It comes warm and it is super flavorful. It is now hard to think about going back here without picking up this bun. I know they had a vegetarian curry bun when I was there too but I have yet to try it. I also tried the passionfruit mochi donut and thought it was the best mochi donut I have had. The fruit flavor was perfectly sweet and tart and the mochi was chewy without being unyielding. I have not gone back to try their drinks but I know they have a menu for coffees and teas. They also have a punch card system so make sure you save that when you go and make purchases. It is a small location and they might be a bit busy but they always are going fast. I will go back lots more from here on out.

I tried Mexican chocolate, red velvet, peanut butter chocolate chip, and Funfetti. The cookies are baked fresh, and it was about a 10 minute wait. The wait was so worth it! The cookies come out piping hot. They were crispy on the outside and deliciously chewy in the middle, and each cookie had a distinct flavor. My favorite was the Mexican chocolate chip, which was cinnamon sugar, dark chocolate chunks, and a little bit of spicy cayenne. My second favorite was the peanut butter cookie with peanut butter and chocolate chips- just a really good peanut butter cookie! The Red Velvet and the Funfetti were a tie for me. In addition to made to order cookies, Boulder Bakes has cupcakes, cake slices, ice cream, coffee, cookies cakes, and tomato soup/grilled cheese. I'm happy to say Boulder Baked is open until 9:30 Sunday-Wednesday and until 10 Thursday-Saturday making it a great spot to grab a treat late at night. They specialize in offering gluten-free and vegan cakes and cookies. The interior is a little small and there's not much seating inside so ambience is why I would give a 4/5 star rating- otherwise the treats are delicious. I was looking for a GF & DF food gift for my daughter and her boyfriend and that website popped up. I wasn't sure if it was a legitimate website but after reading the reviews, we decided to place an order. We ordered The Diplomatic Box - Kyoto Edition which contained 2 Sakura Cherry Blossom Cookies, 2 Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 Matcha Chocolate Swirl Marble Cakes & 2 The Diplomatic Brownies. We received an email 4 days after we placed our order letting us know that our order had shipped. They ship their packages via USPS and provided a tracking number which I had been following. USPS' website showed that my daughter was supposed to be receiving it 3 days after we received the email letting us know that the order had been shipped. The day came but my daughter never got her package. I checked the USPS website which showed that there had been a delay and it stayed that way for a couple of days. I reached out to Sweet Diplomacy advising what was going on and advising that I was concerned with the quality since by then had been 10 days since it has been shipped. I didn't know if it would be safe to consume if/when they finally received it. Sweet Diplomacy offered to send a replacement or a store credit. I chose the replacement which they said they would send. Well, a couple of days after that, I saw the original package had been delivered. I reached out to Sweet Diplomacy again to let them know that the original package was delivered and to find out the status of the new package. The replacement package was delivered the same day as the original one! I let my daughter know the tracking number of the original package to make sure she didn't eat them. My daughter was surprised that I found a sweets that were GF & DF. They loved the cookies and brownies. I'm really happy that this company did the right thing with the replacement. I would order from them again but I hope there are no delays with the USPS next time!
