An employee badge #8147 Register #002 Store #00016 asked for my ID, after she looked at my ID, she said to me "Hong kong." I was confused at first when she said that to me because I'm of Asian descent. I asked her what did she say again? And she said to me again, "You're driver's license says you're from Hong Kong." From my understanding, I don't see anywhere on my ID that says "HONG KONG" and it's a American Driver's License. I was born in the States and I speak Perfect English and I can understand clearly when someone is trying to think they can get away with being racist against me because maybe she assumed I can't speak English well. I told her immediately that she is a racist person and that comment was uncalled for and I don't think it was funny at all. She didn't say anything afterwards besides "omg" under her breath. She didn't even apologize for her comment. I don't appreciate being discriminated against and I also don't think Greer Employees especially the store managers care about complaints from customers at all either because I called them and they told me that the store manager wasn't in until Monday. I talked to Deborah to let me speak with the store manager who passed the phone to Sarah and Sarah told me the store manager wasn't working until Monday.
