I have had Andrew and Gregory Electric do so many improvements to my house I've lost count. They installed two Quiet Cool whole house fans that I'd brought used. They ran cat6 cable to the upstairs, which really helped with daughters remote learning. They installed a light in her bedroom where non had been before. Oh, they also fixed every issue my 26 year old house could throw at us. read more

I've used many electricians in the past and found Gregory Electric to be outstanding. Andrew was quick to email and provide details to me regarding options for the whole house fans available and the pros and cons.During his visit he arrived early, inspected the area, and gave me the finer details of the job. I received several quotes but Andrew did the best job reviewing the product and even saved us some money. On installation day he arrived at the time I designated 7:15 am and exceed my expectations in the installation of our new whole house fan. The installation went quickly and he reviewed options on the intake placement in the hallway, relocated a smoke detector, and installed the switches. I'm very happy and will be using Gregory Electric for future electrical needs. 3 cheers to Andrew and his team at Gregory Electric. read more

I found out about Gregory Electric through QuietCool's website. This company was listed as one of the certified installers. I called him and I couldn't believe the quality of service I received. There are several things that stood out to me regarding Andrew's service. Now, I normally do not write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to because Andrew's service, communication and quality of service was exceptional! :) 1. Communication. I value someone that communicates clearly, and follows up on phone calls. I left a voicemail when I contacted him and he contacted me back shortly. We settled on a date for him to install the quietcool I purchased on Amazon.com and a few days later, he called me to let me know that he could get a better deal for the quietcool (because there are better quietcool models that contractors are able to get, and consumers are not able to buy). All in all, I appreciated him communicating with me, and after calculating the costs, he saved me $200-300 since I bought the quietcool through him and it was a far superior model with better warranty! 2. Honesty. I appreciated how when he was telling me about the quietcool models that were available to him, he didn't try to push the most expensive model on me. I called other companies listed on yelp, and one particular company kept on pushing the most expensive model on me... stating that it's not worth getting the other ones because it would not be worth the energy savings and it would be the same as turning on the AC (He was wrong because I calculated the wattage that a classic quietcool uses vs. an AC unit). He gave me honest feedback about the pros and cons of the Trident vs. the Stealth Pro models. 3. Quality. Andrew arrived 10 minutes before his scheduled time. I appreciate someone showing up on time - I think it speaks a lot regarding their care for the customer's time. He was also very customer-minded; he and his coworker wore shoe covers while they were walking around my carpet. They went in and out of the house probably over 10 times, and every time, they would take off their cover when they went outside, and they would put the shoe cover back on as they entered into the home. The work they did was great, and they were able to do finish the project in less than 3 hours (other contractors said that it would take a whole day, or at least 5-7 hours). I also asked him to help me look at one of our light fixtures which recently went out, and he fixed it for me in 10 minutes, and didn't charge me anything!!! 4. Price. Andrew's pricing was better than 4 other yelp businesses that I called. I was satisfied with his price, and he saved me $200-$300 by offering to purchase the contractor-level quietcool models (they have a longer warranty, more airflow capacity, and less energy). I would not hesitate to use these guys again! read more

I've been looking for a reliable electrician to install some pendant lighting for my kitchen and some extra lighting for our hallway. Got referred Andrew by a friend and we couldn't be happier. He was very helpful in educating us on proper placement of our new hallway can lights to give us the most for our money. He was on time with his employee Brian and showed up wearing their masks and they were professional and clean. Our pendant lights look great and we couldn't be happier! We discussed with him about installing an attic fan and he was able to order one and install it a few weeks later. Andrew and Brian were amazing I will definitely be calling them again for any other electrical work I may need. read more

Gregory Electric - Electricians Near Me - Escondido, California

Andrew installed a Quiet Cool fan at my house on Saturday. He arrived promptly on time and the install went extremely well despite the fact I had another contractor at the house at the same time (not at all Andrews fault). Install of the fan, electrical work and directions on how the fan works was very professional and informative. Also gave me advice on other products to use to help cool off my attic space. Andrew was a very easy person to talk too and glad I used his services for the install. Highly recommended and hope to use him in the near future for other electrical needs at my home. read more

