Came to greg after my front bumper was cracked from an accident and had to come back about 3 times everytime i noticed how no matter how many times i came back it still wasnt on there how i wanted it and there was always water in my brand new cars headlamps. Decided to just take it to a new body shop and just take the loss with greg just to find out all these other problems. Gave greg an insurance job and this is what he did to my car 0/10 recommend.The guy who repaired my car sent me these pictures after i dropped off my car explaining how my car was never repaired properly and the only thing that was fixed was the bumper itself everything that holds the bumper is damaged. You guys might wanna check your work that you think it good because 9/10 it probably looks like mine underneath it all. Hope he doesn't do all his customers like this. read more

By far the worst body shop I've used. This review is in relation to some work I had 2 years ago. I went to gregs to have a dent in my bumper fixed and repainted and have the grille repainted. I pick up the car on a rainy day and the next day I notice the paint was very runny and had a ton of orange peel in it. I went back and he said he would fix it. A week went by I'm in the office to pick it up and I over hear one of his employees speaking terribly about the non white customers. I pick up my car, the paint looked better but once I took a better look. The whole car had been over sprayed and my fenders felt like sand paper and my headlights had over spray on them as well. I return the car a 3rd "THIRD" time and had them buff the entire car to get the excess over spray off and fix the headlights. I go to pick it up and car look ok but I could still see a dent in the bumper and there was still over spray on my headlights. At that point they refused to fix anything on my vehicle that they screwed up. Should have sued them for damage to property but oh well. read more

Rose at the front counter helped me through the process of contacting the other persons car insurance and it went smoothly. Greg's body shop is a joke. I took my truck to Greg's for so.e repairs due to an accident. Greg gave me a 3 to 4 day timeframe for the work. Greg also told me that I didn't need a new bumper but he would bill Allstate for one and cut a check for the difference. He decided to replace the bumper but he didn't tell me. It's also took 8 days for removing and replacing the number and pad. Greg refuses to pay for the extra days on the rental car due to his slow work. I will never use Greg's again and I will not refer anyone to him. BEWARE OF GREGD BS. read more

Beware! Horrible experience with This body shop. Took our car to them in mid June after an accident. By August they still had the car and had not been able to finish the repairs. It was a luxury performance vehicle that was more than they could handle but just say that upfront. They took payment from the insurance company for work they never performed. They would lie on the phone if they answered the phone. It was a nightmare to get our car back from them. Reported them to the national insurance fraud association. Our insurance company was investigating them as well. read more

I did what all clueless people will inevitably do and I ran into a mailbox, the mailbox was okay but my car was not and I ended up denting my whole fender and my passenger mirror was left crooked. I went to four different auto body shops that all quoted me around $900 for repairs. I went to Greg's and he quoted me significantly less than that and told me that after he received my new fender and mirror, he would only need one day to repair my car whereas other places said they needed my car for up to six days (Greg's actually took less than a day for the repair!). The work was great, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the paint matched! Only complaint was that there was a lack of communication when my parts were ready but I just had to call and ask and they set up a day for me to drop off my car. This was my first experience using Greg's. In the past I've taken my car to different shops and was not thrilled with either their demeanor or the work that was done. I've found that with other shops they often seem to find more damage after an initial estimate. Greg's is not trying to get every nickel out of you. They are fair and honest. I am just an average customer and have not been compensated in any way for this review. I was just so impressed with his work and business ethic that I had to write a review. I had dropped my car off for a simple bumper repair that was only supposed to take a week, I got my car back a month and half later with unfinished work and damages to my windshield. The receptionist was also very rude to both my mother and I. she never retuned any phone calls and also had this attitude. she has Poor customer service Skills. The only reason I gave them a 1 star rating is because the damages were repaired in the end. I would not recommend this anyone. On my way from California to the east coast, I had an accident. I was staying with family in Joliet and looked for an auto body shop on the internet. Greg's was the first shop I went to and he gave me a great price, since I was paying out of pocket. I went to another shop per Greg's suggestion and I came back to Greg. They got my car in as soon as a loaner car was available. My car was ready in less time than I expected which gave me plenty of time to get ready for the last leg of my trip. The work was perfect! I was sent to Greg's by Jack from Jack's Car wash after a bumper mishap in the wash. I was very impressed. They did an excellent job and my bumper looks better than it did before the accident. The staff is courteous and Greg is great. He takes care of his customers. They did the work quickly and we are very happy that Greg's body shop is the shop that does Jack's work. I took my car in on July 3 after scraping the side on the side of the house. Gregg was very friendly, gave me an estimate and said he would also provide a free loaner, which would save some problems! It was will call so i waited to be called; a month later I called him to see if I could get an approximate time frame before i could bring it in. I was told they will have Gregg call me. That was around August 3rd, today is September 1 and I still have not heard from him. Took my car elsewhere and I now have a fixed car. Waiting for Gregg, it would still be damaged. Our sons 2005 ford escape had severe rust in a rear tire well. So much in fact that ford dealers would not even change the shock that needed to be replaced. We took the vehicle to a place one of the ford dealers had recommended and the price was beyond the value of the vehicle. Another place flat out said they didn't want to do it. A friend had mentioned they used Gregs in the past for a paint job and they were pleased. We took the vehicle in, Greg looked at it right away and knew what needed to be done. He was able to get us a quote on the spot for work others were afraid to do. The quote he gave us was also right in line with what other Ford customers that had the same issue said they paid with body shops across the country. Actually to be fair he was a couple hundred dollars less because he did the shocks, as well as weld and replace the entire rear right wheel well and shock tower. Nobody else wanted to touch it. It was a challenge and Greg's stepped up. I'd use gregs all day long if we have auto body issues with future cars. To me there isn't a reason to shop around considering the skill and service we got. read more

I came to Greg's Body Shop thinking this was a good place because of the reviews I met the owner he seems nice at first I brought my vehicle there because I cracked the glass and I wanted them to install it I was trying to save a few bucks by buying the glass myself and having a body shop install it over Safelite Wich me wanted to charge me $340 I was quoted $50 by Omar at Greg's Body Shop I thought this was an awesome deal so I took my vehicle there they got to working on it after about an hour they brought the car back the door panel was pretty much hanging off and after I inspected it they had thrown the inner door panel around and scrape inner door panel all up which the point of me bringing my car to the shop was to have them do it so that I didn't damage my inner door panel now I had to replace my inner door panel which is $350 oem, Greg the owner gave me my $50 back told me never to come back sorry that that he even tried to help me now his work or damages my door I come there trusting him and then he tells me that he's not responsible for the damages if I would have known that they were going to treat my car like this I would have never brought it there and I would have attempted to repair myself I'd rather have to spend $350 cuz I damage something other than trying to take it to a shop is supposed to be trusted so now after $350 for an internship door panel and $136 for the glass you do the math I would have been cheaper to have Safelite do it as soon as I had a complaint the owner disappeared off to his office and I literally had to walk around the shop to find him cuz he wouldn't come back up and talk to me read more
