The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project. My project size was 15 cabinet doors, 3 small drawer boxes, 3 large drawer boxes and one aesthetic drawer face. It's a smaller refacing project since it's a small condo. The lowest quote I received was $5,000 and the highest was $14,000. In terms of pricing, he was on the lower end but not the lowest but considering the quality and customer service it's definitely fair pricing. I was about to move forward with the lowest quote I received but it became clear that responsiveness and customer service were not priorities and I felt very deflated. Then I found Reza and his upbeat, responsive attitude reinvigorated me. Reza is a gem. His quirky personality and his passion and knowledge for his work become evident quickly. He got me samples of the colors I was considering painted on a wood panel and he always replied to me within the hour. However it turned out even uglier in my opinion. He said if you looked at it from straight on it would not be noticeable, which is true, but from other angles it is a glaring eyesore. He did not tell me it would be beautiful only from one angle and I am very disappointed. So frankly I would not hire him for a repair. This is a reply to your offer. Thank you for your offer to redo the work, but when I expressed concerns after your initial repair, that would have been the time to discuss alternative approaches. At the time you left me with that was just the way it was because of the way light is refracted. I tried to ignore it but it leaps out at you every time you walk by. It is much worse than it was before and 4 times larger. I hired another company to come out and see what they could do. Although their repair still isn't perfect, it is significantly less noticeable. At this point, I don't feel confident that another attempt would achieve the results I would like.

It is the elegant, modern, clean bathroom I envisioned. They came in on budget and on time. They accommodated this crazy person without even rolling their eyes. Each and every carpenter, painter, tile installer, plumber and sub showed up, did a perfect job and was clean, honest, decent and hardworking. They were experienced, and it showed in their work and work ethic. Ron gave me a timeline and, for the most part, everything was accomplished on schedule. I didn't have to make any frantic calls. If there was any juggling to be done, Ron did it. And, Dunn was not the only bidder on the contract. I personally met with and got estimates and reviews from 5 others, and chose Dunn overwhelmingly -- and all estimates were basically the same. And, this was not the first time I'd renovated a bathroom -- it was the third! However, this experience was, without a doubt, the best. I have recomended Dunn without hesitation to my friends and family. We are planning to renovate another bathroom and the kitchen. I will absolutely contract with Dunn for both jobs.

However, when I returned unexpectedly only for a week, he was able to install the cabinet the next day. I can't say enough about the beautiful workmanship and quality of the cabinet he made. We met with her two times and she had the design complete within 3 weeks. She's very good at listening and adjusting as we went. She also kept a budget in mind and did not ever try to steer us into a pricier option than necessary. Unfortunately we have to put the project on hold as other more necessary renovations are needed. Never once did Cheyenne make me feel bad or try to convince us to move forward. She was gracious and we look forward to picking back up with her in the new year. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.
