completely shocked and had no idea what to do). My grandfather asked to speak to him on the phone when I called to tell him what happened and the manager proceeded to scream and curse at him. If I was reading this I would assume that myself and my grandfather MUST have been being difficult, but I was never aggressive in anyway and never even raised my voice, even while being screamed at, nor did my 90 year old grandfather. I had to have the car towed to another garage and am awaiting news on it. It's unfortunate because all of the other mechanics were nice and it's possible that whatever happened to the car was an honest mistake on their part, but after the way the manager behaved, I just left in tears (and I am 35 years old). As for the miracle of my car just magically going from perfectly fine to not running at all in 15 minutes when all they did was add some oil and transmission fluid, I find that an awfully remarkable coincidence, but I will let you draw your own conclusions about that. If I find out anything that might be helpful from the other garage I will certainly post it. Good luck. read more
