Get there early cuz Ubers can be quick or delay in Flagstaff winters due to rain and snow. I got a comfortable ride to Camp Verde, an hour away. I wish they went into Prescott but we can't always get what we want in life! I'm blessed that my Prescott friend is picking me up in CV. I've also taken Groome in the middle of nowhere Montana. This is a great comfortable transportation company that gets you there in any weather, rain and snow. My drivers have always been pleasant. The office guy in Flagstaff is an absolute love. I missed my first shuttle and had to call about 6 times with questions and changes and he was above and beyond courteous and helpful to me. The staff I interacted with on the phone were all very helpful. There were some stark differences across drivers but overall in the neutral-to-excellent range. I didn't have cash on the way back and couldn't quite figure out how to tip the driver. Note they don't really stop for folks to get out to and from GC without a direct request which we were unaware of. Also, the confirmation emails sometimes give incorrect pickup times so be sure to confirm ahead of time. The staff member I called after the shuttle hadn't come mentioned they had tried to call, but I was on a plane and didn't receive the voicemail till later. Seats were just shy of comfortable but fine. Overall, a convenient way to get to Grand Canyon National Park.

First off, this company does not have an actual "dispatcher". They simply hand a cellphone to whatever driver will be answering their calls that day or night and that is who will be answering their phone calls, WHILE THEY ARE DRIVING regardless if you happen to be in the cab with them at the time or not. This is unsafe to say the least and is also against the law! I have also had drivers smoking, eating, etc. while I was in the back seat with no regard to me whatsoever. At last count this company only has two vehicles and both show obvious signs of previous collisions and both are in sad shape. Secondly, this cab company is the only cab company in Flagstaff that does not use meters in their cabs. I have been charged several different prices for the exact same ride depending on the driver. How do they determine how much they will charge you? I am assuming by how much they think they can get from you. But a more frightening issue is that since COVID-19 has become an issue Top Hat Taxi has not made any changes to the way they still do business. None of their drivers wear masks and regardless of what they may tell you, they do not sanitize their cabs in any way in between fares. You can tell when you sit down in a cab that has been cleaned and a cab that stinks! This cab company also advertises that they are a 24-hour business. Not since COVID-19. Now that the bars in Flagstaff are no longer open the driver on duty will simply turn off their cellphone and go home. I defy anyone to try and reach this company after 9:00pm or so (sometimes even earlier). All you will reach is a voicemail that has not even been set up so you can't even leave them a message. Do yourself a favor if you need a taxi while in Flagstaff; There are numerous other cab companies in Flagstaff to choose from and no matter who you decide to go with any of them will be better than this fly-by-night company.

Contradictory to the contract that Eugene drew up, and to the payment that we made (which had its' own complications, twice), 4 of my guests over heard the driver mention that she would be making 1 trip back at 9:30. My wedding went until 10:30 and the last drop off time was contractually set for 11:00. My husband and I, unaware of this, were shocked to see half of my wedding leave over an hour early and many people who had planned to take the bus home and were not expecting to leave so abruptly. This literally ruined 2 special things that we had set up with our God Parents who had to get on the bus at 9:30, our bubble exit, and our group picture. After a wedding, where people were celebrating with libations, the thought of half of my guests having to drive home or find a way home at 10:30 at night was a stress that was caused because Flagstaff Limousine went against our contract without notifying me, my husband, or anyone other than 4 guests who happened to over hear this on the bus ride there. Last…read moreSaturday I needed to find last minute transportation for someone to the Phoenix airport, since I ended up not being able to drive them. We booked a ticket in the morning an hour or two before an 11:50 am bus. The bus ended up leaving on time and got to the airport as scheduled. I'm glad it really worked out well and my partner made it on time for his flight. On a separate occasion, a friend of mine booked one of the super early morning buses that ended up getting delayed 1.5 hours without any warning or communication. Additionally, the bus driver ran out of driving minutes and basically pulled over on the highway several miles from the airport and left people stranded to find a way there. I guess for legal reasons, bus drivers here cannot drive over a certain amount of hours at a time, but it seems like this kind of situation could've been avoided. So basically, book your ticket here at your own risk. Make sure to choose a time that's way earlier than your flight in case you get delayed or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
