Aaron was hired to do our kitchen remodel after we had a flood. He was recommended by a client of mine. It seemed OK at 1st .as the job went on we realized That the jobs that he was doing we're not being completed. The electrical that he did we were grossly overcharged and it is now a hazard and done completely wrong we now have to hire a company to come in and completely redo it the plumbing that he touched completely wrong and drilled through our custom cabinetry. our beautiful custom cabinets looked ruined. where he did some finishing work they are all crooked and they look horrible. The paint job Through our entire house needs to be gone over again. everything was pointed out to him In a very nice wayand he would not take ownership for any of the mistakes and didn't complete anything just demanded that we pay him the remainder of the balance before any of the jobs were completed and that did not sit right to me so he walked off our jobs stole some of our cabinetry among other things and left her house a complete disaster. We also had $5000 countertops installed from another company that did a beautiful job as he continued to work he did not protect them and caused some damage. I'm just in shock expression the at stressful times like these and I have 5 children in a family that we're all trying to live in this mess. I feel we were very taken advantage of and now I left without thousands and thousands of dollars we paid him for the job to do and have to hire somebody else to completely finish. I don't know what happened to him along the process but something was not right and I hope and pray that it gets better for him in the future because this was just unacceptable work. My husband and I are very nice people and respected him and were very nice during this process we paid him every 2 weeks and he was paid $8000 Plus the materials that I bought which were supposed to be plumbing materials for our dishwasher and sync and looking at the receipts he had charged me for tools that he actually needed which I find appalling he should be able to provide tools for the business that he has. I also had a designer helping me in the beginning of the job and another welder building a custom Hud for me and they both had a horrible experience dealing with Aaron. Very difficult to communicate with.To say I'm in shock is the least of it I'm pretty devastated at the condition of our home. If I could I would leave 0 stars. Aaron is a real piece of work. He has repeatedly done crappy work on houses. He recently did my downstairs flooring in my house and the tile is not level. There are numerous spots throughout the downstairs that need to be replaced. He refuses to come back to my house and fix it. He wont answer my calls anymore. This company is a joke. I hope Aaron gets what he has coming for him and has to close up his shop. read more

All remodels have issues. I'm aware of that. Aaron Baldwin did not satisfactorily resolve our issues. See that beautiful shower he recently posted pictures of? The one with the pebble floor and pretty lit inset tile space? It really is gorgeous....from a distance. I chose the materials and his guys installed it. It was my present to myself for my 50th birthday. While it is gorgeous, it has never worked properly. I have informed Aaron numerous times that the shower needs to be adjusted because it is scalding me. He told me that there is nothing wrong with it and if I wanted I could have another plumber fix it and pay for it myself. What a guy!! Notice that there is one picture that has bath products in the shower and the other pictures have none? Recently I made an appt to meet with Aaron at the house so he could fix my shower. He didn't show up for that appt. Instead he sent 2 of his workers. I showed them what I needed and went to work. Apparently Aaron showed up after I left and he stayed long enough to take the photo that has bath product in it. He never attempted to fix the shower. He apparently never intended to fix the shower. He just wanted another picture of it. Another disappointment about the shower is that three of the pretty tiles are very noticeably chipped. They're not on the edge, they are right in the center of the inset. VERY noticeable chips. I paid a lot for those tiles and that shower so I wanted it to be right. When l asked Aaron to fix the tiles he said something to the effect of "We could try but it would be really hard. Those tiles chip easily." Well I'm pretty sure that someone out there knows how to install these tiles without chipping them. You cannot count on Aaron and his team for this. Again, the shower looks great from a distance but you'll get burned if you use it and you may cut yourself on the chipped tile or the screws on the drain that weren't screwed in all the way. There is SO much more to this story. I'm only talking about my shower right now but he remodeled my entire house. So many things were left undone and Aaron himself disappointed me on so many levels. The moral of this story is, If you want a professional contractor who will take accountability when things go wrong or if you want your project to look finished and actually operate at the end, call someone else. read more

