This place is awesome! My husband and I have come here several times and the food is always so tasty and the prices cannot be beat! It's our number 1 place we go to if we are craving Mexican food. Our most recent order was a catering order for my daughters first birthday. I talked to the manger several times on the phone and I was sold on the "taco bar" style. We were able to customize this to our wants & needs and we ended up going with carne asada and chicken for the pre-made tacos. We also received rice, beans, chips & salsa and more salsa/dressing for the tacos. We were blown away with how tasty everything was and how accommodating they were. All of our guests loved the food and if we need any more catering orders, this is the place we will go to! I'm always on the lookout for tacos from different restaurants, and my latest discovery was Gresham Burrito Shop. They have a prominent location on Main Avenue in "Historic" Downtown Gresham. The seating for inside dining was limited because of Covid restrictions, but I noticed a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up takeout orders...a sure sign of a popular place with good food. I ordered five tacos with my four favorite taco meats: al pastor, carnitas, carne asada, and chicken. My friend ordered a 2 Tamale Plate consisting of a chicken tamale, pork tamale, refried beans, rice, shredded lettuce, and tomato. When the trays of food were brought to our table, the first thing we noticed was how HUGE the portions of food were. My tacos were overflowing with meat and each kind was tasty in its own way. The only thing I would have liked better is if the meats would have been browned a little bit on a flat top grill before being scooped on to the tortillas. However, that's just my own personal preference. I also want to say that my tacos were a great value...for as gigantic and loaded as they were with meat, they were only $1.95 each. (Because I'm familiar with tacos at so many different places, I know that if I can get any truly 'superior' taco that's also BIG for under $2.00, it's an accomplishment.) Meanwhile, my friend said her tamales were really flavorful, and proved it by eating every little bit of food on her plate. Gresham Burrito Shop is also very tidy and clean and the employees we encountered were friendly and nice...an all-around great place. read more

The desserts are to die for, sorry we found them because they are so affordable the the location is just too close to our home and we can walk down and get great food all the time, so we do! My sister recommended me this place because she said it was one of the best around the area. We stopped by yesterday (my sister as well) and let me tell you, we all got food poisoning. I got a quesadilla with a side of sour cream, red mild salsa, a side of French fries, a side of ranch. My sister got two fish tacos. My red mild salsa was basically water. The quesadilla tasted weird. The fries were actually good. My sisters tacos were just palpitan bad. Too bad we didn't take pictures but it was basically just a fish fillet on a tortilla. 3 stars because the fries were good. But I don't think I'll be stopping by again. read more

With all the positive reviews I thought this would be pretty good. Unfortunately it wasn't. I tried the carnitas and carne asada burritos. The pork in the carnitas burrito didn't have much flavor and didn't blend well with the other ingredients. The Carne Asada burrito wasn't much better.
