First and last time trying this location. Came in to check out the selection and inquire about…read moretheir 1/4 cow special advertised on social media. Sadly, just had an outright rude and obnoxious staff interaction with the lady that was "helping" us. She cut me off twice when I was asking questions about the grade of certain cuts. The she flat out was rude to my wife when she asked a question about the cuts and grade of the quarter cow deal. When I'm trying to ask the grade of a pichana or tri-tip, I don't care to be cut off and man-splained where the cut comes from. I will say that the rest of the staff seem quite pleasant, helpful, and friendly when they weren't getting talked over by the wicked witch of the West. I hate this and I hate to give negative reviews, but this is one staff interaction that just spoiled this location for me completely. I understand everyone has bad days, and I think she understood how rude she was being when my wife snapped back and asked for us to check out immediately so we could leave, her demeanor changed completely. I hope they figure out their personnel issue, we love the location in Lucedale. I'll drive to Lucedale, Grand Bay or even Pensacola before I come back to this butcher shop though.

Need an absurdly good beer selection? Apparently also yes. And the beer selection is honestly one of my favorite parts. So many uniquely coastal beers and fun finds I would never see at home. Way better than most stores where I'm from. The best part is they basically have no competition. They could completely phone it in and everyone would still have to shop there. But they don't. Somehow they've created this amazing little island store that has a bit of everything and is genuinely great. Hats off to them. My only request: PLEASE give me a pick-six beer option because I want to try everything without committing to six of everything. 10/10. Came in for snacks, left emotionally attached to a convenience store.