It's difficult to choose just one attribute to describe Baldwin Brothers Construction Inc. Aaron Baldwin has continually proven to be an extremely valuable asset to us on several occasions. His creativity, flexibility and diligence make him an absolute pleasure to work with. And the people who work with him are exceptional. I have recommended him to others who are also exceedingly pleased with his performance. Aaron has remodeled one bathroom, one kitchen, installed stone flooring in a beautiful Versailles pattern in our entry, kitchen and bath, and has installed lighting for us. I've been meaning to write this review for Baldwin Brothers for over three years. We've owned homes for over forty years so we've experienced all sorts of contractors: some good and some should be chased out of town. So when you come across perfection, you've got to tell someone. Our home is beautiful but because it's old, there isn't a square edge or flat surface in the place. We had no idea how Aaron could level this concrete slab with all its pitches and valleys. It was a mess before he started. Yet he worked his miracle on nearly 2,000 sq feet of tile. There are no raised edges and no cracks, even three years later. He made our lumpy and bumpy floor perfectly flat. This guy is a keeper. I give him my highest recommendation. read more

What a great team-starts with the owner, Aaron Baldwin, and finishes with all his workers-they do a great job! Very conscientious, hard working, thorough, and pleasant-they did a fantastic job laying a master bathroom floor for us in a Versailles pattern travertine. Very clean and tidy too! Exceeded all expectations! They were referred by a neighbor for whom they did a massive flooring job and she was so right to recommend them. I called Aaron at Baldwin Brothers Construction to have someone come out for several projects needed for my office. He returned my call quickly and set up two workers for the next day. The jobs were completed with accuracy and on time by George and Caesar, who seemed very knowledgeable. I would use them again and recommend them. read more

Contracted Baldwin Brothers to do several jobs based on his sale's pitch and Yelp references. I hired him to remove a very large gazebo and shed, put a slate facade on an exterior of a fireplace, and remodel an old guest bathroom. Work was finished 11/4/13. First 2 jobs went as planned but the remodel of the bathroom was another story. Job was to take 3 1/2 weeks. At almost 6 weeks he showed for final payment and claimed he would return to fix any issues that remained. Basically I paid him off to get him out. I fixed all the issues that remained. As he said "anything that could go wrong went wrong". Needless to say that was the last thing I wanted to hear from him. He never returned to fix any of the remaining issues or remove his lock box. I still have it. I had issues with his onsite foreman. He took every short cut he could. I had to call him on the ceiling work that he did and required rework. His dry wall was horrible and as Aaron stated "unacceptable". Problem is fixing drywall is difficult at best and the final looks like an apartment job. I had to argue with his foreman about installation of the shower pan. Manufacture required a stabilizing compound be used to strengthen the pan. The foreman kept telling me the pan was strong enough without it. I told him that was what "I" wanted and do it. That is why I am here now. I had to use the guest shower today and while using it I heard 2 very sharp cracks. I sounded the shower pan and sure enough it is hollow. No compound was used so what I heard was the shower pan lip breaking from the tile. When they finished installing the bathroom sink they could not get the sink to quit leaking. They claimed manufacturer defect. It took me only 10 minutes to fix. Complete lack of attention to detail. Also when his crew did arrive to work they showed up at 9, 10, or 11 and left at 1, 2 or 3 but they were always gone when I got home at 3:30. I have rebuilt most of this house myself (carpenter/millwright by trade)but my job is taking too much of my time so that is why I contracted it out. I hate talking bad about anyone but I would never hire this company again. Also if Aaron wants his lock box back it is still sitting by the steps. read more

I was referred to Aaron Baldwin by a friend who had used him. I needed a partial bathroom remodel, tearing out a thirty year old massive oversized tub and putting in its place a large walk in shower. Right from the beginning Aaron took the stress out of the situation from the design, bringing me up tile samples to look at etc. The only thing I had to go out and purchase was the valve, shower heads and faucets. He used top quality German made products and the whole job went extremely smoothly and I could not be happier. Aaron and George are completely trustworthy and were in my home without my presence most of the time. Their clean up at the end of the day was impressive and any questions were immediately addressed. You can call Aaron on the phone and most of the time he will pick up straight away. I am so impressed with him that I am currently working with him to have my kitchen counter tops replaced as I know that I will get a fabulous professional job without any stress.
