The Greer cafe is a really cute place and I always enjoy coming in. They are staffed by young friendly kids who really go out of their way to make you happy. I have yet to had anything bad, or even mediocre here. The sandwiches and shakes are very nice, pizza as well. We had the Killer BLT ($8.95 + $2.00 for added turkey)= it's smoked bacon with roasted red peppers, avocado on wheatberry bread. So good. It was massive as well- you can split this between two people. The roasted red peppers were a really nice addition. We also had the Hot Pastrami ($8.95) which is a standard recipe, but really, really nicely done. We all had sides on macaroni salad, which I usually don't like- but this one was very good. My one complaint was the kid's meal..and I think this was our fault for not thinking it over, but the price was something like $4.00 for the tiny pizza...and $1.50 for each topping..so as kids do, many toppings were added. In the end we could of just ordered a normal sized pizza for the same price. Oh well- it tasted good and those prices are stated on the menu. The shakes are really good- we tried a few flavors. Me and the bf spent our mini-holiday in Greer, this weekend. We passed this cafe bout a handful of times not giving it much thought. Strangely, one day, we were both craving breakfast food. So we stopped by and perused their menu. Free Wi-Fi was a big plus! Flexibility of the cook/chef was highly appreciated. It was still breakfast. They have another hour before they accept lunch orders. We were craving breakfast food, as I shared early on. But after going through their lunch menu, their Gyro caught our hungry tummies. We inquired if they would consider taking our lunch order versus breakfast. They were more than happy to accommodate us. *hurrah* Our server was knowledgeable, and prompt. The quality of food was fresh, and tasty. Will not reccommend this spot at all to anyone. This spot is just between my instagram, facebook, running group, church group, family, and colleagues. I have eaten at EVERY restaurant in Greer, multiple times, and now will only go elsewhere if Greer Cafe is closed or I want to drink. Between my husband and I, this weekend we had the Quiche, Breakfast paninni, turkey sandwich, tree-hugger, Carmel apple pie and a most amazing mocha shake. YUMMIIEEE!!! As I read through them, I noticed that I have had very similar and positive experiences as other reviewers, meaning that not only is this place great, they are consistently great! This is a little gem down in the heart of Greer, AZ. Offering good coffee drinks, breakfast, lunch, and desserts, in addition to a store selling Greer, AZ products and novelty items (t-shirts, etc.). There is a playground out front, and plenty of space to walk the beautiful grounds along the Little Colorado River. Free WiFi! Beautiful area! read more

Cute place, love to eat at local places and support them but, I don't know how this place has a 4.5 in rating (reason why we went here). Our server was terrible, as soon as we walked in, she was already rushing us to order within 5 minutes of sitting down, it was only 6pm, still had an hour before they were closed. We ordered the gyro, bacon bleu burger, double burger, 12 wings (asked for only wings no drumsticks),rodeo burger and a bleu bob sandwich, 3 soups, potato salad and macaroni salad. The first meal came out fine, then went downhill from there, two burgers were messed up, the bleu bob never came out or got corrected, the chicken wings were all drumsticks and one wing, and as soon as we let our server know, she just rudely said " im vegetarian, I don't know what wings are" then went off in the back corner to be on her phone while her friend sat there, then didnt check on us, or even apologize. Finally we got our checks with a rude attitude from her, and since im a server myself, I couldn't leave a bad tip no matter how horrible the service was. Before we left we said thank you to Savvy, no reply. To top that off, while walking back to our car I looked back in hopes to see that she atleast ended her night with a smile, since we left her over 30% tip, instead we got the death stare from her friend while walking up to the front window and Savvy flailing her arms in a pissed of demeanor. I honestly wanted to walk back in and grab the tip back. RUDE. Oh P.S. thanks for the five dollars off on the wings. Grateful for this 1 restaurant in area to serve dinner. Not bad. Ordered prime rib which was oddly dry and tough but edible. Limited hours. Don't understand opening up at 8am for breakfast in an active, outdoorsy area. Would have stopped every morning on way to activities if they were open. read more

Stopped in at this spot after settling in our lodge up the street. The staff was SO friendly and welcoming. We shared a large salad and a large pizza. I believe the pizza was called the "crying Hawaiian" it was DELICIOUS! We tried to save room for the yummy looking pies on showcase, but we were too stuffed. It's hard to believe that one could find food this great in a tiny little town. I consider myself an Eggs Benedict afficionado. Well, brace yourself for the BEST ever. My husband & I were in Greer for a week with our two grandchildren & we ate at least one meal a day there. How did they get tomatoes that taste like tomatoes in the winter? Walked in and wasn't greeted. Three people working there, one customer in line ahead of us (no one else in the place btw) ordering several drinks. The Barista takes the order, makes it without help from coworkers hanging out in the kitchen behind her, and after 18 mins in line without taking our order, finishing theirs or ringing them up, we finally left and went down the road to their competitors 92 Beans, where the service resembled something normal. read more

This is a most visit cafe in the white mountains of Arizona. I happened upon it while lookig for a bag of ice to keep my four trout cool. A charming village as we woul say in old England, although it reminded me of a few mountain villages in the Swiss Alps I had visited back in the 60's and 70's. We found a new little place to enjoy on Main Street! The Greer Cafe was such a treat. I have been enjoying our family cabin in Greer for 30+ years and this new little spot deserves some praise! The staff was welcoming, the tables were clean, the service was above average and the food was GREAT! Not to mention the free wi-fi and Verizon cell boost; my phone rang for the first time in 3 days, which startled me because I forgot that my phone was even on. We had the Supreme pizza for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next morning to try out their breakfast menu. My mind was blown when I devoured my 2 egg breakfast. Their hash-browns were the best I've ever eaten and my eggs were delivered over easy like I ordered them! The toast was amazing as well; now I know some of you might be thinking how could toast be amazing? Well, have you ever had sourdough that turned into a brick after toasting? Yes? Then try their sourdough toast because if will remain fluffy and yet semi crunchy like toast was meant to be. Furthermore, their sausage was off the charts! I never knew what a sausage patty was supposed to taste like till now. While at the bar on Friday night I told anyone who asked where was the place to go to have a quick bite about the Greer Cafe. So if you haven't tried it yet than get your hinnie over there and enjoy some good grub at reasonable prices! The pizza was great, and so was their lemonade. But our lunch was just over $22. I left a $5 tip with my credit card. So my bill should have been just over $27. I got charged $32 to my credit card. I went to The Greer Cafe on Thursday, July 5 for breakfast. I had my two sister-in-laws and mother-in-law with me. I ordered the American Panini and loved it.
