Apparently I am only allowed in the bus station 2 hours before my bus leaves. There was another passenger there. That person got to stay. That person is the same race as the person who told me to leave. Go figure read more

I've heard some horror stories about the Greyhound bus from people I know and reviews online. Last Saturday I needed to find last minute transportation for someone to the Phoenix airport, since I ended up not being able to drive them. We booked a ticket in the morning an hour or two before an 11:50 am bus. The bus ended up leaving on time and got to the airport as scheduled. I'm glad it really worked out well and my partner made it on time for his flight. On a separate occasion, a friend of mine booked one of the super early morning buses that ended up getting delayed 1.5 hours without any warning or communication. Additionally, the bus driver ran out of driving minutes and basically pulled over on the highway several miles from the airport and left people stranded to find a way there. I guess for legal reasons, bus drivers here cannot drive over a certain amount of hours at a time, but it seems like this kind of situation could've been avoided. So basically, book your ticket here at your own risk. Make sure to choose a time that's way earlier than your flight in case you get delayed or other unforeseen circumstances occur. read more

I was going through my drafts and yelp said I had 19 unpublished drafts so I'll attempt to lessen that number. Let me start with greyhound busline. The good thing was that it was comparable in price to driving myself. The bad was It stopped where scheduled to stop. I can no control over when where and how long stops we're. The good thing was that I did not have to drive. The bad thing was I had no control over the route. The good thing was I could sleep whenever I wanted. The seats were fairly comfortable. I usually had a seat where I could charge my phone. Overall a pleasant experience. But one I'm not likely to repeat unless absolutely nessessary. read more

One star because they make you. My child had booked a greyhound to Phoenix to catch a flight. 3:25am was her bud and by 5:30 WE had to call to find out wtf. "Oh ma'am the bus broke down it won't be coming," how in the hell!?!? Then we are told she can take the next "open" bud which was 24 hours later. No tf she cant. So basically she was left stranded and only told we can basically submit a refund. Now to get her money back she will have to jump through hoops!?! NEVER EVER EVER use this mode of transportation!! read more

The very worst way to try and travel. We will never use their horrible service ever again. They call to say our daughters bus will be three hours late, ok fine then they put her on a different bus that was no longer a direct trip. It has now taken our daughter 14 hours to get home. We could have driven to get her TWICE in the amount of time this trip took. And customer service obviously doesn't give a damn, never have we delt with such rude incompetence. read more

Horrible service you guys" felt like I was on a prison bus ,the top of the bus emergency exit popped off on the freeway and the driver refused to pull over for restroom stop Raphael Mendoza is his name from Phenix Arizona, very in perfessional. I paid 250$ and we're a day late on arrival, inside bus smells like sewage. This is just not right around all.. read more

Greyhound Bus Lines - Transportation Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

i wish i could give zero stars. you are better walking to your destination!!! this is easily the worst business i have ever dealt with. i have had multiple busses cancelled with zero notice, leaving me and others standing outside waiting. i have had numerous busses delayed by hours and hours. my worst experience was a bus that took what was supposed to be a "quick 10 minute bathroom/food break" that turned into A HOUR AND A HALF of people standing outside smoking and eating their mcdonald. the bus driver had no concern to get people going. to make matters worse, a passenger literally got detained by the police for screaming and acting crazy in the parking lot once she got off the bus. after our delay to watch her have a meltdown and get detained, she was let back on the bus!!!!!! i am absolutely shocked by how horrible the service is. the drivers are also rude. i asked a driver to confirm the stop we were going to for me as i wanted to get off at the first stop instead of the second after our hour and a half delay, she bluntly told me "i don't know", i even pulled up the apple maps location and said "can you just clarify this is the right station?" to which she again told me she didn't know without even looking at me and barely glancing at my phone. i would also like to mention all of this is from about 10 rides with greyhound in total. i have had maybe 2 actually go to plan and schedule. save your money and time it is absolutely not worth it. read more

