My friend and I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich served on a brioche roll. The chicken was very dry, tough, thin, tasteless and overcooked (close to burnt). I took a couple of bites and didnt eat the rest....horrible!! When we voiced our concerns (in a very friendly manner) we were told there was nothing wrong with the entree. The waitress was pleasant but the cook appeared to be very uncaring. We paid a lot for our meals and will NEVER GO BACK!! Buyer beware! read more

We were in pinetop-lakeside for a few days so so we decided to give Mr Zeke's a try. We started with the Caprese salad, it had a dab of pesto on each piece which really mad it stand out. I ordered the Rubin, overall it was good but there wasn't enough meat on it and there was some grizzle in the meat, but it was tasty. My wife had the Philly sandwich, the meat was overcooked even though she asked before she ordered it "is it well done". so that wasn't so good. This place did not impress me. Let's talk about the food first. I got the Capresse salad, and not only was its price horrendous, but the mozzarella was thick as a mega marshmallow, the tomato was nearly inedible, and the basil leaf tasted felt like rubber. Glad I ordered some extra chicken, because that was the only filling thing I ate. The service...not good. I was sat down reasonably fine, but that wasn't the problem. The waitress kept ignoring me and bumping into other people sitting down. The drinks I got were split into two groups: A. Super sticky and filled with syrup without much carbonation, or B. Seltzer water with a hint of Diet Pepsi. The waitress, for no reason at all, slammed the silverware onto the napkin, causing a loud noise. Service is a fail. Lastly, the ambiance. The outside was okay, and the door was maintained neatly, but here's where it's bad. As soon as I step in there, I see a dusty floor that they probably haven't cleaned or maintained in a week. There's also a smoke or steam of some sort coming from the tables, don't know why. It's also very dim inside, to the point where you almost need a light or something to clearly read the menu. I will not be coming back, since there are some other really good places in-town, unlike this. The food pictures are really deceiving, too. The salad looked really big, nearly the same size as the plate, but the actual salad filled a third of what I expected, so this place has lost my business. read more

I love this place! They have amazing burgers and fries. There are other dishes as well. Very relaxed and easy going atmosphere. The service was also excellent as well. Would highly recommend. read more

"For heaven's ZEKE :-)" I am pretty sure this would be your line once you dined in at Mr. Zeke's restaurant: The food is great. Service is commendable. The ambiance is artistically designed. We came here for dinner at Mr. Zeke's restaurant in Pinetop. I had the surf and turf tacos. These are 3 tacos served with steak, spicy-sweet slaw and homemade pico. I opted to have a sauteed shrimp on it. The combination of meat and seafood was perfectly balanced. Also, the salmon we ordered was moist and flavorfully cooked. I wanted a refreshing drink. The server suggested Arnold Palmer drink. It is a layered beverage that starts with the rich flavor of tea and finishes with a refreshing lemony twist. For dessert, we ordered their cheesecake (as I absolutely love cheesecakes) with fresh strawberry and topped with strawberry syrup and chocolate syrup. It was truly mouthwatering, with a creamy texture and a rich taste to your palate. The service was accommodating. Our server was keen that he checked on us to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. Mr. Zeke will always be a place I want to go back to. It's a must-visit in Pinetop. read more

The food was very good. My husband got the Patty Melt with fries which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Sweet Summer salad which was delicious, and they did not skimp on the toppings! The dressing that went with it gave it a great balance. I got a side salmon but felt it tasted a little fishy but great portion sizes. We will definitely be back! read more

Mr. Zeke's was a good find for us as we had our pup Archie with us after a walk around Woodland Lake. Their enclosed front patio provided welcome shade on this very warm afternoon. The servers were very friendly and thoughtful, ensuring Archie had water and a treat, after asking us,of course. Their burgers are large and delicious, served on a brioche bun. They have all day breakfast Thursday-Sunday too so you don't have to rush to get breakfast. read more

