I was truly disappointed I'm this place, mostly the uncaring kids that work there. Six days after my car was towed there (including the weekend, to be fair) I stopped in to take a picture of the codes necessary for the correct part. Kraig was good to tell me them over the phone the day before, but it sounded like he said it was a PCM, when in fact, it was a BCM. Wish he would've been more clear, but not a big deal. When we were walking out there, we noticed the right rear tire was flat, even though my car was towed there & was a-ok at that point. Kraig stated it must be a slow leak; wasn't like that a couple of days ago. This was a Tuesday, yet they're closed on weekends (??). In checking out the tire, he then said it was getting low in 3 hrs. Be that as it may, When I picked up the car after it was done, immediately I saw big white scratches on my rear bumper that was not there before. Went in to inform Kraig & while we were looking at it, I then noticed a smaller mark on the front bumper, which was completely repainted just a few months beforehand & was also fine when it was towed there! He tried to downplay it & said he'd get ahold of the owner. In the meantime, I received photos from the tow truck company proving it was fine upon arrival there, yet Kraig said the owner was only willing to pay for the back bumper! Thankfully I disputed the charges with the AMEX (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), so then he caved in & paid for both bumpers. I later found out they will actually use a quad runner ATV to push in and out cars if necessary!! The tire was suspicious since it happened well into their possession, but I let it go since I wanted nothing else than to move on & put this behind us. If all this wasn't enough, they didn't even have the courtesy to use a paper floor mat, so my car was rather filthy especially on the driver side. Unless you want your car treated like this folks, there are places very close by (Ewerts Automotive, Art's automotive) that treat their customer's cars with more respect & are much more reasonable. Low integrity automotive charges approx $185/hr, which is comparable to dealers!! read more

My 2023 Pathfinder was in for an oil change about a month ago. Last night, while attempting to drive my daughter to Mayo during an emergency, the engine and oil lights came on. Integrity asked us to bring it in immediately. Upon inspection, the car had blown a gasket. Integrity is fixing this for us for free today. After all that we've been through this week with my daughter being in a car accident and the secondary emergency for a pre-existing condition, I cannot emphasize what a blessing this is. The name says it all, local family business with Integrity! They care about their customers and go above and beyond in the service they provide. I went in for an oil change and had no idea that there was a cabin filter. After seeing mine, that had not been changed in the 6 years I've owned my vehicle, I had to get it replaced. Very fair and honest pricing. The dealer I had been taking my car to never mentioned the existence of a cabin filter because it is hard to get to. We've also gone in with issues with my daughters car and they gave us recall information so we would not waste money on something that was a known manufacturer problem. Great guys! read more

I went in for an alignment, was advised I needed a more extensive repair. I took their advice and had them replace the needed parts. I ended up having a catastrophic incident that required thousands of dollars in damage and necessary repair. Multiple mechanics and automotive professionals diagnosed the root cause very easily and it came back to faulty work done be integrity automotive. Integrity has chosen not to stand behind their work and laughed off this occurrence when brought to their attention. They stated they only hire good workers and they couldn't have made the mistake in question - claiming perfection, to me seemed childish and irresponsible. This negligent work lead to an incident that very easily could have taken my life and others. I've been left with no choice but to seek legal council - these communications have been ignored by integrity automotive. I believe in giving businesses the opportunity to prove their integrity and "right the wrong" but it's clear that won't happen here without a fight. Their invoice also stated there was a 12 month warranty but integrity and their warranty company have only pointed fingers at each other, integrity says it's the parts fault, the warranty company and numerous mechanics state it was faulty work. I was given a quote of $2800 by the Mazda dealership to repair my car, which had been randomly dying out. Mazda also said that I would need a new water pump (additional cost). I bought the car new in 2006, but it has 200,000 miles on it and I did not want to put that kind of money into it. I had nothing to lose at that point, so I brought the car here for a second opinion. After thoroughly assessing the car for a few days, they were able to fix it for under $400. They also said that I do not need a water pump. Not only was Matt extremely professional and understanding of my dire situation, he and the guys at Integrity single-handedly restored my faith that honest mechanics exist. Integrity has been great to my family. My son purchased a used car from a dealer who claimed it had been inspected thoroughly. Almost immediately, it began to have problems. Integrity checked it out, and determined the engine was seriously damaged. With their documentation, we were able to get our money back from the dealer. They have since inspected two other cars for a reasonable price before my son purchased them. They have also serviced my and my wife's cars, quite satisfactorily. Everyone there is very nice, and takes the time to fully explain everything. We moved to the Joliet area in 2003, and have finally found a great auto repair shop. read more

