It is run by a family who adds daily to the veg options from their own farm - love it. All the offerings we saw (fruit & veg) were all top quality and ready to be picked up .. no weepy and dated stock which we loved. They also have great jarred options, dairy, frozen and much more. Bolognese, Italian sausage, mushroom & bell pepper and Italian sausage & mushroom are my favs. Haven't tried the vodka sauce yet but I will. I normally make my tomato sauce from scratch like in The Godfather but I was pressed for time lol. So, this store has a ton of organic and fresh food products. Their meat department has friendly employees willing to help you with any questions about the enormous display of meats & seafood and if you need need fresh cuts of meats, they got you. I love that they still have butchers in this supermarket. I also love that there's a mix of meats like crab cakes, stuffed pork chops, tempura shrimp, stuffed duck and salmon burgers. Oh and the deli is also desirous with all sorts of pre-made lunches and dinners. Everything looked so tantalizing The store is a bit pricey but I love the variety of foods offered and great quality items. Reminds me of Kings Supermarket in Garden City, NY. So, for the reason of my visit: Rao's was only $5.99 and I bought 20 jars...yeah, it's just that amazing plus it's like $9.00+ a jar at other local grocers. Just stepping inside the door smelled heavenly, with aromatic coffee and spices wafting throughout as you shop. There was a steady stream of customers and phone calls for those of us doing our Christmas shopping. There were probably a few tourists, too, as Dees Pecans is a well-known destination for perfect pecans, pecan pies, candies, marinades, and other homemade treats. I checked the website and learned about the basic offerings, but once inside, I found out the storefront had so much more available. I ordered a Chocolate Pecan Pie, which Dees can ship in a custom tin to safeguard the pie to reach its destination. I added Dark Chocolate Pecans, Roasted and Salted Pecans, and another favorite, the Pecan Pie in a Jar. Lastly, I bought Key Lime Pecans and Cinnamon Pecans - two delicious powdered flavors! Everyone at Dee's was friendly and helpful in explaining the different flavors of pecans and coffee. The order went smoothly, and the Chocolate Pecan Pie and other items are expected to ship soon. My daughter and her husband will enjoy a taste of Dees Pecans to remind them of Alabama and home. I look forward to the next occasion and time I visit Dees Pecan Company.

This store has been here a long long time. Ownership has changed over the years but the store has…read morestayed very friendly. It's not a chain, or "big box" type of gas station. Trina and Don are a very sweet couple, their kids work there occasionally, they are just a local family providing locals with a service! And right now they have the cheapest gas in Grand Bay. They sell 100% gas (for boats and lawn equipment). The newer big brand gas station moved in across the street but it has been my mission to make sure Trina and Don do good business! Oh yeah and she makes a great cup of coffee!!!!
