A really cool coffee, antique and craft store. At the entrance there is outdoor seating with interesting art. Inside you are in a coffee shop with antiques and other art to purchase. Then you can tour throught the booths and hall to the back where it is more craft oriented. Lots to see, and check out for unique items. It will take a little time to visit. Prices are fair. Every year my husband and I stop in for a coffee and some sweet treats. I lovvvvve this place so much. The inside is also a cute antique shop. We love sitting outside if it's warm, and sometimes when we've gone in there is live music! So much fun. The coffee is to die for and I love chatting with the staff. The women I usually order with are so bright and you can tell they love working there! They always have fresher baked snacks and we love grabbing anything pumpkin or something seasonal when we go in. This place is a must stop if you are going through Springerville! The decor is a chaotic but wonderfully placed vintage chic that is so pleasant to take in. The owner is a lovely lady who makes you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door! What a gem! Great coffee (I expected an ordinary cup of coffee and the owner prepared a great americano), intriguing surroundings, and great company. Who would have expected such a nice strong cup of joe in this very peaceful, but quite small, town. Don't be discouraged by the name if you're a die hard java consumer (I almost was, but thankfully my wife said let's try it), it's really "java and jewels" or "coffee and collectibles". Their shop is full of very thoughtfully selected (and affordable) collectibles. The owners are entitled to brag more about their place. We'll be back! read more

We love this place. We were in Springerville for 7 weeks and I gotta say this place was a frequent stop for us. The coffee was great and the service was outstanding. Friendly faces, good coffee, cool surroundings, and tasty baked goods. It was hard not to make this a daily stop during our time there. I wish i knew how to make cinnamon rolls as good as theirs!! The ambience is delightful, the pastries look delicious, the coffee was perfect, and the person who served us couldn't have been sweeter, but when they say "Junk", I'm pretty sure they're referring to the quiche. The nicest thing that could be said about it is that it's a perfect square. My husband complained about his sodden "meat lover's" quiche until I sweetly offered him a bite of mine, which might be kindly described as the "sponge lover's". Defrost some spinach, drop in a dish sponge, remove and freeze the green-flecked sponge for two months, microwave. He was prudently silent after that, except to compliment the orange slices. If a squishy yet chewy "quiche" completely devoid of cream, salt, cheese, flavor, or a crust is what you're after, this is the one for you. read more

Junk & Java was a lifesaver! I was called away from camping in the nearby mountains with my family to draft a court filing that had to be submitted within a short period of time. I needed a place for my laptop to charge and which had a strong internet connection (and coffee and calories). I also needed a quiet place to spend about six hours to think and write--Java & Junk provided all of this and was more than welcoming. Couldn't be more appreciative, and I hope to visit again under less pressing circumstances. read more