First time at Mr Zeke's. We walked in and were seated immediately. We had five entries. Two salads, one Chefs salad and one Sweet Summer salad. Vegetables were fresh, crisp and tasty. Alfredo paste was creamy and satisfying. The burger were outstanding, one cheeseburger and one hangover burger. Both were juicy and flavorful. Some cool wall art and a chilled vibe. First time going and this place is a new favorite. We got the Zeke's sample platter for an appetizer with the fire fries and fried shrimp. All of that was amazing. Husband got the ribs which fell off the bone and had such good flavor. I got the Alfredo Cordon Bleu sandwich and wowowowowowow. It was also cold out so we got hot cocoa which I loved. Portions are pretty large so we have quite a bit to take home. Definitely coming back because of how many unique things they have on the menu. Staff was also super friendly! read more

This place is not closed, first of all. When they first opened, we enjoyed lunch there. Been years since we went back, tonight we tried it again. I have surgery tomorrow and for my final meal before that, I chose a caprese salad with salmon (20 dollar cost) and my husband ordered fiery pasta. When he brought it home, there was no salmon and no dressing for the salad. After paying 52 dollars with tip, I was disappointed. The mozzarella was flavorless, the basil was flavorless, the tomatoes were watery. My husband, who loves spicy things, thought his pasta was unbearably spicy. I contacted them to let them know of our displeasure and they offered us a 25 dollar gift card to use in the next few weeks. We might make it, but I suggest not veering from the lunch menu. We were passing through Pinetop on vacation and chose this restaurant because of their Yelp reviews and they were listed as having a dog friendly patio. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and the patio is in front with blinds to block it from the parking lot. We sat at the end table since we had two dogs. The hostess brought out a large water bowl for the dogs without being asked, so nice. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which was made with multiple different kinds of cheese and thick Parmesan bread that was delicious. My husband got the Reuben sandwich which was packed full of meat. Then we both got the garlic fries was a side, so good! Their menu was very extensive but not too many beers to choose from, though they did carry our favorites so not a problem. The waitress and hostess were both extremely friendly and accommodating with the dogs. I definitely recommend it if you're in the area. read more

I have a story about this place.... & it truly has nothing to do with 'Zeke's' but it happened at Zeke's, so I'm telling it here. First. Place is cute. Inside and outside seating. Food is decent. Service is decent. We got 'stuck' outside, so we didn't get to really see what goes on inside. We had a male server - we didn't get a ticket, so I don't know his name to give him credit for his great service. The story: July 7th 2023. We pull into the parking lot. It's tight, crowed and not many spots for ALL THE STORES TO SHARE. We head to a spot and noticed another car heading there. We asked if they were going for that spot but all the old man said was 'are you so-n-so?' We said no. He said 'oh; I thought you were my family'. We smiled, said no & parked as the old man kept going, dropped off his dining party at the door of Zeke's and went off to park. We went inside, gave our name and asked for a table for 4. Staff told us they were cleaning a table and it would be just a few moments. They called us but when we went to the table, the same little old man from the parking lot went and sat at our table. We all stood there confused as the staff told him the table was for someone else. He wouldn't budge so we were asked if we wanted to sit outside. Not really but nothing else was available. We ordered, we ate, we waited for a check. Our server came over and told us that our check was paid for by our non family, family. So we knew it was the little old man. I tipped our server $40 & told him to tell 'whomever' that we thank them & appreciate his kindness. So IF that man or his family is reading this- THANK YOU. read more

This is a little hometown place. nothing fancy and it's perfect! put on your jeans a T, take family or friends. service was great. i sat on the patio by myself and chilled. i ordered the pasta carbonara and added grilled chicken for $6 extra. There were left overs so i took it to go and ate it for late night snack. I also ordered the peach cobbler to go and left off the ice cream. the peaches were fantastic, the breading/cobbler part wasn't great.It tasted very cinnamony and otherwise very bland. I wish I used the ice cream to mask that part. it was a great experience and i'll be back for more on their menu. read more
