Came here in the morning for my mom's birthday brunch and we tried the skillet since we wanted something different. It is located in the mini strip mall and the restaurant itself is little but cozy. Employees are friendly and quick to serve. I got the Griddle Skillet and my mom got the Gobbler Skillet. Both had potatoes that came with it and we got our eggs over medium. On the side, we got toast to go with our skillet. You have the option to order biscuits and gravy instead of toast. Everything tasted delicious. We left full and satisfied. read more

Really amazing food. Extremely flavorful. I'm an "eyes bigger than my stomach" person and I wanted a little of everything but decided instead to get one blue jay griddle cake as a side to my crab benedict. Both delicious and highly recommend. Massive portion so be ready. My friend got the griddle skillet and she absolutely loved it. It's really big and very hearty so bring your appetite. She especially like the chicken in it staying that is was really juicy. Heads up: we got there at opening and had about a 45 minute wait. There's a lot in the strip mall it's located in so you can do a little walk about to fill time. There's also only one type of syrup, maple. Nothing wrong with that but just letting you know. read more

Food was fine. Got a meat lovers scramble. And a pancake. The pancake was pretty darn good. The scramble was fine. The turkey sausage (link) is the consistency of a Vienna sausage, weird. Gravy for biscuits was kinda bland. I'm from the South, so we know good peppered gravy for biscuits. Biscuits were actually pretty good too, sans gravy. Customer service was outstanding. Loved our host, server, coffee filler guy. Seated us so promptly. Good breakfast place. Just gotta pick the right items. read more

Been coming here a few times now and its mine and bf's new fav. Breakfast spot. First the staff is always so nice and attentive. But most of all we love the potatos, its flavorful but not overly seasoned. I also really like their pancake but my favorite is their country fried steak. It's a small space but they seem to always be able to seat people without waiting too long which is nice. Will definitely be back. read more

We are visiting from Southern California and went to the Coffee and cars event. We decided to have breakfast and it was delicious. We got right in, and sat outside. They have excellent service from the greater to the servers. Everyone is ready to help. The chicken and waffles is delicious, it's a butterflied breast that is juicy and flavorful. I usually don't eat white meat chicken, but it was perfect. The waffle is just a tad dense, but delicious. Homefries were perfect, we get them well done. Chefs kiss! We will be back when we visit next time! read more

All I gotta say is this place has THEE best French toast I've ever had and my mom used to make pretty good French toast so that's saying a lot. Interior is small and usually loud and crowded, but it's a breakfast joint so that's to be expected. One star off for the coffee though. It's ridiculously over priced for being watery and not that great. read more

I went here for breakfast just recently. The restaurant is like your standard breakfast place with good food and service. I order a hot coffee and Crab Cake Eggs Benedict here. The Benedict was pretty good and it was made just how eggs Benedict should be made. The only thing I would of liked was if they refilled everyone's drinks since they refilled my brother and I's coffee's but they forgot to come by and refill my mom's glass of water. Overall the restaurant has good food and I enjoyed my visit. For great Ambience I would recommend stopping by for breakfast. read more

This place is THE place to have breakfast!! 10 outta 10 hungry peepsrecommend the french toast and country fried steak and eggs!! We stopped here on our way home to AZ, after a long weekend of "the strip" food/prices. Best meal we had in 4 days and the price right on point! Food was bland. Set up is weird and you can hear everything, very loud. Service was ok. Portions are large Says pick your stack 1, 2 or 3 then pick your flavor a then toppings. I picked 1 stack to go with my meal. $5.99 and picked peanut butter for topping. Got charged 5.99 and 1.99 for the topping. Says no where on charge per topping just next step. We arrived after a pretty large group. We were asked to wait a few moments so they could wash the table for us. The young waitress cleaned the tables, allowed us to sit and then asked what she could get us to drink. She was very nice and did a great job, even though some of the guests in the restaurant were not the kindest people, she still tried to keep a smile. It took a little while for the food to come out, she stopped by to let us know it was taking longer than normal due to the large group that ordered before us. We weren't in any hurry so no problem. The food was good and the service was great. I am sure we will be back again. read more

I've been meaning to try this brunch spot for a hike now and I finally did. Service was prompt and friendly. It was pretty busy inside with lots of families and friends getting breakfast. For a small space, they still were able to accommodate a group of 8. There's two outdoor seatings if needed as well. The server recommended their lemon blueberry pancakes as it was one of their signature items. I ordered a pancake which was huge by the way. About the size of a dinner plate. It wasn't as lemony as I thought it would be, but the blueberries were fresh and plentiful. Texture was chewy, but fluffy. Not sweet or doused in powdered sugar, which I did appreciate. I also had 2 bacons and 2 eggs. Bacon was crispy and a good size. The eggs were fine. Not overdone. Overall, I enjoyed my sit down breakfast and would probably try their lunch menu next time around. read more

