Where other deck builders I spoke to seemed shaky/flaky about my project, John was solution-oriented, brave, and responsive. That confidence is ultimately why I hired him. Abraham Sr and Jr, the builders, are true craftsmen. They work hard, move fast, and were always open to dialogue when something needed improvising on the spot. Hardscaping wasn't part of the project. They're upfront that it's not their focus, so I brought in a separate company for that piece, no issue at all. While this isn't the least expensive deck builder in San Diego, the quality and honesty are there. Where I did blow past my original budget, John flagged it ahead of time, so it was never a surprise.
