I called him and he had completely forgotten about me coming by and like a typical boomer, must not keep an electronic calendar. When he finally showed up we agreed that he would sand, stain, and lacquer the top to remove the damage of 8 years of usage for $400. When I went to pick it up it was apparent that he didn't sand the top at all. Surface scratches and glass marks were still there. I confronted him and he just lied to my face and said he sanded it. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. This man is a fraud and shouldn't be trusted. I wasn't going to argue with him and then leave my expensive table in his possession, so I paid and left. I asked for my money back by text and he continued to lie to me. I would guess that he just rubbed stain on the cracks and put one layer of lacquer on it. 10 minutes of work. $400.