Please for the love of god just drive yourself or hitch hike, this bud genuinely is so scary, the people are psychotic and screaming and getting reprimanded by police along with lack of sanitation. For $40 one way ticket it's cheaper for me to drive my own car. I hate how the US has terrible public transportation and I feel bad driving when I can just take a shuttle like this but for my own safety I'll be driving from now on read more

I got my mom a greyhound ticket to Phoenix (as she did me a huge favor and drove my car up the mountain for me when I needed to get home but was too sick to drive) on Monday July 10 for 11:15pm. We arrived 15 minutes early and there was at least four other people waiting for the 11:15 bus. The bus station of course was closed and pitch black with no one to ask questions. After waiting 5 minutes for the bus after 11:15 we finally decided to call customer service only to find the bus arrived early at 10:30 and left without waiting for the new passengers who had paid for tickets. As frustrating as a delayed bus is, I think it's more frustrating to show up and the bus has already came and left. We checked the app to track and it had said "on time" and only when I called was I notified it was an earlier arrival. Unfortunately and earlier arrival would've worked great if we were notified as my mom needed to get back to phoenix asap but we were never notified and now we have to wait for the next bus at 3:25 am. I think this is totally ridiculous and as much as it may suck the bus should wait until the time it's scheduled to leave a stop when there are multiple passengers who are supposed to board. Extremely disappointed, i've liked flix in the past as well but they seem to have merged with greyhound which is extremely disappointing because greyhound sucks and has horrible management. Overall very disappointing and feeling guilty as now my mom and I won't get any sleep because lord knows if the next bus will choose to arrive and leave hours early. read more

This was my second time using greyhound and I try to stay away, when I entered the building I was immediately told to leave and never come back due to my lack of knowledge on the buildings mask policy (I put it on as soon as I was told and was still told to leave). They are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I asked my driver if I was in the right bus and she wouldn't even use words to talk to me and answer my questions. If you don't have to do not use greyhound it is horrible, and super unsanitary, the hand sanitizer in the bathroom was completely empty. I wish one of the only bus modes of transport from The Valley to flag were better. read more

Customers service was the absolute worst I have ever see. Extremely rude and talked to us in a condescending tone. We arrived early and was told that the bus had already left the station because the driver wanted to leave and even knew that he didnt have 3 passengers who were supposed to be on. The guy behind the desk simply said we should have arrived even earlier than we already were. I was completely shocked at his demeanor and tone to customers. read more

I scheduled to leave on a bus at 5:35 this morning I got there at 5 and there was a piece of paper taped on the door saying the bus wouldn't arrive in flagstaff until 7:30. I didn't want to wait alone I the dark so I went back home and came back at 7, I wait until 9 and NO BUS. (Mind you I NEVER received an email or phone call letting me know my bus was delayed) I checked online and it said the bus had arrived at 6:48 and left at 6:53. The bus station doesn't open until 10 am so how am I supposed to reach my destination that I paid for? I am livid how this company asks for our contact info, yet doesn't inform their passengers ANYTHING. I will never in my life rely on them to get me anywhere. read more

Place is always closed, yet still has bus schedules JUST TO CANCEL on you every f**king time you buy a ticket. So you can't talk to any workers or ask what's going on because no one is there but confused bus riders who are just waiting in the cold of flagstaff for hours before knowing if there bus was just delayed (a few small hours), or straight up cancelled. Not to mention their app or support phone line are either confusing or more useless then their refund procedure which you have to go through 100% of the time even if they somehow messed up their own bus schedule or whatever. Their phone line will have you on hold for at least 20-30minutes and whoever answers is always just as annoyed as you, at you. read more

Bus was cancelled without warning, after waiting two hours for it at the station. Was only cancelled from Flagstaff to Phoenix, and wouldn't offer a refund, only to reschedule a MONTH later. Terrible bus line that costed $160. read more

