Sent these folks to mom's house to evaluate a leak in the washing machine. They would not tell me what they found in their evaluation until I paid the diagnostic fee. Turns out the problem was not in the washer rather in the drain, so they would not be called to fix it in any case, but what was the harm in telling me that before I paid the diagnostic fee? Seems weird. Also have never ever had that response from a service firm. If they have such a stance on something simple, lord knows what they would do with a complex issue. Bad feeling on this one. Steer clear. Will never, ever call again. read more

Alex's team responded to my Yelp inquiry within minutes, and they were able to come out the same day my AC unit went out. Alex explained everything he was doing as he diagnosed the problem with our AC unit. It was a failed capacitor, and he was able to change it out on the spot. He also was able to measure the amount of freon in our system, and he needed to add more to improve our system. Afterwards, he came into the house to measure the temperature of the air coming out of the vents in my home to verify the problem was fixed. Overall, I'd highly recommend Fuse HVAC, and I will be using him for all my appliance or HVAC repairs in the future! read more

Amazing service, they were able to come out within a day of me calling when my refrigerator stopped working suddenly. Their rates were very reasonable and they quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me in a way that was easy to understand and offered two options for a fix -- since it was a quick one they did it right then! Such a relief after so much stress of an appliance breaking down without warning. Highly recommend! read more

UPDATE: I really appreciate the thorough response. But ultimately, it came down to the fact that I wasn't presented with the option of clearing the blocked drainage, which has proven to be a long-term, inexpensive solution. The person that helped me cleared the blockage, and I have been using the A/C system since then with no problems. I know you say you checked it, but that was ultimately what resolved the problem for me, so the lengthy explanation does not explain why the simplest solution wasn't found and attempted. And even if it wasn't the ideal solution, it should still be presented... I haven't had any problems since the other technician cleared the blockage. The A/C has been working well for several months. Can you understand how I would have liked to be presented with that solution? Something that was inexpensive, and resolved the problems that I was experiencing? That being said, I respect you and your team, and I would definitely try to work with you again, and raise the rating if warranted. Thanks for your help. Thanks for the offer of a refund, but you worked hard diagnosing the issue, and you earned the money, so I don't need it back. Best regards in your future. read more

We really liked the contractor Andrey who was sent out to install our new microwave. He was very respectful and kind, and I would definitely work with him again. They were also quick to set up an appointment and it was very convenient to use the Yelp app to make that happen. read more

Outstanding first experience with Service First! My 10 year old LG washer was not draining properly. They answered my call right away and set up an appointment for the next day after reviewing their reasonable price system ($70 charge to come out but that goes toward any repair which averages about $200-$300 in most cases). Seemed reasonable. My tech Dima was on time and messaged me prior to arrival. He was very knowledgeable about the washer and dryer and after pulling things apart, determined I had a bad drain pump and showed me how it was failing. He replaced the pump, checked out the overall system and had the washer running and back together in about two hours. He also gave me some helpful tips on preventive maintenance for my dryer. And best of all, the total cost for the repair was $325. Very reasonable and no surprise charges. This was a 180 degree different experience from another appliance repair guy I've used in Austin in the past. Highly recommend HVAC & Service First and their tech Dima. It was refreshing to be treated and charged fairly for a a repair service like this. I will be calling them again for work at my properties. read more

Everything was great! Easiest repair scheduling and repair experience I've had in a while. Scheduled for the same day, easy to schedule, fixed multiple problems with my dryer that had stopped heating (had to completely remove dryer front), dryer heats now, dryer no longer makes terrible sound. Reasonably priced, very good value for service. And last but not least, he had calm/normal/gentle energy (which is not always the case with service repairmen I've encountered in the past). read more

Reliable, fair price, this is the second time I called him out. Anything appliance related I trust him. Highly recommend.

Clean fast, efficient and knowledgeable. Fair price. The tech Dimitri was very professional and efficient.

They did respond in less than 10 min. and offered me an appt. later in the day for 2pm. The Tech, Daniel T., showed up exactly on time and had figured out our 15 yr. old refrigerator's problem within 10-15 min. - icing, probably caused by us not closing freezer door tightly several days prior. Daniel patiently explained what was going on and what remedies and diagnostic tests he was performing to make sure all the components were functioning properly. They were. The cost of the whole visit was way less than what Sears online service had quoted for the earliest appt. they had a week away. We're VERY happy and will certainly use HVAC&ASF - and Daniel T., we hope - for future appliance issues. read more

HVAC & Appliance Service First: A. Got back to me within 30 min. and had the lowest diagnostic price. B. Saw me the next day. C. Amal the tech. was early, polite, and knowledgeable. He was able to do the diagnostic in less than 20 min. and gave me other advice regarding washers. D. Amal is a good man. None of the gruff authoritarian attitude I get from some techs. E. Exactly what you read in all the top star reviews. Fast in disassembling our older model dryer, thorough in diagnostics, reasonably priced. Took the time to talk through findings. Knowledgeable and customer-service oriented. read more

My experience with this company and with their technician, Amal, exceeded all expectations. Online scheduling was super easy. I scheduled my appointment after hours, but they were still able to send out a technician the very next day. The projected arrival window was just two hours, and they texted me when Amal was on the way - and he arrived close to the very beginning of the projected arrival window. None of this waiting around all day for the technician to show up - YEAH! Amal was SO nice and very friendly, explained everything to me very clearly, even showing me photos to demonstrate what he was talking about. He was just a true pleasure to work with. We ultimately decided not to repair our ancient fridge and instead purchased a new one, but this was certainly no fault of Amal's, who was super professional and really helped by giving us an honest repair quote, which is what we needed to make that decision. The diagnostic fee was just $70, which I felt was more than fair. Had we gone forward with fixing our fridge, they would have credited the diagnostic fee toward the repair. If I ever need appliance or HVAC repair in the future, I won't hesitate to call these guys again. It was a very pleasant experience. read more

On time, professional service of LG gas dryer. Replaced bears and belt, now 17 year old dryer works great.

