The staff doesn't turn over at all and are all lovely. The SF cops hang out here so it is a great place to get the local updates w/o gossip. Great for quick propane exchanges as well! It smells weird. That is where the star went.

I came in to get some flavored waters and I did manage to find a few bottles. It took.a bit of hunting and again, the selection was a bit weak. The woman at the checkout lane was friendly enough. The store seemed a bit worn on the edges, but nothing terrible. I will give this particular Piggly Wiggly three stars overall.

Just stepping inside the door smelled heavenly, with aromatic coffee and spices wafting throughout as you shop. There was a steady stream of customers and phone calls for those of us doing our Christmas shopping. There were probably a few tourists, too, as Dees Pecans is a well-known destination for perfect pecans, pecan pies, candies, marinades, and other homemade treats. I checked the website and learned about the basic offerings, but once inside, I found out the storefront had so much more available. I ordered a Chocolate Pecan Pie, which Dees can ship in a custom tin to safeguard the pie to reach its destination. I added Dark Chocolate Pecans, Roasted and Salted Pecans, and another favorite, the Pecan Pie in a Jar. Lastly, I bought Key Lime Pecans and Cinnamon Pecans - two delicious powdered flavors! Everyone at Dee's was friendly and helpful in explaining the different flavors of pecans and coffee. The order went smoothly, and the Chocolate Pecan Pie and other items are expected to ship soon. My daughter and her husband will enjoy a taste of Dees Pecans to remind them of Alabama and home. I look forward to the next occasion and time I visit Dees Pecan Company.
