They have a seafood dept that has a variety to choose from, mostly known for their boiled shrimp and crawfish~Cajun style. We like the seafood dips they have, especially the smoked tuna a dip. They have the best key lime pie in town. So, I usually have one of those in my freezer. Oh, they have a big area for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. You name it, Rouse's probably has it. Rouse's is more convenient to the beach than other grocery stores, but it may be a little pricier. You have to weigh the pros and the cons, like all other places. Note: pics taken from Rouse's online site.

In…read moremy opinion one thing that separates Rouse from other grocery stores is all the fresh made foods that's available hot and ready to eat like jambalaya and other specialties and of course the fresh baked breads and rolls, who can resist? This location has a fresh sushi count that looked amazing and a great selection of fresh or steamed fish and seafood. I love walking down the aisles to see all the things you'd never find in most grocery stores, the staff here is very welcoming and outgoing and always ready to help direct you to anything you need. I just heard Rouse purchased (10) more Winn Dixie locations that they plan to renovate and rebrand them under the Rouse name, unfortunately none close to my home but it's great news for their Louisiana and Mississippi loyal customers. If you've never entered a Rouse Market you definitely need to check them out...

This is the second time this happened to me this year,I go in there on Tuesdays because they have…read morethe ground chuck /chicken breast on sale and I like to take advantage of this sale by stocking up my freezer and they have a great quality of meat and more ,but it's the checking out part for me . Previously my daughter got fired because I used her discount card and the cashier didn't want to grab the card out my hand she waited and pointed at the place where you scan your items across for me to scan it not her and yes I understand its their policy for family not to use the card,! but the same exact thing happened again on Tuesday of this week except I didn't have a discount card ,so when I finished shopping after I asked a young lady in the coffee area for the small container of okra chips and she was very friendly and she walked me right over to them with no problem. So that was my last item I go to check out , it was no wait line as she bagged my groceries , I paid with my debit card so no she didn't have to touch my hand or anything ,she looked and actually started reaching for the next customer groceries to scan so I grabbed my bags of groceries and she left my receipt on the printer for me to grab it off instead of handing it to me,so I said thank you after grabbing my bags and all she said was you welcome but did NOT hand me my receipt like what is wrong with you people in these roles at your job as a cashier she had no customer service skills other than scanning the groceries and I like fresh market but they cashiers are rude to a certain degree and I just want to know why.? I wish it was another one here in mobile so I wouldn't have to go back to this one but I may just start going across the bay to Daphne because this is awful I'm very disappointed as I was before and that cashier name was Madison in case anyone else had the same experience as me.

My husband asked her to change her gloves and she seemed disgruntled about the request. He walked away without deli meat due to the health concerns. She should have washed and dried her hands, then put the clear plastic gloves to pull the meat out and slice. Totally disgusting. We also bought 3 sweet potatoes from the produce section and 2 of the 3 were rotten inside once we went home to bake them. However, the muffaletta sandwich was incredible. 1 out of 3! We are visiting my father in law for a week. We went to Piggly Wiggly because of the good reviews and the proximity to his dad's home, but we will be going to Publix moving forward.

Everybody seems to know him, he is such a friendly guy. He is also an enabler. You will come in looking for a sandwich or hummus and walk out with $250 of stuff. I know because it's happened to me. The samples are generous and the food sells itself. In the past I have enjoyed the muffaletta, hummus, bulgur wheat with lentils, tabouli, fresh bread, and more. It is all very good. If you have a lot of people to feed, this is a great place to buy in bulk.

The store is/was well organized, arrangements of fruits and vegetables as well as meats and in the aisles were aesthetucally pleasing. Every team member and manager I came across was very pleasant, smiled and were all professional. I was even offered help to take my two bags to the car, I found that to be above and beyond and so that builds on customer/guest loyalty. This store, from what I understand is one of the few that carries pool supplies, in West Mobile where polls are a staple, this addition is well thought out. They also carry Ezeikel breads, Elmhurst tree nut "milks" (only two ingredients in every box) and other items previously carried by Whole Foods. The parking lot is expansive and unlike other malls/lots that have two way traffic, this has one way thoroughfares, much better for safety and will definitely mitigate vehicular incidences. They are open daily and the hours should be posted by yealp soon from the update.