It's funny that the other review on here is a similar story to mine. I guess they are used to helping desperate motorists out on the road! In any case, on this, Thanksgiving, I wanted to give thanks for this automotive shop. They totally restored my faith in people when I drove from Iowa to Connecticut a few weeks ago. I had gotten an oil lube job in Iowa in preparation a couple of weeks before my trip. Shortly thereafter, I noticed a dashboard light coming on intermittently. It had a little plus sign inside it, which looked just like the battery charge light in my manual. The manual stated that if that light came on, then the battery was not charging. So I take it in to my Iowa Volvo mechanic, who looks at it (or so he says), and $70 later, tells me that yes, most likely my alternator is slowly starting to go bad. He says that because it comes on intermittently, I likely still have a while before it goes bad, but he can replace the alternator for $500. Being pretty broke, I ask if he thinks it is urgent and if I can make it cross country and back, and he says yes, he thinks I can, but to replace it when I get back and if the light stays on, to get it replaced. Flash forward to my drive. 3 hours into my drive, the light comes on and stays on. I am totally annoyed, and call my mechanic from Iowa on my cell phone (hands free!) He says, "Oh, you should find a mechanic." I say, "I am in the middle of Illinois! I mean, how long can I drive with it like this?" He says, "Not long." I say, "Are we talking a few hours? Days?" He says, "Oh no, like 15 minutes." So I hang up and freak out, because I am in a rural stretch. I call my sister, who Googles to find my nearest good mechanic. She comes up with Integrity, but it is still about an hour away. I call them and explain my situation, say that there is a chance I may break down and have AAA tow me somewhere, but that I am going to try to reach them. I tell them it's important I get back on the road that same day because I have an event in Connecticut I have to attend. Then I cross my fingers and pray my car keeps going until I get to them. A few minutes later, Integrity Auto calls me back, using their caller ID, and they say if I can tell them my make/model/year they can order the alternator in advance in case they need to replace it (which I had told them my mechanic in Iowa said it would need), so they can get right to work when I arrive. They order the part. Long story short, I arrive at Integrity, totally frustrated, upset at losing hours off a very tight schedule and stressing about the $500 I couldn't afford, annoyed with my mechanic in Iowa. The Integrity guys took my car into the back. They were helping a couple other customers and were squeezing me in. They even got me on their WiFi so I could do some work while I waited. 20 minutes later, they come in from the garage and ask me to come with them. The mechanic shows me my dashboard lights. "Ummm, the light that's on is the coolant light," he says. "That's not the battery light." Shocked, I look closer. The coolant light looks very similar to the battery light. I'm totally humiliated. And angry!! My mechanic in Iowa told me it was the battery as well! And he wanted to charge me $500 to replace the alternator. The Integrity mechanic was really nice and told me it wasn't my fault and I should find a new mechanic in Iowa (I agree!) He topped off the coolant (which the d*mn oil lube guys neglected to do weeks before, which is why the light came on in the first place) and the light turned off. The Integrity guys REALLY lived up to their names, because they easily could have installed the alternator they had taken the time and effort to order for me and charged me for that, and I never would have known. To top things off, when I went to pay for their time, the trouble of ordering the part and the coolant, the owner said, "You know what? You've already had a terrible day. Don't worry about it. Just get back on the road." I insisted, but he wouldn't take my money. I nearly started crying at the kind deed these guys did for me. I only wish I could live in Minooka, because these are really honest mechanics. So the best I can do is heartily recommend them to people in the area. I can't vouch for their work, but I can absolutely vouch for the fact that their name is not just lip service. They truly turned my day around and made me feel there were still some honest, good people in the world. read more

After correctly diagnosing the problem, the owner acted with complete and total integrity and recommended I see if the manufacturer might honor the warranty even though the mileage was slightly outside the warranty. The advice was worth its weight in gold. The manufacturer DID end up honoring the slightly out-of-date warranty saving me over $1,000. I've brought my cars to Integrity Automotive for years. Today I had a mini emergency situation where my younger brother was heading back home from visiting me (about a three hour drive) and had his car break down somewhere between 55s and 80w. To make matters worse-his cell phone died shortly after recieving the call that he was stranded. Not knowing what to do- I called about a million shops in the general area to find that a large portion of auto shops do not service imports for transmition work. Finally I came across a lady named Shelly from Rockdale Auto who told me they couldn't fit us in, but she put me in touch with a wonderful man named Jim at Integrity Automotive. After briefly explaining the situation to him- Jim offered to get in his tow truck and search the area for my brother. After about 45 minutes I recieved a call that he had located him- but was unable to get to his car on the ramp because of the direction he was facing. He then reassured me that he would re-route and call me once he was able to get there. Another 20 minutes or so went by and I recieved another call that my brother's car was found by a AAA tow and he was likely on his way to a place called McCoy's Auto. Thanks to Jim I was able to contact McCoys and locate my brother. I can't even begin to express what a HUGE Blessing Jim was to me and my family today. His selfless act of kindness and above and beyond customer service will not soon be forgotten and I would recommend this place to anyone. I have actually stored their number in my phone (since we drive that route home to/from chicago often) incase we're ever in a situation where we can give our business to them. This place is a rare find and I hope that they are blessed 10 fold for the way they blessed us today! read more

The people saved our trip. We were driving from the northwest suburbs to Starved Rock. We had just gotten the AC compressor fixed in our car 3 days earlier. The AC stopped working about 20 minutes into our drive but we decided to keep going despite the fact that it was a 90° day. About an hour and 15 min away from home the car started overheating and a lot of light on the dash board started going off. We used google to find the nearest auto shop which happened to be Integrity. They immediately assessed the car and determined that the AC compressor was faulty. They feverishly worked on replacing it and even called the mechanic who installed the first one. Gary and his crew was nothing but honest and nice to us. We know people not to far and we told them that this is the place to go. We would recommend Integrity to anyone. Thank you for getting us back on the road to enjoy the rest of our weekend. read more
