Angelhair pesto chicken pasta
Brendan C.

A old beat down shack with frozen reheated entrees. My girlfriend ordered the pappardelle pasta and got angel hair marinara pasta with pesto chicken on top. Eh, looks funky and not what she ordered but we were comped a piece of chocolate mousse cake which we ate with plastic forks that they brought with it. I ordered a stew which tasted very canned and was brought a wet dinner salad with no dressing. After I had a bite I asked our waiter for some dressing. He came back with our entrees 5 minutes later so I abandoned the salad. This is connected to the sunrise lodge and both are lacking any quality. They have a monopoly of being the only hotel and restaurant within 20 minutes (edited for Adam L. thanks for so nicely correcting me!) so they can really so whatever they want. If you want a nice quality vacation spot don't stay or eat here.

Little Fork is a small restaurant in Greer. They have both inside and outside seating…read more We were greeted as we arrived, seated and our drink orders were taken. When we were ready the server came over and took our order. We had to wait a bit, but when our food arrived it was amazing. My wife and I agree that this was our best meal in the week and a half we've been in Showlow. My wife had the Chicken Caprese Flatbread and loved it. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It has just enough jalapeños to add a nice flavor to the pulled pork (for those who don't like spicy, I think you'll still like this sandwich). Great place! Highly recommended! P.S. For the owners (in case you read this). When guests arrive they're handed a menu with breakfast items on one side and lunch on the other. No times are listed for when breakfast stops and lunch begins. As the host/hostess hands the menu to people it would be good if they said something like "we're currently serving breakfast or lunch. We had a question about this and I heard at least two other table who had the same question.

We stopped in after a hike hoping to try the new pizza oven but it wasn't open. There is a server…read morethat takes your order at the table and brings your order. You pay inside at the register. We shared a grilled cheese sandwich and wild berry salad. The sandwich was on white bread with 3 cheeses. The salad was fantastic, lots of chicken, which was an additional charge and berries. We learned they will have live music on Saturday night and the pizza oven burns hot on Friday (after 3PM), and Saturday (12-9), lots of seating out front and cute wine barrels.