Andrew, the owner of Gregory Electric is so knowledgable and dedicated to his job. You could not find a more patient, reliable and competent electrician to do your job. We had a lot of,electrical work done in our home. lots of fixtures replaced, additional outlets , room fans and a whole house attic fan. We could not be more pl eased with the meticulous job and the attention to detail. We interviewed 3 other electricians and honestly there was no comparison in detail to job and fair pricing. Do yourself a favor and give Gregory Electric a call. You will not be disappointed. Daro and Lynn Diddell Escondido read more

This is a really great small company with very personalized service. Andrew is so nice and responds immediately to any question or need you have. I highly recommend Gregory Electric. They installed recessed lighting in my daughter's house. Their work was excellent, and their rates were very fair. They also did some additional electrical work and only charged for materials. Andrew, the owner, is the best electrician that have dealt with, and in the future I will hire them anytime I need electrical work done. If you are looking for quality work at a reasonable price, contract Andrew. read more

I called last Monday to set up an appointment for estimate on having whole house fan installed and spoke with Andrew. He told me he would call me back in 15 minutes. After an hour went by I called back and he gave me an estimate over the phone and set up an appointment to come on Wednesday. He did not show up and did not call to tell me he was not going to be able to make the appointment. Was very disappointed and they have lost a job because of this. read more

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE We contacted Gregory Electric about installing Quiet Cool fans in our attic on the recommendation of a friend. Andrew Gregory immediately came out and gave us an estimate and the fans were installed a couple of days later. Our home has two wings with separate attics and Andrew recommended two different fans sized to properly cool each wing and attic. His crew arrived on time and had both fans installed in half a day. The crew told us how best to operate the system for optimal efficiency in our home's floor plan. The installers were very clean and neat to the point that we did not see a single speck of anything after they left. The fan controls are very easy to operate, sort of like a light switch. When we first turn the fans on in the evening, our home cools down to a very comfortable temperature in about 10 minutes. We operate the fans during the night and by morning our home is 69 or 70 degrees. Although daytime temperatures have been in the mid to high 90's, since we installed the fans, we have not used the air conditioners in either wing. As I'm writing this it is 2 PM and the house is cool, because after a few days of operation the fans cool down the attic and mass of the home. Therefore, walls and floors do not radiate heat which formerly had built up and was stored in the walls and floors. The fans cost only a fraction of the cost of air conditioning and I can tell we are already saving a lot of money. We are very pleased with our new Quiet Cool fan system and the service provided by Gregory Electric, which provides outstanding professional service. read more

Great work at a reasonable price. Andrew and his crew installed electrical service for my new hot tub. They did everything right: they were responsive to my request for an estimate, came when they said they would, did the work in a very professional manner, on time, and left the place spotless. Couldn't have asked for anything more. read more

Super guy. He came to the house months ago and fixed all of my outside lights for like $80. Since he had a tall ladder, he changed all of the light bulbs in my entryway too, which were not part of the original problem ( with a smile). Today I called him because all of my Christmas lights quit working. He talked me through finding the GFI breaker in the garage...presto! I recommend highly. read more

Andrew did a great job of chasing down a short in our house. He arrived on time, analyzed the problem and fixed it. He is responsive, answered my questions and very efficient. We have been using Andrew for several years now. From our first experience, we were impressed. We asked him to hard wire an outdoor fountain. He worked hard and did a nice job, and even went to get the switch we needed when he did not have it, without charging us. He has since fixed outdoor landscape lighting, installed fixtures, and ceiling fans. He also helped us prepare one house for sale and inspected and fixed several issues at our new home. On top of it all, he is prompt, professional, friendly, and fairly priced. We can't recommend Andrew highly enough! Jen & Abel, Rancho Bernardo read more