I was scheduled to depart flagstaff at 5:45am. When I woke up at 4am, I had a voicemail from greyhound informing me that they did not have a driver so the ride was cancelled... I called several times right away during their business hours to see if I had an alternate option and no one answered and there was no voicemail set up. when I finally was able to get someone on the phone at 11am, he told me that this happens about every two weeks. Note to self and for everybody else, it's worth paying the extra amount by taking a guaranteed shuttle and not the greyhound. Lastly, I wasn't even automatically reimbursed considering it was their fault. Now I have to send my ticket to their corporate office and wait until they decide to reimburse me. If you're considering taking the greyhound, reconsider. Especially if their own employee confessed to me that this happens frequently due to lack of organization with scheduling their drivers. read more

Greyhound service is terrible the customer service is bad and the bus was delayed and we were not sent any email saying it would be late

Hello, this 5-star review is specific to a trip on a bus departing from Flagstaff Arizona for Phoenix Arizona on Sunday 12/30/2018 at 3:20 am. 1) Realistic and helpful experience from the staff person at the Greyhound Terminal with an overall very positive result. 2) Great driver - got us away from the terminal, kind to those on the bus, very helpful, great/trouble-free drive (lots of curves and the route starts off in a mountainous area with some altitude changes, mostly downward so control of the bus was done very well), and did a great job of announcing routing departure times / destinations and definitely was very helpful. Overall - this was a 5-star experience for me. The fact that the bus was new or newer with free wifi and at least 1 electrical outlet (120V) available per seat was very helpful. Thank You. read more

Worthless. A bus was supposed to leave flagstaff at 1:55pm and arrive in Phoenix at 4:55pm. They overbooked this bus, and the back up did not arrive until after 5:30pm. All the while they had later busses coming and going. I called their 800 number around 3pm, and no one could tell me anything about when the backup bus would arrive, they simply referred me to the local station. I called the local station (about 20 times before anyone answered) and they couldn't tell me anything either. They just said "It should be there in 15 min I would think" and when I mentioned that I was told that repeatedly already, over the last 2 hours, they simply hung up on me. So they overbook a bus, and then make people wait over 3 hours with NO INFORMATION, before a bus comes. Customer service is absolute garbage, and not even remotely helpful. If you ever call and speak with "Rob" don't even bother, he is the worst customer service rep I have ever encountered, and I worked in call centers for over a decade. You'd be better off walking than dealing with this company's ineptitude. read more

This bus station is suck a joke. I had my bus leaving at 6:35 AM this morning and when I arrived at the station at 6 AM (35 minutes early) the front desk lady told me the previous bus broke down and they sent a new one to pick up the passengers. They sent the new bus at 5:45 AM almost an HOUR EARLY. It is absolutely ridiculous that greyhound doesn't ever call to inform you on such changes like this. I now will be missing my flight due to this inconvenience. Greyhound is NEVER reliable as they come as early or late as they want without keeping you informed on any changes. I will never rely on the bus to take me anywhere. And customer service is such a joke. read more

Holy crap! Could the bus have been any later!?!!!! Wendy, the bus is ALWAYS LATE! ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS out of Flagstaff...by at least an hour! It didn't help that once they pulled in and everyone had gone to the bathroom, freshened and gotten back in their seats, the bus driver spent another 30 minutes talking to the counter worker!!!! I came literally within a few seconds of missing my flight out of Phoenix because of them!!!!! The counter had closed and I had to run top speed with the agent waiting for me and the flight attendant ready to close the door! HORRIBLE!!! I WILL, AS LONG AS I LIVE, NEVER, EVER, EVER RIDE A GREYHOUND BUS! I'LL WALK FIRST!!!! read more

The bus was delayed an hour and a half and the staff had no clue what was going on, finally the PHX bus was called and when I was about to get on, the bus driver stops the line and tells us that there are no more seats on the bus. The eight of us left behind had already bought our tickets and were given no compensation for their mistake. The guy at the front counter was annoyed when we were all asking for a refund claiming the computer was freezing after 25 more minutes of waiting around I finally got a refund that he told me would take "1 or 2 weeks" to get back on my card. It was really unprofessional and just awful attitudes all around. read more

