I bought a Reese's peanut butter cup that was stale & old. The peanut butter was crumbling. Took it back & there was no manager there to address my issues. The young man at the counter was extremely dismissive, rude & nasty! It was only $4 but it was my hard earned $4 so I understand that it wasn't an emergency or urgent but he told me to step to the side so he could help the other customers in line & call his manager. He helped the other customer & proceeded to ignore me until another customer came in. He helped them & them ignored me again. Never even attempted to call the manager. read more

The pumps worked fine and I heard no complaints from my kids in the restroom. The sweet lady at the Subway in there was very nice and accommodating even tho we ordered sandwiches at 830 in the morning! read more

They have cool lil tvs at the gas pump. Unfortunately the bathrooms are terrible. They must be awful if my Honey said he didn't want to use the restroom. He said he had to lift the toilet seat with his foot and there was paper all over the floor. Tisk. Tisk. read more

The staff is friendly and I find it reassuring to have a place like this around, well lit and safe and open pretty late on the main street. It has sodas and candy and snacks and some alcoholic beverages if one wants to byo. It's catty-corner from the park. They take cards over $5, which seems fair. They're open about as late as you'd expect in most cities.

What a load of crap. My husband and I tested positive for Covid this morning. Sadly, my husband told his care provider to call in the prescription for Paxlovid to Walgreens. Since this Walgreens is a 1/4 mile from our house, and we feel like shit, I asked my provider to send my RX to this dump too. They have had this RX since 10AM!! After calling numerous times, and never being able to speak to a human, we gave up. But the recorded message we listened to at 4pm informed us that my husband's meds were out of stock, and there was an insurance problem causing a delay in filling mine. Another load of Walgreens crap. I called my doc, and explained the sloppy management of our prescriptions. She agreed, and called it into the Publix pharmacy on Florida St. In stock and no insurance issues, ready in 45 minutes. This medication is supposed to be started asap. The Walgreens at 1320 Government St does NOT care about your health. It is plain nasty. I wouldn't fill my dog's meds there. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. You will be treated with respect, get your meds in a timely fashion and won't be lied to.

Unfortunately the cinnamon roll was not great. It was hard as a rock. They didn't even warm it up the frosting that went with the cinnamon roll was fairly good but couldn't get over eating a rock.

It is as close to lunch time, so I went with the lunch special, where I chose 2 fresh slices of pepperoni and sausage pizza, and a drink for 9 bucks! It's a pretty good deal! They got my order ready to go pretty quickly, and I took it to my car, since the place is small and they have no dine in seating. While I was waiting, a lady came in and picked up an enormous pizza, bigger than you'll find at any chain restaurant. It was so large, she had to put the seats down in the back of her SUV to fit it in the hatch. But enough about that. Let's get to the main event! That pizza was pretty amazing! The crust was golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and pillowy on the inside. The sauce, which I believe is made in house, was sufficiently tangy and tasted very fresh. The pepperoni was cooked crisp and wasn't overly greasy and the sausage had a great, robust flavor that was the star of the show. This is everything I love about a great pizza, and it's local, so that's just one more praise to sing about it! I paired it with a bottle of Coke, which absolutely was perfect with this pizza. So if you're out in West Mobile, this little place is worth a stop. Grab a slice, or a pie for the entire family. It does not disappoint. They also have pasta on their menu, which gives me a reason to go back and try something else!
