Wednesday at 11AM. What a sincere dissapointment visiting this store. The one shining star (only…read moreone) was Kayley in the 2nd floor small appliance area. She greeted us when we arrived in her section, asked if she could help, helped us checkout and was converstional and friendly. I told her she was the first person in the store to utter a single word to us despite us visiting sunglasses, perfume, clothing and bedding areas prior to reaching her area. We encountered many employees that looked down while we were in talking distance. Why are stores like this dissapearing, hmm, look no further than what we experienced here. Shameful, since we can buy this on the internet. Today we purchased a Cuisinart toaster, that did not work when we got home. We packed it back up amd came back to the store and assumed we would go to customer service to return the toaster, nope. Apparently, customer service does not do returns, maybe this department should be named something else. After waiting for the person in the back room packing something who is clearly not paying any attention or aware of us waiting at the counter in customer service. When she finally looked at the counter, she came to help us, another girl showed up and said you have to go back to where you bought this, I explained be bought it here at Dillards. No, you need to go back to the department. Good grief. So we went back to the department where Kayley was still smiling, she gladly helped us again. In Georgia, this was my go to store for many things throughout the year. I will buy from the internet rather than come back in this store again. Why bother to have a store with so many workers if you can only point to one shining star. The mall has many empty stores, wonder why? Look no further than Dillard's to get the answer. Malls are over. I never need something today, I can wait if this is the level of service I receive.

Kenya, or the lady wearing her name tag was very unfriendly, unwelcoming and didn't give me what I asked for. Her attitude and demeanor was just horrible. She never asked if she could help me. She just stood there looking at me. I had to ask, does your staring at me means you're ready to assist me? And she shook her head. I'm a South Florida native currently living in New Orleans. I always loved shopping at Publix because of the experience. Their slogan used to be, "Where shopping is a pleasure!" It certainly was not today. I come all the way from NOLA to shop at the Publix stores in Mobile because there are none in New Orleans and I'd be darned if I come this far to get terrible service. I'm not a Karen but I will be one today and notify the manager. Kenya was supremely unpleasant and I will never visit this store again. Then I wanted a couple orders of 20 pcs breaded chicken wings and the guy says he's sorry but he's busy with a 100 wing order and couldn't make my order. Pathetic!! This never happens at any other store I've been to. The Publix stores in Saraland and Spanish Fort were stellar compared to this one.

It was not in the cooler when she arrived and unfortunately when she arrived home the cake had slid off its base. There were no support rods in the layers. (I found out later that is not Publix's standard. They should change this!) I took it back in the morning to see if Public could make it right and Cherish had it ready before the party. I really appreciate and recommend the bakery staff at this location. Thank you!!!

There was no clutter, the aisles were clear, there were plenty of baskets in store and the store smelled great. Why have I been avoiding Ollie's? I found everything I needed and just decided to browse. There is a huge selection of household items here and at great prices. It reminds me of Ole Tyme Pottery, but smaller. Customer service was great, there was a line but several friendly cashiers were working. While it is kinda out of the way, I would definitely stop in here again. Update: I picked up some bed sheets and I was very impressed with quality. Hmm, guess who's going back to Ollie's? Me, silly. Hope to see ya there.

When I tell you Charla is a real American hero, believe me. Yes, I waited until the last minute to…read morefind Halloween treat bags for a major project that I took on. And yes, of course there seemed to be, not a single treat bag left in the city. You'd think that a person needing roughly 160 treat bags would plan accordingly, right?! Yep, and then there's me-- but in my defense, I've been busy this October! (I digress) I called ahead in Charla helped me tremendously. She let me know how many bags were left, and I squealed with glee! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her to hold them for me as I just knew they'd be there when I arrived 7 minutes later. Joke was on me-- a customer beat me to them, and was at the register checking out with half of "my" bags when I arrived. I resisted the urge to arm wrestle her for them, I mean this isn't a Black Friday sale for goodness' sake! Now, Charla had already done enough but upon seeing this, she scoured her back stock and the entire store to help me find what I needed. She dug under items and went through every aisle to help me come out triumphant. Instead of judging me as the last-minute shopper that I am in this case, and saying "Sorry, we are out" like the other 3 stores I visited, she sprang into action and help save my day. Thank you Charla! You are the customer service queen! Now, Charla aside-- I'm a fan of ANY store that gives me a quality product for a single doll-hair! Some of my favorite party supplies and props have been purchased at The Tree over the years (don't even get me started on how this store was clutch in my college days), and clearly continues to be to this day! Lol! I'm thankful for you Dollar Tree, you continue to be a consistent, ol' faithful! Salud!

It's probably all spoiled. The freezers are PACKED with food and not terribly cold Then the 2 cashiers...lmao. Wow. Just wow. As I walked up one was eating from a bag of chips. She was picking them out of the bag with 2 fingers, all while talking and snacking. Then she licked her fingers, wiped them on her clothes than rang up my purchases lol. The other cashier...well she was filing her nails and nail debris flying everywhere. This entire experience. I felt like I was on a hidden camera because this can't be real. No pics of the cashiers. Not trying to get my butt beat lol.

The staff was super friendly, checkout was seamless, and they take Apple Pay. But can we talk about the bathrooms?! Hands down some of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen on a road trip and after traveling I-95 South and I-85 North, I feel qualified to judge My only tiny complaint: no regular milk for the coffee! They had half-and-half and flavored creamers, but sometimes you just want plain old milk in your coffee. Maybe that's a Southern rest-stop thing? I don't know, but I was looking forward to it Either way, this was an excellent stop. Clean, bright, friendly, easy in and out, and somewhere I'd absolutely recommend whether you're traveling with the whole family or road-tripping solo.

We ducked into the restrooms for a quick stop and they were in great shape, the kind of clean that makes the whole visit feel easier.
