    Mediterranean Salad
    Sarah J.

Totally exceeded my expectations. Definitely a great spot to stop, no matter if you are craving a lite bite, filling meal, fun drink of some sort. I had the Mediterranean salad and was blown away. Top 10 salads I've ever had, anywhere! Very surprised since it was such a remote place to venture to. Little marketplace goods were fun to browse and buy, and service was incredible.

    Some of the selection.

A pleasant Sunday morning breakfast. Good food and a super waitress. Got some tips on local spots to visit, too!

They cook very good food and will accommodate you if you need something not on the menu. I walked in just before closing and they offered to cook me something just the same. I came back the next day for their fried catfish and hushpuppies (made with green chilis). My vegetarian friend was provided vegetarian soup the night before, and fixed a salad and improvised quinoa dish with vegies when we went back. They go the extra mile. Very good folks! Wish I could have gone back on Derby Day to see what bourbon concoctions they had. :)

The biscuits and gravy were excellent, which isn't easy for most kitchens to achieve. The eggs and bacon were great, too, prepared as I had ordered them. Staff were the owners, who were super friendly and the food came quickly. The interior is that of a small town diner put into what was probably a house at some point. It was clean, a little kitschy, and quiet the morning we were in. It's nice to see them making a go of it with a restaurant and being up to the task of succeeding. Great stop on our motorcycle rides out that way. Sorry, didn't take pics, but it was appetizing.

I had made reservations in the bar to watch the NFL draft. They put us as far away from the smaller TV as they could and right next to the music speakers. We ordered Rye Old Fashioneds to start. They served us kiddie cherry juice and soda with a splash of rye. We complained that these were not old fashioneds and the bartender said that "that is how they make an Old Fashioned". So if we order fried chicken, would we get spaghetti and meatballs? This was ridiculous. The bartender did not offer to make us something else - he just walked away. We tried the raviolli special as a shared app. It was reheated frozen garbage on canned stewed tomatos. My friend had a brisket sandwich and I had the jalapeno burger for entres. Both were unremarkable and overpriced. We were both stomach sick for two days after eating here - must have been the ravioli "special". I cant imagine how I enjoyed our visit years ago. The owner sits in the dining room and greets guests as they come and go - friendly but wierd. He needs to fix his bad breath if he wants to talk to all the guests.

Creative Comfort Food and Outstanding Service in Snowflake…read more We stumbled upon Streets on Main during a quick Yelp search one evening--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff genuinely enjoyed working there and cared about our experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat. The menu offers a wide variety of creative dishes. My wife ordered the Fried Pickle Burger, which came with a unique tomatillo ranch sauce--it was both inventive and delicious. I had the Nashville Hot BBQ Chicken Sandwich special, and it lived up to the name: full of flavor with just the right kick. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Since it was Mother's Day weekend, they were offering a complimentary dessert with a meal for all mothers. My wife chose the peach cobbler, and it was not only generously portioned but also absolutely delicious. A sign inside proudly proclaims they've been voted Best of the White Mountains for the past four years. Based on our visit, I have no doubt that streak will continue. The only (minor) disappointment was that they don't yet serve beer or wine, though the staff mentioned they're looking into adding it in the future. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Snowflake or local to the area--you won't be disappointed.