Aaron was able to fix our dryer in less than two hours on very short notice. He was super respectful and easy to communicate with!

Vladimir assessed our LG washer quickly and was able to fix it within the hour. Easy to schedule. Good explanations of the work. Thank you!

Stayed until the job was done, which I appreciate since it was an hour after they technically closed. Late hours helpful since we work to 6.

Highly recommend Fuse. I had a problem with my LG washing machine. They asked for my model and serial number, arrived with part in hand based on my error code the morning after I called them. Vlad was very punctual and kept me updated on his arrival time. He showed me the broken part and explained how it compared to the new one. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them. read more

I hardly ever leave reviews, but felt compelled since I found this business on Yelp. Originally, I called a local place to repair our Samsung washer, which was having balance issues for some time now. They had a $149.99 diagnostic fee and couldn't come until Friday (calling the Monday before). I googled "washer repair" and this company came up in the top results from Yelp. They had a $70 diagnostic fee that applies to your cost if you decide to have them do the repair, which I've found is pretty common. On top of that they insisted they could get someone out possibly the same day, and if not, for sure the next day. I was just fine waiting but he said someone could come between 4-6pm so I accepted. I got a text when our repairman was on the way, along with the name of who was coming. Kiryl was the one to service our washer. He explained VERY well what was wrong and it was a common problem. He said he thought he could repair it without having to replace the suspension parts. I was elated. He made sure I was comfortable with the pricing and asked if he should move forward with the repair. I accepted and he said to give him 20 minutes to fix. He worked fast and was so polite! He didn't even have to stay through the full spin cycle but he really wanted to make sure that the cycle completed. Another last thing I was super pleased with was that I could pay through an invoice online. I got a text soon after and was able to pay easily. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for a washer repair!! Can't say enough good things about our experience, and I'm even happier that my washer is fixed! read more

Update: Daniel was 100% correct. I had ice by Monday and my fridge is cooling better than ever!

Wow! Amazing service. I reached out about our Maytag Washer not working around 2:45 today and got a call back almost immediately. The tech - Kiryl was at our house less than an hour later. He diagnosed the issue quickly, made the repairs in less than an hour. Kiryl even explained to my husband the issue and was incredibly kind and helpful. THANKS so much! read more

Our 'fridge went out in June. We were impressed with how attentive Alexsey was to the issue (I hope I spelled his name correctly...) He was also very respectful of our home, and considerate in regard to keeping things tidy around him. We were most pleased with how fair the price was for all the time he spent on the diagnostics and repair. Fast forward 4 months, the problem recurred. Alexsey was back here in less than 24 hours, and was just as pleasant and professional as the first time. He had quickly had things working again. I didn't even have to mention the guarantee on the work done in June, it was honored without a word. Alexsey and Tech Service First is gold! My only complaint is they use different names in different places, so it took a moment to find them here on Yelp so I could leave this review. read more

My LG fridge stopped working Friday and the freezer had thawed out. I called Tech Service First Saturday morning and Kiryl came out in the afternoon to diagnose the problem which turned out to be a bad compressor. Luckily, they had one in stock and Kiryl was able to install on Monday afternoon. Turns out the LG had a class action suit due to their poor compressor design causing problems for many customers. They extended the warrantee for the compressor to 10 years. My fridge was over 10 years old and I did not have a receipt anymore so I could not make a claim to LG. Kiryl called me a week later to inform me that they contacted LG and about the compressor and that LG had agreed to refund the cost of the compressor. Tech Service First was returning $377 to my credit card. This was a nice surprise to be sure! I highly recommend Tech Service First for their quick excellent service, and professionalism. I called this service provider because my washing machine was not completing a cycle. We tried troubleshooting, and nothing worked. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. I was also happy with how communicative they were in terms of letting me know the price for a diagnostic in advance, and letting me know when the technician was on his way. Most of all, we received great service from this provider. Alexey is super qualified, good at explaining everything, and just made us feel comfortable that we were getting the best possible service. He speaks Russian as well as English which was convenient for me. Of course the washer works now! If anything else breaks, we will definitely be calling this company. read more

Excellent service. They fixed my refrigerator. Highly recommended. Ive used their service twice and both times it was great. Thanks

Alex correctly diagnosed, ordered parts, and fixed a wine fridge of mine that wasn't cooling properly. At all times, he kept me informed with what he thought the problem was and what he was planning to do to fix it, so at no point did I feel out of the loop, and the eventual diagnosis and repair made perfect sense when it came, which was very quick. Communication was prompt and to the point, so I never felt like I was wasting time. They were punctual, efficient, and conscientious when they came to my home to do the diagnosis and repair. Prices were reasonable, and Alex gave accurate estimates at all stages. Bonus points for responding promptly to Yelp quote requests and for actually taking a job that was rather on the small side: the other appliance places on Yelp wouldn't touch it! I'll definitely be calling Fuse HVAC and Appliance Repair again the next time I have appliance problems! Thanks again! read more
