This is our families favorite place to eat. Anytime we aren't cooking at home, we are here. Our go-to's are the "Oregon Burrito" and the crunchy shredded beef tacos. They also have really good carne asada fries. They have lots of options for salsa and are always generous. Although due to COVID there isn't a salsa bar, they will give you prepackaged salsas. Stopped for lunch after exploring Mount Hood. Wanted something quick but still high quality. We got the chicken burrito and chips with spicy hot sauce. Everything was very good. I guess this is considered good by Oregon standards. In California, this kind of Mexican food is known as below average. There burritos and tacos were missing real flavors and left something to be desired. The chicken quesadilla was terrible. The service and salsa were good. I don't get why the Mexican food in Oregon is so bad when there are so many Mexicans. I guess all the bad chefs migrate up here. I feel bad for Oregonians. Overall I won't be back. Terrible. Ordered through Postmates and order was opposite of what we ordered. My wife even called before and explained that we wanted no sour cream because I can't eat it. She was told they would take care of it and it wasn't an issue. When my food arrived it had like 4x the normal sour cream and was cold. We ordered queso and it was straight out of the can nacho cheese and dead cold nasty. Beyond frustrating when you spend 50$ for some burritos and queso and it shows up garbage. Extremely economical, incredibly tasty, fast and delightful/courteous people. They are truly killing it over there. I am pleasantly surprised every time I try something new. It is so simple, but they are doing something special. My go-to order is the mar y tierre burrito with rice. The shrimp and carne asada are just perfect. Carne asada is not usually my favorite with Mexican. I usually go for carnitas, but they do it so right here. Juicy and lots of flavor. Shrimp is also perfectly cooked. Their chicken burrito also has some sort of special sauce or seasoning that really beats all others. Never disappointed when I go here and it truly is worth more than what you pay. This place never disappoints! I was so excited when they opened this second location after the Wood Village one. The quality and service are just as good if not better than their first location. The dining room is much nicer here and has a trendy style to it with iron/wood tables. The food packs great flavor and for an amazing price. This visit we switched it up and opted to try their bacon cheese burger and fry's to really put it to the test as of course this is a burrito shop not a burger shop and they still did a great job! Tried this yesterday for the first time. The place is right in the middle of town making it easy to find. Restaurant is clean and the help was friendly and helpful. I got al pastor enchilada plate and my friend a wet burrito plate. We both had way to much food to finish our plates, but we sure wanted to. Food was delicious and presented nicely. My go-to is the all-meat burrito and two pork tamales as sides.