Decided to go off the beaten path and try something different and went for breakfast which is not my normal meal choice.place wasn't very busy when we arrived but started filling up as we were finishing. Table was sticky as it may have been rushed clean before we arrived, not sure but I didn't mention it. Chose the chicken and waffles, with chicken breast vs chicken wings for an easier and less messy experience. Chicken was fried perfectly with plenty of juices coming out when cutting into it. Waffle was very big and seemed light and crispy, not dense at all. It was a very good dish and would come back for this. I usually don't review a place twice, but it's been a while since I've been to Griddlecakes, and I went there today around 1:00 (no wait - FAB!) and it's as heavenly as the last time. I had Crab Benedict and a single red velvet pancake. The Crab Benedict is amazing - love the crab cakes they put on it - thought I tasted a hint of Old Bay. The eggs are perfect - just a bit runny, but just enough and solid. Hollandaise sauce had a nice little hint of lemon and consistency was perfect. Now, in the picture I attached, if I ever see potatoes served at a restaurant like in my photo, I don't go too crazy, because usually potatoes that look like this taste pretty bland and boring, and I gotta drench them in ketchup, but NOT AT GRIDDLECAKES! I don't know what kind of spuds they use here, or what they fry them in, but they are the best I've ever had, so good, it seems a shame to smother them in ketchup. Eat them au naturale to experience the best potatoes you've ever had. I'm sorry I didn't include a pic of the red velvet pancake, but that sucker is HUGE and takes up the whole plate! It's served with some amazing cream cheese spread and butter, plus it's got chocolate chips in it, and when I slathered it in their syrup, I was well on my way to a diabetic coma, but what a way to go! Ha Ha! Simply the best pancake I've ever had. The staff were friendly, and my waiter - John - I think was his name - was blond, friendly and funny...and adorable! read more

I think this place has outgrown this location because I've never not seen this place packed! I'm not a huge fan of the size but this is definitely a must visit if you're in Henderson. I'm not sure what kind of butter they use but dang I couldn't eaten a whole stick of it! Friendly greeting as we entered, quick seating and fast service. Only complaints was small print on menus & table size for amount of food - LOL We all ordered skillets and biscuits w/gravy. Ordered delivery from here and it was great, probably would have been even better if we dined in. We split the corned beef hash with over easy eggs and the chorizo scramble with a half side of the biscuits and gravy. Didn't care much for the biscuit, but the other two were fantastic. We hit up Griddlecakes after wanting to try something off strip, so we found a strip mall instead... lol. Anyways, we came on a weekday and there was only about a 15 minute wait which wasn't too bad. It is a very small place with about 10 booths and a few middle tables. Overall the food was great. We tried the Country Scrabble and Eggs Benedict and both were delicious. The Biscuits and Gravy hit the spot and the breakfast potatoes were awesome. We would obviously give it a try again. read more

Took my family of 6 for breakfast , we were seated within 10 min, they asked to split us between 2 booths which was fine and much better than waiting since the place is quite small and that would have possible taken much longer, Overall this place is quite busy but all the team works well together. Water served immediately then order taken etc it all worked together well. Now the FOOD first let me state it's so well seasoned ! I got the lumberjack with house potatoes bacon and eggs ! All delicious eggs were scrambled lightly and I added cheese and it was perfectly folded in! The potatoes were the stars they were seasoned by my abuela herself ! Pancakes were good but I'd skip them next time and just have more potatoes My husband got the chicken and waffles and his wings WERE AMAZING! Breaded crispy and seasoned with soul! In town for a few days to look at homes, we are natives who are moving back to Las Vegas. This place had great reviews, so we wanted to try it. Holy shit the service is so bad. A guy finally acknowledged us after standing at the front for 5 minutes. He told us a lady will be seating us soon. Another 10 minutes goes by and she hadn't even acknowledged us. Mind you, it's not busy and there are like 7 open tables. We just left, as our two kids were starving having just flown in from Texas. Too many businesses that want to make money to deal with crap like this. read more

Meh! We arrived at the right time before it got a small rush and was seated immediately. Our server was not attentive at all. Not even the slightest. She took our order. That was the extent of service. Someone else ran our food. Someone else brought anything else we needed because we had to stop and ask them. And someone else brought our check. Like what does this chick do?! The food itself was ok. We ordered chicken apple sausage which comes with three eggs and home fries and the tuna melt. The sausage was actually the best part of all of this. Sadly it's only one link sliced in half and grilled. The tuna melt was extremely bland. The fries were pretty good. Pass on ranch because theirs is not the biz. They really need to step the service up or get rid of the waitress we had. read more

We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!!