Worst service. We took greyhound bus from phx to Las Vegas. There was a snow storm at flagstaff. It was really bad. Driver Instead of moving forward, he wanted to go back to flagstaff when we are actually almost out of snow. And even highway was closed, like we cannot actually make our way back. We had to call the police to settle the situation. Even the customer service was not helpful. It is the drivers own decision to go back to flagstaff for that bad weather. He did not even pick up the calls of his supervisor and stuff. After everything got settled, now I am almost sitting for more than 4 hrs here in the bus, waiting for another driver. I don't know how many more hours I have to sit in the bus till the other driver comes from the Phoenix. This is insane. They did not even provide us shelter for this night. They just left us in the bus overnight. I will never ever take greyhound bus again. This is my first journey with greyhound with very bad experience. Thank you greyhound. read more

Well run clean bus station employees were very helpful. Good location. This station to better than most Greyhound stations

Do not use this service. They will take your money and leave you stranded. My partner had a ticket to go back to Phoenix from Flagstaff at 5:35 am. I dropped him off at 5:25 am and the staff told us the bus already left. I don't know what kind of business thinks it's okay to depart their buses half an hour early, but this is not acceptable. He is now stuck up here, unable to get to work and unable to get a refund. Do not trust this business, do not give them your money. They need to wisen up or they need to be shut down. read more

This place is beyond asinine. Why would you sell 40 tickets to a bus that only has 25 seats? On top of that lets go ahead and put folks safety at risk by putting them on the steps of the bus that leaves a minimum of 40 minutes late. And those of us who are left behind; "Um yeahhhhhh we got another one coming from Phoenix but I can't track it so I don't know when it'll be here." This is coming from an employee that reeks of cigarettes and can hold a conversation about masterbating to Titanic. Way to keep your standards strong Greyhound. Never again! read more

3/6/21. Flagstaff AZ to Phoenix AZ trip. Bus reportedly broke down but no one from the Flagstaff AZ office told me or any of the other travelers that the trip wouldn't happen. The employee inside was not friendly and offered no help. Why would they not make an announcement telling all the students from NAU that the trip is canceled? Or why not send a text or email so everyone wasn't left wondering what's going on while waiting outside in the cold? 2 days later and still no courtesy email or text or phone call saying we'd at least get a refund and sorry there were no spare buses. And please have someone clean the parking lot and front of business. Disgusting with all the cigarette butts and homeless people. Not the most welcoming place to be. I get it's a greyhound bus station but is it really that hard to keep it clean and transient free? Very disappointed for the first and probably last greyhound trip. read more

The fat man at the counter was very rude. Very sarcastic to all customers and charged me extra for a carry on bag that I didn't need to pay for, then told me there was no refunds! Took the Greyhound to PHX. My bus was going to be late, so they called me and suggested I change to one of a few options that they gave me. I picked one and it was just fine. UNBELIEVABLE. WORST SERVICE EVER. My boyfriend and I booked out tickets weeks in advance, arrived 50 minutes early to the station to be told they had overbooked and there were no more seats left. Our boarding numbers were 8 and 9, but that didn't matter. The bus driver was so embarrassed and apologetic and told those working the front desk to fix this mistake. The people working at the front desk ignored us for 10 minutes then FINALLY asked why we were there and told us we could wait for the next bus and hope there was a seat available. I was NOT going to put some other poor person in the same situation I was currently in by taking their seat. The 2 men working the front counter did not have a care in the world that they had just ruined our entire weekend and screwed us over. Finally they offered us a refund. I did not want a refund I wanted to get to Phoenix. They did not offer to give us the refund, they gave us a number and told us to take it up with them. I called the number once I got home and it directed me to another number. Called that number to find out in order to get a refund I was to go to the front counter...where they had given me absolutely no help. I called very angry to ask who had been working and why they thought it was okay to take our money, not let us on the bus, then send us through loops and lead us back to where we started. After going back and forth with this man on the phone he said my ticket was nonrefundable (it never told me it was nonrefundable or else I would have never bought it) and the only thing they could do was exchange it for another one...oh but that would be a $20 fee. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and this company is filled with careless and reckless people. DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. read more
